  • Sweet pea is perfect for someone looking for an allrounder type horse
Meet sweet pea the most loving mare you’ll ever meet which is rare. She loves to be fussed and groomed all day long and she’s happy to stand there tied up.

Sweet pea is perfect for someone looking for an allrounder type horse - She’s a very quick learner and loves her work.

She has three lovely paces her canter is like your on a rocking horse. She loves her jumping she’s never gonna do you dirty at a jump she will always try her hardest even if you’ve got a bad stride towards it she will not stop she’s a very honest mare.

She is happy to hack alone or in company she still is a bit green at hacking on roads as she’s s only 5 and hasn’t done much of it but she will never do anything bad. In a group hack she will happily lead and doesn’t copy another horse if its acting up she will happily carry on with the hack.

Sweet pea is great in open spaces end of the buckle and happy to be in front or back when going for a canter.

She is great for the farrier and to clip.

The only bad thing I would say about sweet pea is she loves to get a good old poo stain when you’re just given her a bath

All the pizazz without the sass! Meet this gorgeous 8-year-old, 17hh gelding by Flammengold, ready to turn heads and steal the show. Having been in the same home since a two year old, he’s been slowly and carefully produced with longevity in mind.

He’s had a thoughtful and varied education, gaining plenty of life experience through stay away camps, hacking holidays, and fun outings while maturing into his beautiful, floaty paces. This year he’s really started to develop a flair for dressage and is showing all the right ingredients to progress further.

With his endearing character and genuine attitude to work, he’d make a wonderful partner for someone looking for a talented, correct young horse to bring on through the levels, while still enjoying the fun stuff, from pub hacks with friends to little jump clinics.

An absolute gem on the ground, he’s easy to handle in every way. Dog and child friendly, he’s happy to stand tied up for a pamper session even when there’s chaos on the yard. Super to hack, unphased by traffic and most things you’ll meet out and about. Currently barefoot, great for the farrier, and loads easily whether alone or in company.

A lovely, level-headed horse with all the sparkle and none of the drama.

Just passed a 5 stage vetting, with X-rays and full report available!

If interested please WhatsApp on 07498 996812 plenty more videos and pictures on request.

Open to offers, loving home very important!

16.2hh Grey mare by Indian Red arrived as unbroken 4 year old and I have done everything with her since.

She is brave and is not bothered by fillers etc, she is a wonderful mare to do in all respects, she hack out alone or in company does beach rides, hunt rides etc.

She is a forward going mare, she has done a little XC and she enjoy that and I am sure would excel at XC.

She is a fantastic horse to own a very friendly and tactile horse, she is good in traffic excellent to box shoe clip and travels in both a trailer or lorry, you can leave her for weeks and just pick her back up where she left off .

I think she would be ideal for the one horse owner to do all riding club activities, BS, ODE, pleasure rides she is extremely genuine and a type hard to find. She goes in a lorry or trailer, we absolutely love her to bits and she needs and deserves the best home possible.

She is unfortunately extremely underused and wasted with me with my ever increasing family commitments and my daughter increasing in her competing with her horse.

Sadly for sale as very over stocked

16hh | 2020 Irish Cob Gelding
Norfolk, 15k Ono saddle and rugs available please call number below and speak to Nicole

Tom is looking for a new home through absolutely no fault of his own. He was bought 5 months ago (with a clean vetting).
Current owner is a nervous rider and the partnership hasn’t been the right fit.

He’s a sweet, genuine boy who naturally takes his confidence from his rider. He needs someone who is carefree and happy to kick on, give him guidance, and ride him consistently.

Tom originally came over from Ireland and has been well handled. On the ground he is a joy — friendly, polite, loves attention, and will stand all day to be groomed or fussed. Good to load, catch and bath, and barefoot.

Under saddle, Tom shows all the promises to be a fantastic all rounder, whether you want a dressage or show partner or a horse to go have fun on and go hunting! He has correct flashy paces, however he is still green/ young. He has lovely movement and is keen to learn. He can be a bit wobbly, needs strengthening work and bringing on.

He’s ridden in a snaffle and has a naturally willing attitude, he just needs miles, confidence and consistency.

He hacks alone and in company, has seen all sorts of traffic, and is sensible in open spaces.
He hasn’t jumped since being purchased 5 months ago, but previously enjoyed it and was bold and honest when he went XC schooling before his sale.

Tom will make someone a really rewarding partner — he’s safe, sweet, and tries his best, but he’s young and needs a confident rider who can support him and help him continue developing.

Not suitable for novices. Ideal for someone wanting a fun, kind horse to bring on with time and consistency.

