Quinn is a kind horse who always wants to please. He hunted last season with a 16yr old girl and has previously hunted in Ireland so he knows his job.

He is very mannerly on the field and will jump anything you put infront of him from any stride.

He has previously jumped BS up to 1.05 and trained around 1.10/1.20m with ease.

He has enjoyed long hacks (where he is unfazed by farm machinery, traffic ect.) ,beach rides, gallops and xc schooling where he was a joy to ride.

He is never sharp and is snaffle mouthed.

He does however have a slight nap at home but this is very manageable and not sharp or silly and doesn’t affect him out hunting.

only selling due to rider concentrating on showjumping

Gwenrowan Lad is a stunning Traditional Irish Horse (TIH- CP X ISH) with a temperament to match.

A yard favourite and has the potential to go to the top level in any discipline. Has given me my best days out winning multiple ribbons and sashes. Always so well mannered and is never phased in huge atmospheres including Dublin Horse Show, the Northern Ireland Festival and when out with the hounds.

Has been ridden by all ages and is a horse for the whole family to enjoy. Never stops and has absolutely no vices. Top marks in confirmation and rhythm and fluency on all outings, he has 3 gorgeous paces and has his flying changes.

A pleasure to work with and has been in the same home since he was a yearling.

Dozens of vides and pictures on request.

16.1hh, 12yr old ISH gelding by Ricardo Z out of Diane’s Cruise Clover bloodlines including Cruising.

3 established paces and flatwork. He has competed previously to 3*/Advanced Level Eventing and has done a few medium test out BD. Has jumped up to 1m30 in Ireland and has been evented by a small lady rider to novice level in current ownership.

Good to hack alone and in company and great in open spaces and traffic. Has been on hound exercise proving very mannerly. Good to shoe, box, clip, catch.

He is a forward going and a strong ride and this is the reason the owner has made the decision to part ways. With someone bigger and stronger there is the potential to step him back up to intermediate level or he would be a fantastic open team chase horse as he will jump across any country.

Not a novice ride purely because he is strong.

Lovely mare who’s well put together.

Done a little bit of everything: SJ, DR, HT, XC.

Hacks alone and in company.
Happy to go first or last.
Not been fazed by traffic.

Previously hunted in Ireland.

Very brave jumping and hacking, but green for her age on the flat. She has all the basics and is very willing.

No novices. Although she is a lovely, sweet, honest and kind pony, she can get tense when first mounted, especially in a new place. She has never done anything wrong, but she wouldn’t suit an inexperienced rider.

Very easy to look after in and out of the stable. Good to load and travel. Happy to be left on the box alone. No vices

Phillip - a super talented horse with world class breeding! From a line of 1.60 horses.

He’s a lovely big athletic horse with masses of scope! He’s definitely a contender to jump the big classes in the future!

He is one of the kindest and genuine horses to deal with and has a really sweet nature.

He’s riding well in the arena, snaffle mouthed and a lovely mover.

He is a lovely blank canvas for someone to produce on up the ranks, has jumped around a couple of training courses proving to be very genuine and talented.

A big rangey horse that’s still got plenty of filling out to do. He hacks out on his own or with company and has been super in traffic.

He does have a couple of super tiny sarcoids which will be easily treated and makes a slight noise, none of this will affect his potential and gives an opportunity for someone to acquire a top class horse on a budget.

Happy to hack alone or in company

Quiet, genuine, and incredibly easy to do in every way, Peppa would suit a competent amateur, a teenager moving off ponies, or a mother–daughter share looking for a safe, fun, and confidence-giving ride. She’s the sort you don’t find often - she's talented but forgiving, sensible yet fun.

Peppa has evented up to 1m (BE100), competed in showjumping and arena cross-country, and has plenty of Pony Club experience. She loves her job, especially jumping - she’s scopey, honest, and really takes care of her rider. Hunted in a previous home.

She hacks alone and in company, is great in traffic, and is not spooky. Brilliant to handle (good to shoe, clip, load, travel, etc).

Only for sale as her teenage rider is moving on to other interests. She’ll make someone incredibly happy - horses like this don’t come around often!

Bobby is a striking 15hh 11 year old cob x tb who I've had and produced since he was 5, now looking for a new home as I'm going to University. He has done a bit of everything - pony club camps, showjumping, dressage, hunter trials, and team chasing - and would most likely make a brilliant hunter!

Bold, brave, and scopey jumper that regularly places, competing at 80cm, but has schooled around 90-100cm at home. 3 good paces on the flat.

Not spooky or silly, bombproof in traffic, and well behaved in open spaces. Great to hack both alone and in company. More 'woah' than 'go'.

Has been ridden by little kids and recently went to a school for a War Horse display!

Easy to handle, catch, load, shoe etc. Fitted saddle and tack available. Many more pictures / videos available!

Would be an ideal horse for a teenager wanting to go out and have fun whilst staying safe - a mother's dream!

Lovely horse with a great personality that will be sorely missed.

A super smart young horse who’s got a real old head on young shoulders.

