Very sad sale of my much loved boy "Rory"

Registered name "Lets Go LS"

17'1 9 year old coloured KWPN.

I've owned Rory for three years, where he has brought back my confidence. Rory has attended many somerford camps, county shows, dressage shows, showjumping, showing and Eventing.

He has lovely paces and would excel in the dressage world with the correct training. He is learning changes and lateral work and shows a great attitude towards his work.

Rory will jump round a course of 80/90 showjumps, however he can have poles. He's honest and fun to jump.

Rory has XC schooled to 100 level, jumping ditches, water, steps, drops, skinnies with no problems. He is often used as the lead horse.

Rory is ridden in a snaffle to flat and a pelham to jump, he can be ridden in snaffle to jump, however I find him easier to balance with a pelham.

Rory is brilliant to travel and stay away, he is extremely relaxed and easy to deal with in all ways.

He is very well priced due to having a tieback in early 2023, this has left him with a noise when working hard.

Rory would be the perfect dressage, riding club or allrounder to have fun with. Rory will not event due to tieback.

Rory doesnt need ridden daily, will go first or last, will stand alone or be left. He really is an absolute gent in all ways.

My reason for sale is that i'm a competitive rider and wish to move up the levels.

Rory has scored marks of below 30 in his dressage.
9th at his first BE80.
2nd in local summer SJ series.

Can come with some tack and rugs by separate negotiation.

Good Home very important to me!

Sire is currently winning BD with scores in the high 70’s at only 5 yrs qualified Regional champs , showing huge potential for the higher levels.

Her dam Millrowes Calendar Girl has a fantastic temperament was very trainable. She was competed BJSA and WH but her carer was unfortunately cut short due to a stable injury but was kept on by the owner as a brood mare due to her temperament and ability.

ULTIMATE ALLROUNDER
Mya is a gorgeous 15h/15.1 Approx 11 year old Coloured Mare Cob x. The perfect people would be someone who would be wanting to participate as: Low Level Allrounder, Showing, Dressage, RC, Junior PC, Happy Hacker, Fun rides, Pleasure horse, Mother/Daughter Share for a competent home. Spent the last 3 years Happy Hacking in a wonderful private place.

As a ridden horse:
Mya is a naturally forward going mare. Her paces are outstanding and would shine in a dressage/showing environment. Potential to register as a Chaps/TGCA showing prospect, her markings will make her stand out from the crowd. Her confirmation is very correct and smart. She’s very eye catching.

Mya will walk, trot and canter in a sweet outline. She’s well schooled and started her lateral work. Flicks her toes and would certainly have potential in the BD/Petplan festivals. Loves her polework and is very clever, will pick things up very easily.

She’s a keen jumper, she can get excited due to not doing very much of this over the last 3 years. Hasn’t got a stop in her, very willing. She’s just forward to a fence, so wouldn’t suit a nervous novice. Mya doesn’t have to jump in her new place if that’s something you wish not to do.

Mya will hack alone and in company. She has seen heavy traffic including busses, tractors, large machinery and hgv Lorrie’s on our working farm. This is what she’s mainly done for the past 3 years with her private owner. She will happily go into open spaces, will canter in a group. Does prefer to be leading. A sensible, level headed Allrounder cob.

On the ground:
Shes great to handle on the ground. Great to bath, tie up, groom, tack up. Great to clip, no sedation needed. Great for the farrier. Will happily stable. Current routine, she’s in at evening, out in the day individually. Shod up front. Up to date with flu + tet. Loaded and travelled well on a 3.5 tonne box.

Based Warwickshire with great trial facilities. Previously passed a 5 stage vetting. Bridle and rugs included. Does have some mallanders which are treatable with creams and not fazed by them. Clean legs and body

A one in a million type that doesn’t come available often, only the best places need to apply. All places will be vetted and references asked for.

Plenty of videos on request to show how fabulous she is

Lovely with other horses or happy on his own, very level headed, not a stressy type at all.

He’s got everything going for him, the looks, temperament and ability to go far in life.

Unbroken/unspoilt but the type that will love to please and be very rewarding to bring on.

Will make a fantastic SJ/Eventer/WH or moves well enough for pure dressage.