ULTIMATE ALLROUNDER
Mya is a gorgeous 15h/15.1 Approx 11 year old Coloured Mare Cob x. The perfect people would be someone who would be wanting to participate as: Low Level Allrounder, Showing, Dressage, RC, Junior PC, Happy Hacker, Fun rides, Pleasure horse, Mother/Daughter Share for a competent home. Spent the last 3 years Happy Hacking in a wonderful private place.

As a ridden horse:
Mya is a naturally forward going mare. Her paces are outstanding and would shine in a dressage/showing environment. Potential to register as a Chaps/TGCA showing prospect, her markings will make her stand out from the crowd. Her confirmation is very correct and smart. She’s very eye catching.

Mya will walk, trot and canter in a sweet outline. She’s well schooled and started her lateral work. Flicks her toes and would certainly have potential in the BD/Petplan festivals. Loves her polework and is very clever, will pick things up very easily.

She’s a keen jumper, she can get excited due to not doing very much of this over the last 3 years. Hasn’t got a stop in her, very willing. She’s just forward to a fence, so wouldn’t suit a nervous novice. Mya doesn’t have to jump in her new place if that’s something you wish not to do.

Mya will hack alone and in company. She has seen heavy traffic including busses, tractors, large machinery and hgv Lorrie’s on our working farm. This is what she’s mainly done for the past 3 years with her private owner. She will happily go into open spaces, will canter in a group. Does prefer to be leading. A sensible, level headed Allrounder cob.

On the ground:
Shes great to handle on the ground. Great to bath, tie up, groom, tack up. Great to clip, no sedation needed. Great for the farrier. Will happily stable. Current routine, she’s in at evening, out in the day individually. Shod up front. Up to date with flu + tet. Loaded and travelled well on a 3.5 tonne box.

Based Warwickshire with great trial facilities. Previously passed a 5 stage vetting. Bridle and rugs included. Does have some mallanders which are treatable with creams and not fazed by them. Clean legs and body

A one in a million type that doesn’t come available often, only the best places need to apply. All places will be vetted and references asked for.

Plenty of videos on request to show how fabulous she is

Very sad sale of my much loved boy "Rory"

Registered name "Lets Go LS"

17'1 9 year old coloured KWPN.

I've owned Rory for three years, where he has brought back my confidence. Rory has attended many somerford camps, county shows, dressage shows, showjumping, showing and Eventing.

He has lovely paces and would excel in the dressage world with the correct training. He is learning changes and lateral work and shows a great attitude towards his work.

Rory will jump round a course of 80/90 showjumps, however he can have poles. He's honest and fun to jump.

Rory has XC schooled to 100 level, jumping ditches, water, steps, drops, skinnies with no problems. He is often used as the lead horse.

Rory is ridden in a snaffle to flat and a pelham to jump, he can be ridden in snaffle to jump, however I find him easier to balance with a pelham.

Rory is brilliant to travel and stay away, he is extremely relaxed and easy to deal with in all ways.

He is very well priced due to having a tieback in early 2023, this has left him with a noise when working hard.

Rory would be the perfect dressage, riding club or allrounder to have fun with. Rory will not event due to tieback.

Rory doesnt need ridden daily, will go first or last, will stand alone or be left. He really is an absolute gent in all ways.

My reason for sale is that i'm a competitive rider and wish to move up the levels.

Rory has scored marks of below 30 in his dressage.
9th at his first BE80.
2nd in local summer SJ series.

Can come with some tack and rugs by separate negotiation.

Stunning homebred chestnut Colt, Dancing Duke out of homebred Mare, Dancing Duchess (75% TB - 25% Arab) - (by Daws Firebird). Duchess has been an exceptional allrounder and is the 7th generation of a line bred by my grandmother.

Duke carries himself beautifully, showing exceptional movement, grace and cadence - his innate character is inquisitive and bold, left brain and confident. An exceptional character to train for whatever discipline. Would excel in the eventing world, or dressage world due to his phenomenal breeding. See below for more information.

Duke's sire is Catherston Liberator (75% TB), whose Thoroughbred sire was Liboi.

Catherston Liberator was an extremely tough, sound race horse who raced for no less than 8 seasons. Liberator’s mother was the Grade B showjumper, Catherston Jetstream by Jashin. Liberator fulfilled his early promise by attaining Advanced status Eventing and Prix St George standard in Dressage. In Eventing he won at Novice on only his second outing followed by leading after Dr and SJ at Mattingley in the 2**. That season finished with him winning the Aldon 2 day event by 11 points!!!! The following year started with him winning the Novice at Tweseldown, followed by 3 consecutive wins at Intermediate {Longleat, Sommerley and Wilton}. An incredible record, even by modern day standards.

In the Dressage arena Catherston Libertor competed at Advanced gaining over 450 BD points and followed in his mother’s hoof prints in the show jumping ring winning £346, qualifying for the Winter Novice Championships at Hickstead where he was 2nd in the Grade C competition.