3 good straight paces. Super careful jump.

Has quietly hunted through the winter with the Mendip farmers and has proved to be good with hounds, well behaved at the meet and throughout the day jumping whatever is put in front of him. He’s now done 1 training event & some arena eventing.

Has been produced quietly with the future in mind.

Good to hack in open fields & on the roads in traffic. Good to do in all ways.

Would be a super kind horse for an experienced amateur to produce.

Please no novices & nervouses as he’s still a big baby.

This was a really tough decision, and through no fault of his own and totally mine thinking I’d have enough time to bring on a youngster alongside this lad, for sale is my lovely gorgeous boy Eddie, he’s a 7 year old 16.3 TB - ROR eligible, ex pointer, however not raced into the ground - did 2 point races in Ireland and came 2nd and 3rd (so he can jump 1.30 with ease), then two hurdle races in England and pulled up both times (not injured, I’ve watched the races and he just looks like he’s having a Jolly rather than running a race) so only raced 4 times and started career late so not over worked too young.

Ed would make a fantastic team chaser (which is what I bought him for) not strong - I can gallop with control one handed, big bold brave jump, did his first fun ride in spring and was excited but still very manageable - excellent at boundary fences but may need some work on island fences which I haven’t been able to do much of due to ground being so hard.

I bought him from the field after a year off after finishing racing, so mainly been retraining to be a riding horse, he’s proven to be intelligent and eager/quick to learn, and can now go off and do a job. Ed has been ridden by a novice and looked after her beautifully, he’s a very chilled boy hacking, but needs to progress in his education as is still a bit green and has his typical TB quirks so not for a novice owner.

Very kind, friendly and loving on the ground. Good for farrier. Rides out alone or with company. EXCELLENT in traffic, rides along main road with lorries passing etc. Clean limbed. Lived out in winter, and his field companion is a mare. Keeps his weight well.

Will make someone a fantastic horse and if I had more time (and money!) I would keep him in a heartbeat.

Serious enquiries only as this is a hard enough decision as it is, and as I’ve said I don’t have endless time.

16.2hh, rising 7 yo dutch bred gelding. Top 10 every time out. Double clear machine with potential to go all the way.

Joey (Nanders RS) has been slowly produced on a private family yard and his record speaks for himself. He finished his first season eventing (BE 90 and BE 100) having never been out of the Top 10. He improved every time out, culminating with 2nd in his first BE 100.

He’s yet to have a jumping penalty and consistently achieves 20s or low 30s for dressage. Joey is not strong or silly. He does everything in the same bit (inc.hunting) and is ridden by an amateur female.

Over the winter he was regularly attending winter training clinics, unaffiliated Showjumping, and hunting. On Christmas Eve he went hedge hopping with the Cotswold at their Foxcote meet and can be clearly see in many of their videos.

He is straightforward and easy at home and away. Joey’s a keen learner who loves his job. Video below shows him competing so you can see how calm and willing he is.

He’s affectionate, good with children and animals and a lovely boy all round. We live on a farm next to a busy A road so he's ridden in heavy traffic every day and not fussed by tractors, lorries etc.

Significant rider injury (not caused by Joey!) forces his sale. With us, he’ll miss the entire 25/26 season which is criminal at his age and stage. We hoped to at least catch the tail end of the season but Doctors have vetoed any competitions this year.

His sale is all the sorer because we’re primarily a hunting yard but we’d made an exception for him because he’s so exciting. This change of circumstances has made him impossible to justify.

Undoubtedly he is a competition horse with a big future ahead of him. Would suit an ambitious amateur or a professional.

Evie is a beautiful quality mare.

Easy to do in every why. Catch, load ( trailer or lorry) lives in or out. Happy with mares or gelding’s or on her own.

Has been looked after by my 14 year old daughter with no problems. Riding on her own, loading her into the trailer, catching her.

She loves fun rides where she will jump everything. Been trail hunting with my daughter and was great.

Evie however doesn’t want to compete anymore so would not suit a pony club home, hence this reluctant sale.

She is excellent with the vet, farrier and goes to sleep when clipped!

She has some past health issues which I am willing to discuss.

Sad genuine sale of a very much loved horse.

Connemara x TB (registered TIH) brought over from Ireland by current ower as a 4yo, backed and produced. Since a 4yo he has led a varied life including:

- Dressage as a youngster up to Novice, however he does not respond well to a lot of arena-based flat schooling, he can become switched off and for this reason he is not suited to a dressage home.

- Hunted as a 5-7yo - diferent horse out hunting, but always has brakes. Jumped rails, small-mid hedges and ditches. Excellent on his feet and TB stamina really comes in.

- Unaffiliated SJ up to 95 inc wins and qualifications.

- Unaffiliated eventing up to 90 with placings and always 20s dressage.

- LOTS of hacking, on & off road, varying terrains and environments.

- Fun rides

- Lots of beach trips - very sane and sensible

- Couple of workers classes both placed - with an owner who has no clue on this side!