Northwich (Arley)

Handsome 10-year-old, 17hh chestnut Thoroughbred gelding by Sir Cobra, trained and evented previously by Austin O’Connor.

Sir Ancelotti is a true gentleman with so much to offer. He has been in and out of work for the past year, so he will need someone patient to gently build up his top line and bring him back into consistent fitness. With time and care, he will easily reach his full potential.

Highlights:
-Hacks alone or in company, including on roads
-Previously hunted and jumped up to 90cm (with former owner)
-Exceptional brakes, never reared, not bolshy, never bites
-Can shy at large tractors, blowing bags or bird flying out of brush. But never mean and doesn’t bolt, usually a jump to the side and regains confidence. Because of this need a rider who is confidence giving and knows that every horse can shy now and again.
-Forward when asked but always safe — responds beautifully to voice and a light squeeze, never needing whip or spur
-Kind and adaptable — confidence-giving for beginners, yet responsive and rewarding for experienced riders
-Has great groundwork and liberty training foundation (lunges without tack, responds to voice commands for transitions)—all needs to be brought back in of course.
-Barefoot, easy to trim, brilliant to catch, clip, and handle and load.
-Loves pampering and people — will literally snooze on your shoulder while being stroked.

Lifestyle & Care:
-Currently living out 24/7 in a herd and thriving — ideally suited to this setup
-Not keen on being stabled for long periods (can get “stable depressed”)
-Needs diet management: can drop weight in winter/stress and had tie-back surgery at 4 (best with grass/hard feed and hay from the floor; too much hay tied up may cause mild choke, which he handles calmly)

Comes with full wardrobe of rugs, saddle pads, hoof boots, plus a custom Saddle Company saddle and bespoke bridle/bit.

Please apply for more details, photos, or to arrange to meet this very special horse.

*I currently don’t ride after giving birth to my son but I will set you up with my trainer who can ride Kash before you do if needed!

Stunning homebred chestnut Colt, Dancing Duke out of homebred Mare, Dancing Duchess (75% TB - 25% Arab) - (by Daws Firebird). Duchess has been an exceptional allrounder and is the 7th generation of a line bred by my grandmother.

Duke carries himself beautifully, showing exceptional movement, grace and cadence - his innate character is inquisitive and bold, left brain and confident. An exceptional character to train for whatever discipline. Would excel in the eventing world, or dressage world due to his phenomenal breeding. See below for more information.

Duke's sire is Catherston Liberator (75% TB), whose Thoroughbred sire was Liboi.

Catherston Liberator was an extremely tough, sound race horse who raced for no less than 8 seasons. Liberator’s mother was the Grade B showjumper, Catherston Jetstream by Jashin. Liberator fulfilled his early promise by attaining Advanced status Eventing and Prix St George standard in Dressage. In Eventing he won at Novice on only his second outing followed by leading after Dr and SJ at Mattingley in the 2**. That season finished with him winning the Aldon 2 day event by 11 points!!!! The following year started with him winning the Novice at Tweseldown, followed by 3 consecutive wins at Intermediate {Longleat, Sommerley and Wilton}. An incredible record, even by modern day standards.

In the Dressage arena Catherston Libertor competed at Advanced gaining over 450 BD points and followed in his mother’s hoof prints in the show jumping ring winning £346, qualifying for the Winter Novice Championships at Hickstead where he was 2nd in the Grade C competition.

If his own performance record isn’t enough he is also one of THE most consistent sires of top level competition horses. He has a number of Advanced eventers to his credit including the double 3*** {old rating} winner in America, the British Bred Tregarth and in the UK most recently Xavier Faer who was 3rd at Badminton 2018.

So here you have one of the very few Elite stallions who possesses thoroughbred blood, has competed himself at the highest level and has sired numerous top competition horses, both in the UK and world wide.

Duke (2yr old) is for sale as we don't have the time for the next phase, as I'm working full time in London.

  • Sweet pea is perfect for someone looking for an allrounder type horse
Meet sweet pea the most loving mare you’ll ever meet which is rare. She loves to be fussed and groomed all day long and she’s happy to stand there tied up.

Sweet pea is perfect for someone looking for an allrounder type horse - She’s a very quick learner and loves her work.