If his own performance record isn’t enough he is also one of THE most consistent sires of top level competition horses. He has a number of Advanced eventers to his credit including the double 3*** {old rating} winner in America, the British Bred Tregarth and in the UK most recently Xavier Faer who was 3rd at Badminton 2018.

So here you have one of the very few Elite stallions who possesses thoroughbred blood, has competed himself at the highest level and has sired numerous top competition horses, both in the UK and world wide.

Duke (2yr old) is for sale as we don't have the time for the next phase, as I'm working full time in London.

If carlsburg made horses !!

Dream horse

He has am amazing temperament and enjoys work really wants to please you !

He has great movement and a powerful jump

He is brave , careful and exceptionally rideable -he has all the scope and is very careful - with some BS points / double clears on his cards he will be worth a fortune

He has lightly competed unaff SJ and has been XC and hunting on several occasions hes also been a winner showing too, he’s great to hack both alone or in company - not silly or spooky. But he has a real talent for jumping and will quickly go up the levels BS - I really wanted to compete him and he’s ready to go out but just struggling to find the time . He’s a fun forward going ride but totally safe with it . Easy enough for an amateur

No vices , open to any inspection

Location Faversham Kent .

Strictly no timewasters ; he’s a very rare find and is going to make someone extremely happy !

By Royal Cruise X All The Diamonds

Super all rounder, hunter, riding club, hack and dressage.

Ice has been with his owner since unbroken but wasn’t started until a 5 year old as was allowed to grow and mature and he has done a bit of everything since being started.

Sad sale of a lovely horse due to owners impending surgery which will leave her out the saddle for the foreseeable future.

Ice is a lovely, mannerly horse who has been well produced by his owner. He has had a great start and been competing novice dressage with good scores of %.

He is a good old fashioned Irish horse and is athletic enough but steady and sensible in his brain. He is well schooled on the flat and rides well, with basic lateral work and a lovely mouth.

Ice has been out show jumping round 90 both at home and at training shows, he’s a very genuine jumper. He has been lightly XC schooled and has proved brave with everything faced to him.

He hacks out very sensibly both alone and in company and is good in traffic.

Ice has been out on several hound exercises this year and again proved sane and sensible.

He would suit a home to do a bit of everything with, ideal riding club horse , he’s attended numerous clinics and would love to continue to have fun.

To handle he is a sweet chap, good in and out the stable, good to clip, catch, box, shoe. He is happy to live in or out.

Seen at livery.

  • Responsive and eager to learn - a real sweetie
  • 8th at BD Prelim Regional Finals, now at Novice with a 2nd at the PetPlan Area Festival qual final.

This home bred young mare is bred in the purple for dressage but would also event. She is graded Premium by her breed society and was Champion of her grading so will be a top class breeding prospect once her competition days are over

She benefits from gold plated dressage bloodlines on the sires side - Helium / Millennium / Easy Game (sire of TSF Dalera - multiple medal winner). Her dam was a successful 3* eventer herself by a 4* and Olympic team stallion.

She did her first unaffiliated dressage competition and came away with a win and a 2nd both with well over 70% and she is now registered for BD and notched up top placings in her first outings. Her first BD outing resulted in two wins with 69 & 71% (qualifier), followed by another outing where she claimed a win (70% qualifier) and a second (picky judge who deducted 2 points for taking more than 45 seconds to enter after the bell!) - A recent outing to Solihull saw her exceed the necessary points for a Prelim Regional Finals ticket with scores of 67%+ and 70%. At the Regional Finals she was placed 8th out of a big 'silver' class (approx 40) with only 2 points between her and the winner. She was awarded a wild card to the Nationals given this result and put up a good performance for a first time championship contender..
She has now moved on to Novice as is working well at that level with the aim of getting to the Pet Plan championships this year. Her first outings at Novice have resulted in a plethora of second placings with scores over 65% up to 69%+ - not bad for a newbie! At a push she could qualify for the BD Novice Regionals but we will not campaign her at that level just yet and leave it at the Pet Plan Area Festival. The Area Festival brought a very welcome result in that Burundi was a very close runner up (pipped by 0.2 of a point) at Novice Silver and has therefore qualified as of right for the PetPlan National Champs in October here she also did not disgrace herself despite gale force winds and rain on the day and the night before.

She loads well , travels like a saint and will stand in the lorry all day without fretting even when her mates are put in or taken out. Good on the road and to hack generally alone or in company. Easy to do in the stable - clip, shoe etc - or to handle from the ground. More importantly she is a really sweet and affectionate horse.

She is responsive and forward thinking to ride so is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider. This is a real opportunity to buy a world class horse at a reasonable price.

She will go to the top for an ambitious and experienced amateur or a professional rider. She would also temperamentally suit a confident Para rider. Please note that video was taken at the Regional Champs this year.

