He is a forward ride but very safe and sensible. He has 3 big paces, and a thoughtful and careful jump. He isnt at all spooky and jumps fillers and xc fences bravely. He has been to one arena hire, stood on the lorry while the other horses jumped and was extremely sensible to be ridden.

Rio has plenty of potential to move up the levels eventing but due to his size he needs someone who is prepared to give him time to gain balance and strength. He has been slowly produced so far with longevity in mind.

Rio is good to do in all ways, hacking, farrier, vet, traffic, to handle, on the ground and ridden in and out of stable. Up to date with vaccinations etc.

This is an extremely sad sale of a much loved boy. Oscar is a 16.3hh, 12 year old TB x ISH, who we’ve owned nearly 7 years.

He’s an experienced amateur event horse, ideal for someone looking to have fun and gain experience at lower level eventing, he was 1 place out of qualifying for badminton grassroots last year.

He’s well established on the flat with 3 beautiful paces, with all lateral work inc Half Pass and traverse etc. He’s got 76% at Novice level and placed at RC elem, he’s won pretty much all dressage competitions he’s gone to. Judges love him as he’s very striking with lovely paces and tries his heart out. He’s good to hack alone or in company, not a novice ride as can be spooky and keen but never bucks, rears or bolts.

He’s got a fabulous jump, may have the odd pole SJ, and is incredibly bold XC. Will jump anything you put in front of him, he’s schooled round Intermediate XC with bags of scope but isn’t as consistent SJ at the higher levels.

He’s full of character and everybody that knows him adores him. Ideally looking for a quiet, taller, lightweight rider, but home is incredibly important.

Juno is a much-loved member of our family and this is a very reluctant sale due to our daughter deciding to give up riding. We have owned him for over two years, having bought him straight off the track. During this time, he’s been retrained by our daughter (now 16), with guidance and support from a professional trainer who works with 5* eventing horses.

My daughter’s main focus has been cross country and hunting, where he has schooled up to 90cm and competed at 80cm cross country, as well as pairs. He has been out hunting numerous times and showjumped up to 90cm. He is never hot when at events and is happy being left in the trailer.

He has 3 nice paces, works well on the flat and could do well in dressage, it’s just not something my daughter has fully worked on to achieve his true potential. He is willing to learn and loves his job.

He has been on many sponsored rides and beach rides, never getting strong and able to go with a big group. Last summer, he did a 3 day pony camp where he was quick to settle in.

Juno is happy hacking out alone or in company, as well as leading or following without getting strong.

He is good to clip, shoe and has no vices. He travels well in our trailer.

Juno is a kind horse and a true gentleman, who loves cuddles and being groomed. As he can sometimes be spooky when hacking, he would only suit a confident and competent rider.