She has three lovely paces her canter is like your on a rocking horse. She loves her jumping she’s never gonna do you dirty at a jump she will always try her hardest even if you’ve got a bad stride towards it she will not stop she’s a very honest mare.

She is happy to hack alone or in company she still is a bit green at hacking on roads as she’s s only 5 and hasn’t done much of it but she will never do anything bad. In a group hack she will happily lead and doesn’t copy another horse if its acting up she will happily carry on with the hack.

Sweet pea is great in open spaces end of the buckle and happy to be in front or back when going for a canter.

She is great for the farrier and to clip.

The only bad thing I would say about sweet pea is she loves to get a good old poo stain when you’re just given her a bath

Unfazed by warm up and whiteboards we expect her to excel inside the dressage arena.

She would make a fantastic mother daughter share or genuine allrounder for the keen amateur.

Bred as a competition horse so NOT for novices. Lovely temperament and good with farrier, vet etc. Snaffle mouth at all times. Can buck but not often. Wears pads on front feet - happy to discuss.

Loves to jump, schooling a bit boring so a complete dressage home would not be the right one for him and he does need a friend to hack with.

He is just such an amazing character who just needs to come down a gear - we need to find him a fun all rounder home.

Price subject to discussion as not seeking a fortune for him. Right home is more important . Based in Chobham, Surrey

Registered BAPSH PRE Fusion - BUTTERCRAMBE SEPHORA (MILL ESPLENDIDO x FFYNNONBACH ELLIE AUR)
6 years, greying buckskin, around 14.3hh.

We have owned Sephora since she was a year old and have produced her slowly.

Her grandsire is Macetero IX, a pure PRE Carthusian stallion of the Bocado line. Her sire is Mill Esplendido (15.2hh) bred at Millpark Andalusians here in the UK and her dam Ffynnonbach Ellie Aur (14.2hh) is owned by Sephora’s breeder.

True to her breed Sephora is a quick learner and has such a sweet and curious personality. She adores human contact, lots of fuss and loves nothing more than a good bum scratch!!

She is good to be shoe, walks onto a trailer or box with a little encouragement and travels brilliantly (alone or with another horse) and is up to date with vaccinations, dentist (had her only wolf tooth out) and worming.

Has mostly wintered out since being with us and is very easy to catch however for the last year has been stabled alone or next to others. She has had two periods of box rest (4 weeks each, I’ll explain later) and was perfectly behaved, she never stressed or developed any bad behaviours. She’s had a slow and quiet start to life so hasn’t developed any bad habits or fears and with reassurance has always taken things in her stride. She really is an uncomplicated horse and such a sweetheart.

Unfortunately she hasn’t made the height for my daughter so was advertised for sale last year. A 2 stage vetting revealed she had bilateral hind limb suspensory desmitis and kissing spine, likely something she was born with. She never showed any signs of pain so we were completely taken aback.

Sephora underwent surgery at the end of last year (Hambleton’s for her hind limbs and Ridings Vets for her back) and has followed a comprehensive and thorough rehab programme under her vet’s and her physio’s close eyes. Sephora has progressed perfectly since surgery, has never had any setbacks and is now ready to take someone on a fun journey. Her vet sees no reason why she shouldn’t pass a 5 stage vetting.

She was broken in by Adams Yates at AY Horsemanship last year (more Western style) and has been working well in walk and trot and hacking out alone and in company. She hasn’t done much schooling as we didn’t have the opportunity prior to surgery however she seems to be taking to it well. This is something we are working on now.

She is used to farm machinery, dogs etc and doesn’t seem phased by traffic. She has quite an inquisitive nature.

Sephora is so sweet and curious and really has a heart of gold. I’d love her to go to a home that isn’t just about bringing her on and selling her, more one that wants to get the best out of her and have fun with her.

She’s had her saddle checked recently.

Due to her age and the stage of her education I would say Sephora is still green and not suitable for a novice. She still takes reassurance from her rider.

Tack included, new within the last year.

Open to any vetting and open to offers to the right home.

More photos and videos available. Sheffield based.

ps. Some photos show her in a western saddle. She was broken in western style. This will not be the saddle she comes with.