He has done a substantial amount more training miles than competitive due to owner; he regularly XC schooled and easily jumps a clear at a good 90 standard (used to be based up North with access to Somerford etc). Regular lessons and clinics particularly for SJ, gridwork very well established and was regularly training at 1.10. Lots of pole work; he's very agile and careful with his feet.

At 8yo he moved south with owner and stopped competing. He has been on loan for a few months, teaching a 15yo girl how to jump, taking her to her first competition which was a HT, where he went clear for 2nd and a qualification. For the immediate last 6 months he has only hacked with the occasional school session.

Having previously given him time off over the winter I know he does not take much at all to fitten up, he can come back to jumping a little green at first but quickly picks back up into a routine.

In terms of vet history this is minimal for a 10yo who has had a life - he has had a few visits for kicks (as they do!), with none requiring further treatment. When on loan he had an abscess, and following box rest for this he presented a little stiff behind. Vet attended and suspected a mild strain in the (then very muddy) field which had stiffened due to standing in. Whilst no further investigation was needed, he was insured and so for peace of mind he had stifles & sacrilliac medicated; this was a one off, with no ongoing condition. He does have a dust allergy, just requiring proper management (no medication). Happy to share all vet records.

Looking for the absolute best of homes which will be vetted, he is only for sale as owner has lost motivation for anything other than the odd hack (nothing at all to do with the horse - giving up completely) and does not have the time to dedicate to him 1-1 that he deserves. He would be best suited to either a mature rider or competent teen who wants to just go out and have fun. See point above on flat schooling - he really is not suited to a home where this is the primary focus.
Owner would love to keep in touch and have first refusal if he were ever to be sold on.

He is an absolute gentleman on the ground and can be handled by anyone. Good to box, travel, clip, shoe. The only thing he doesnt like is a dental. Happily lives out although is not a good doer, also happy if part stabled but he does need all year turnout.

He is priced realistically for a lovely quality horse who is always a yard favourite, recognising that he has been 'out of the game' recently. Tack and wardrobe available by separate negotiation. He can be viewed on sales livery in West Sussex (contact number is for sales yard)

Professionally backed last year as a 4 yr old, then turned away, brought back into work this spring. He is a good learner and has come on in leaps and bounds over the last 4 months.

Currently working nicely on the flat in a good outline, lateral work established. He has done pole work.

Has started popping a small course. He has hacked around the farm and on the stubble fields on his own and been on the roads around the village along side another horse.

Excellent temperament, easy to do, lives on a working farm so great with tractors, farm machinery, cows, goats, dogs etc. Been on an indoor training clinic. loads/travels well.

This is a totally un spoilt, well started 5 yr old, ready to carry on his career and has potential to do any job.

Uno – A True Gentleman Looking for His Next Partner
Uno is a stunning 17.2hh Selle Français gelding with impeccable breeding – by Nartago and out of a Kalou Du Levant mare. He’s every inch the gentle giant, with the talent and temperament to match.

Before joining our family, Uno competed at 1.30m–1.40m level in Ireland and France with a teenage rider, where he was consistently competitive. With us, he has been a once-in-a-lifetime horse for our daughter – taking her from ponies (a 12.2!) straight into horses with kindness, patience, and endless heart.

The Ultimate All-Rounder (But No Novice Ride)
Uno is bold, brave, and incredibly safe, but he is not a novice ride. He would excel in a competitive show jumping or hunting home with a confident and capable rider who can make the most of his scope and experience.

Our daughter hacks him alone for hours – he’s foot-perfect and always brings her home safely. He’s also lovely in company, and has done:

Beach rides

Cross country

Pony Club, Riding Club, Pleasure rides

And would make an outstanding hunt master’s horse – brave, careful, and beautifully mannered on the ground

Uno is truly a gentle giant

Easy to handle, loves a fuss

Good to clip (just a little ear-sensitive)

Excellent with farrier, vet, and dentist

Loads in to our wagon and travels like a dream and stands quietly all day. He turns out in a herd or on his own and is happy to be brought in first or last, he loves other horses and is a friendly chap.

What He’s Given Us
Uno has taken our daughter from 80cm to confidently jumping 1.10m courses. He’s brave and unfazed by fillers, water trays, open water, he’ll take on anything you point him at.

The Right Home
We feel it’s time for Uno to go back to doing what he loves jumping at a higher level with a more experienced rider, or becoming someone’s dream hunting partner. This is a very sad sale of a much loved family member, so 5* home is absolutely essential.

Hacks out along and in company and use to busy farm machinery.

He has attended hunt meets with children.

Ridden by nervous children in open spaces and has never put a foot wrong.

He has xc schooled and jumped over coloured poles at arena hires and clear rounds. He has attended fun rides and various pony club activities. He attended the Cotswold Vale Pony Club camp week this year, where he took it all in his stride.

He makes a nice shape with his flat work and I am sure he will excel in the show ring.

He is good to do in all ways and is a lovely character to have around.

Only for sale as he was bought as a just backed 3 year old and has now achieved everything. He’s ready to find his forever home.