See her at the Petplan National Championships - Novice Silver.

Homebred mare, sold by us as a 2yo and then bought her back December 2024. A little green as had not been anywhere before we had her. Has done a handful of shows and showing real ability. She has a superb canter, is scopey and careful but brave too. She would equally be a great eventer as showjumper.

By a son of Eldorado x Quasimodo who went to America as a 5yo and was 6yo championship winner, now jumping 150s. She is out of a Vaillant (For Pleasure) x Riverman dam who has bred us some really nice horses. We have a 2yo and 4yo out of her as well.

Shes easy to handle, shoe and clip. Sweet friendly mare.
16.3 finer type, beautiful model.

For sale but would equally keep her for an owner to produce.

Striking 2020 Irish bay gelding standing at 17hh, lines including Sligo Candy Boy, this beautiful, big, athletic chap will be a super horse for someone.

He has a gorgeous big step, nice presence about him but a very nicely done, quiet ride. Ralph has three elastic paces on the flat, he rides big and gives you a great feeling, super comfortable and easy to ride, snaffle mouthed, not sharp, he will ride off your leg or voice, not sensitive or a worrier, just a nice relaxed, easy horse.

Ralph has plenty of scope, he isn’t remotely bothered by coloured fillers / rustic fences and will jump off any stride.

A nice, well started, uncomplicated and easy horse. He’s lightly hunted, done training shows SJ and XC schooled. Despite his age, he’s a gentleman to hack out alone and with friends, will pass all heavy and fast vehicles and doesn’t change in an open space, he’s Mr cool and anyone’s ride.

A lovely horse in the yard, laid back and easy. Open to any vet or trainer

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

He has many top placings at some competitive high fielded shows, he’s competitive and will turn and jump off any stride.

He’s brave bold horse who isn’t spooky , always snaffled mouthed. Great to hack out alone and in company. He’s done xc, fun rides, dressage  and also was placed in arena eventing championships last season.

He’s a lovely easy guy who anyone could ride. Never naughty etc. a real fun horse for someone who wants to do abit of everything

Same home since a baby so is a sad sale.

He is easy to keep as a stallion but he can be kept and gelded after sale if needed.

Late starter in his competition career due to owners circumstances. So very low mileage for his age.

“Sunny” is a beautifully put-together gelding with a wonderful temperament and a super attitude to life. Homebred by ourselves, he’s been slowly and carefully produced and is now confidently jumping up to Foxhunter level. Despite giving him plenty of time to see if he’d sharpen up, he remains delightfully laid-back — which makes him an absolute dream to handle, but not quite the sharp type we prefer for our string.

He’s brave and straightforward in the arena, well-mannered at home and at shows, and behaves impeccably on the ground. He’s also been cross-country schooling and took everything in his stride — calm, willing, and genuine throughout.

On the flat, he works correctly with three good paces and established changes. Out hacking, he’s good as gold — he might pretend to be spooky now and then, but never in a naughty way.

Sunny has no vices or medical issues, is sound, and open to any vetting. He’s happily ridden by a range of riders, from more experienced to less confident, and is the same genuine chap for all of them.

His older siblings are out competing and winning at higher levels — they’ve simply inherited a bit more “go”! We think Sunny could make a lovely all-rounder, hunter, or amateur’s competition horse, and we’d love to find him his perfect forever home where his easy-going nature will be appreciated.

Gorgeous 16.3hh rising 6 year old Irish sport horse gelding
Super straightforward horse who genuinely loves his job, will make either a top class alrounder/potentail eventer or be ideal for someone who wants to carry on with him down the showjumping route.
He has also hunted on a few occasions.
Snaffle mouthed at all times.

A pleasure to have on the yard and to do in all ways, never causes me any trouble and would never use his size against you.
Perfect to catch load travel shoe clip ect
Doesn’t have any stable vices
Can turn out on his own or with others
No lumps or bumps or sarcoids ect

He has jumped 4 year old and 5 year old classes over in Ireland with plenty of scope to do more , he’s extremely bold whilst still being very careful.
I think he’s got potential to go really far with the right person but equally he’s happy just being a general riding club horse.
Will happily jump any filler/plank ect , great in new places and isn’t the sharp type.
He’s been cross country , will go straight through the water, any ditch bank log anything you face him at he’s happy to give a go.
Brillant in traffic , infact probably Willy find a horse much better. We don’t have an arena at home so have done plenty out and about with him and he’s always been great.
The novice weekend girls have hacked him out down the roads and he always brings them home in one piece.
Doesn’t get silly in open spaces either .

Has a full clean set of x rays to.
Is open to any vet inspection needed before purchase.
I can’t say enough good things about this horse, he really is one in a million and I’d love to follow his progress.
Am in no rush to sell, but equally he’s is ready for his new home as soon as someone wanted him.

Based in Essex