Sarah - 16.2h Blemish free mare with a gorgeous personality inside and out and just wants to be someone’s best friend.

She’s one for the whole family to enjoy and would suit a child transitioning to horses or maturer rider wanting something reliable and safe.

She would happily take a wobbly rider wanting to learn the ropes. Sarah is a snaffle mouth at all times and is never strong or fizzy and has excellent brakes. The type you can flap about on with no hands!

Sarah has been a confidence giving best friend to her previous owners one being for 5 years dressage training at home, hacking and competing and most recently being a reliable confidence giving best friend for the past 2.5 years. Full history known since she was 6.

Sarah is working elementary with a lovely walk to canter and leg yields etc. Sarah loves to jump and is a point and steer job who is honest and sorts her striding out for you. Unfazed by coloured/rustic fences.

She loves forest, beach and sponsored rides. Hacks alone or in company. She really isn’t your typical “spicy chestnut mare”

She’s unbelievably kind and affectionate and easy to do in all ways. A soft and safe character to work with the on the ground.

I really cannot emphasise how safe Sarah is. Perfect for a novice, equally would be a really asset to a riding school or tracking centre but she has always been in 1-1 loving private homes and we would like this again for her. She is absolutely anyone’s ride.
She has plenty left in the tank so please don’t let her age bother you. If you’re after a loving, genuine safe bet to love and adore this is your lady.

Eye catching, attractive looking horse with 3 good paces and a good scopey jump.

He has competed at training shows, BS on a day ticket and a handful of unaffiliated events with good results. Most recently he finished 3rd at Oasby with 30 dressage, double clear.

He has an excellent brain and is completely unfazed, whilst still having enough about him to progress a long way up the levels in eventing.

Level and consistent in the dressage phases with a lovely relaxed way of going.

Takes everything in his stride in the jumping phases. Good with water, ditches, steps etc.

A quality horse with a lovely outlook on life. Schooling around 1.10 at home with ease and scope for more when further developed.

He has been slowly and carefully produced. Left to mature and grow over the summer while commitments with other horses took over.

He has enjoyed an all round education.

Although he hasn't hunted yet, he would have the right brain to. He would stand out at the meet and give a lovely day out.

Good to hack, goes alone or in company.

He would be an asset to a professional's string or easy enough be produced by a competent junior/young rider or amateur.

Full set of x rays. Good to box, shoe, clip. Good to take out.

A lovely all round horse who is willing to have a go at anything asked of him.

Only for sale due to being over stocked.

Hank is a genuine, talented, and much-loved horse looking for his next partner.

He has evented successfully up to 100 level in Ireland as a young horse, giving him a solid foundation in all three phases jumping many double clears including wins. Recently competing British Showjumping where he is showjumping double clear at Foxhunter level and is only for sale as his young rider wants to focus on SJ whereas his forte is eventing

He is still eligible for Grassroots eventing, yet has plenty of ability to move up the levels with the right rider.

Hank won the BE100 Arena Eventing class at Aston le Walls 8/11 and is schooling over Novice fences with ease. Would go straight out at Novice next year.

Fantastic all-rounder
Lovely temperament – kind, uncomplicated, and easy on the ground, excellent to shoe, clip, load etc
Super jumper – honest and scopey with a rhythmic canter
Would be ideal for Riding Club, amateurs, teens off ponies, or someone aiming for Grassroots and beyond.

His only negative would be he can be sharp/spooky to hack so wouldn’t be suitable for a novice rider

He’s fit, sound, and ready for his next home

Reluctant and sad sale of a family horse.
Beautifully put together with a kind gentle character.

Reduced price as sold from field; has had several months off due to work/ family commitments, however open to any vetting.

George is uncomplicated and snaffle mouthed. Hacks brilliantly alone and in company in the busiest of traffic, this is mainly what he has done as now on a private yard with no school. He was however schooled regularly following being backed and would soon pick this back up.

George has been to several clinics and group rides, he is easy to manage in open spaces and has been on fun/ beach rides never being strong or silly.

He is easy to load, stands well for farrier, and great in the stable. Used to all animals and small children/ machinery.

Has started jumping and shows great potential as a jumper/ eventer, equally would make be a super showing/ dressage type.

Turned out usually in company but occasionally on his own without any problems.

Vice and blemish free.

Loads of photos and videos on request via WhatsApp.

Tack/ rugs are negotiable at a separate cost.

No time wasters/ loans and trials.

Marley is my 8 year old KWPN cross gelding standing 16.3/17hh.

I have owned him from a 2 year old but known him from a foal so full history known.

His dam is a 17.2 KWPN jumping mare, sire 15hh sports pony (Diamond storm Murphy) by the prolific Stormhill Mink.

Marley has excellent conformation, straight moving with no lumps or bumps. He has 3 exceptionally balanced paces and is very agile and athletic to go with it. He schools beautifully from the seat and soft to the hand. He find lateral work very easy, leg yield, shoulder in and simple flying changes, medium and extended trot. He is as soft as can be and could have a piece of thread from my hand to his bit.

Marley will hack out alone or in company and has never bucked, reared, bolted etc. although he may have a little spook at things, he always goes past ANYTHING.

I have had Marley out to unaffiliated dressage and jumping along with many clinics and camps covering jumping and XC where he excels. He is keen and loves to jump with a bold, brave and careful jump. I have schooled him upto 105cm which he does with ease (but I am no showjumper) and told he is a 120cm horse all day long. At the last clinic (Somerford park) the instructor told me she expected my eventing debut by the end of this season.

He is ready to progress his career now with someone who can take him out places and do more with him.

Although he is a safe horse, he is not a novice ride and requires a knowledgeable rider as he is sensitive to the aids and needs very little leg (but in no way silly). Like I say, he has never bucked, bolted, reared at all,

I am sadly parting with my heart horse due to my own personal circumstances and health as he deserves to be out doing what he loves - a job!!

He has never been sick or sorry a day in his life and open to any vettings etc. he is perfect to load and travel. Great with farrier (I have him unshod as he has great feet so never been shod) perfect to trim and clip. I only do half face as he doesnt like clippers around his ears.

No vices at all!!

Upto date with teeth, back and vaccinations. Lots of pics and vids available.

This is the hardest decision I have had to make and would love to see Marley go to a home ideally to event but with a varied job as he deserves the best.

Striking 2020 Irish bay gelding standing at 17hh, lines including Sligo Candy Boy, this beautiful, big, athletic chap will be a super horse for someone.

He has a gorgeous big step, nice presence about him but a very nicely done, quiet ride. Ralph has three elastic paces on the flat, he rides big and gives you a great feeling, super comfortable and easy to ride, snaffle mouthed, not sharp, he will ride off your leg or voice, not sensitive or a worrier, just a nice relaxed, easy horse.

Ralph has plenty of scope, he isn’t remotely bothered by coloured fillers / rustic fences and will jump off any stride.

A nice, well started, uncomplicated and easy horse. He’s lightly hunted, done training shows SJ and XC schooled. Despite his age, he’s a gentleman to hack out alone and with friends, will pass all heavy and fast vehicles and doesn’t change in an open space, he’s Mr cool and anyone’s ride.

A lovely horse in the yard, laid back and easy. Open to any vet or trainer

Brave and bold to a fence , having done a few arena hires and popped round fillers and a little course. Good brain and enjoys her jumping.

We feel she would make a super Amatuers allrounder/eventer. She also has very good confirmation so could do well in the show ring. She is ROR eligible so there’s quite a lot of classes she could do.

Hacking alone she can be a little bit unsure so needs a confident rider.

16.2/3 Chestnut Gelding
Thoroughbred Ex-Racehorse
11 year old

This is a difficult decision as he is very much loved. Only for sale as struggling to give him the time he deserves and needs.

He has been very easy to retrain, been off the track for 3 years.
Have done plenty of hacking, will hack with and without company and will go first or last when in company.
He has done many hound exercises with the Readyfield Bloodhounds and 100% thrives off this, is great out on the field. Has jumped everything I have asked of him.
In the school he is still quite green, however with some training would do a lovely dressage test, has all the basics.
He loves his jumping. Been to many pole work clinics and XC hires. Doesn’t get razzed up and is always snaffled mouthed.
Lives in or out, herd or individual turnout.
Easy to catch, shoe, load and travel. Does need to be sedated for clipping as is ticklish.

Gorgeous homebred 16.1 chestnut mare. By DiMaggio out of a Carabas/Wolkenstein ii mare.

A mare with a great character and expression. She knows what she likes and knows what she doesn’t (clipping).

Lovely comfortable ride. Easy lateral work. Three impressive Balanced paces, incredible extended trot. Has previously had some in hand work, and shown super ability to p and p.

Competed successfully upto advanced medium, with excellent percentages. She has the potential to keep going up the ladder, be a school mistress for the lower levels, or be a great children on horses type. She is great to hack alone or in company too

Easy to take to a show and do yourself, I’ve always done that with her.

Non spooky type at shows.

Good doer, no vices. Lives in or out.

Sad sale. More homebreds up and coming

26 BE points, consistently placed at Novice level. Scope to progress further up the levels.

He is an all round genuine, kind character who would have a go at anything. Genuine to a fence, will take a miss.

Good to hack. Very easy to have around the yard and an absolute pleasure to take out and about.

He would hunt, team chase, dressage, show jump, event, working hunter etc. He is a very hard sort to find!

Would suit amateur, U18/young rider, or professional wanting to take him further up the levels.

We are reluctantly selling Cashmere (Crack), a 15-year-old, 17hh German Warmblood gelding with an impressive showjumping background. We purchased him earlier this year for our daughter, but with the demands of A-levels and her decision to step back from jumping, he now needs a loving new home.

Achievements & Experience:

Successfully jumped up to 130cm.
Competed at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, May 2025 and part of the team that won the International Challenge Trophy.

Temperament & Training - Cashmere is the perfect gentleman – kind, gentle, quiet, and easy to handle. Not strong at all, he is ideal for a rider seeking a safe, sensible, and well-trained horse.

He happily pops a few jumps for my daughter and is gentle enough for me (novice) to get back into the saddle.

He enjoys turnout during the day with two other geldings and is stabled overnight. He has three rhythmic, expressive paces and has been schooled to a high standard, making him a joy to ride in the arena.

Cash wants more than we can offer right now – he truly loves to jump, and that just isn’t where my daughter’s heart is anymore. To keep him would be for selfish reasons, as he is really a one-of-a-kind horse.

He would also complete a beautiful dressage test; his gentle temperament and elegant movement, combined with his jumping ability, make him an ideal eventing prospect for an experienced rider or a confident teenager ready to progress.

He hacks out happily in company but would benefit from more experience riding alone.

Cashmere has been living on a working farm and livery yard and is unfazed by farm machinery, tractors, and dogs.

Stands well for the farrier, dentist and vet and is up to date with everything. Doesn’t mind the clippers. He’s genuinely a solid, honest horse.

Loves to be pampered and would stand and snooze all morning whilst you groom him.

This is a sad sale – but we are over- horsed for what time we have available.

Cashmere deserves a loving home where he can continue to thrive and enjoy the work he loves most in the arena.

Suitable for a confident rider looking to progress showjumping or eventing. He’s the perfect school-master who has been elegantly trained to teach and grow together. Also suitable for a mother/daughter share.

He can also come with his fitted saddle, bridle, and/or rugs for an additional negotiated fee.

A real head-turner with three quality paces. Val is established in his lateral work, has a rhythmical, expressive way of going, giving someone a lovely feel. He is polite, relaxed and is an uncomplicated ride. Forward going but not strong and nicely responsive to the aids. Would excel in pure dressage. Regularly scoring high.

Val has a lovely personality & easy to deal with. He is super easy to take out in the lorry on your own to shows or lessons, hacks alone or in company on roads or open fields. Used to all traffic, buses, lorries, tractors. Good to clip/shoe/dentist etc. Up to date with vacs, teeth, farrier, physio etc. Open to any vetting, fit and ready to go.

Previously evented to BE novice however sadly in June 2024 he picked up a front suspensory injury. Following vetinary advice, he has been given all the time, care and rehab in the world and is now fit and ready to go on. I feel he is best suited to a dressage / low level all rounder home.

10* home only. This is an extremely heartbreaking sale as rider wants to event at higher levels.
