Purebred Irish Draught Filly – Well-Handled & Show-Ring Quality

A quality purebred Irish Draught filly with excellent movement, plenty of bone and substance, and a straight, correct conformation.

She is halter broken and leads quietly, used to handling, will stand tied, be groomed and bathed, and picks up all four feet. She is up to date with farrier and worming and will be registered in a green book with full breeding recorded.

Please note: the dam was never graded, so the filly is not eligible for grading.

Deicin Alderfan Supreme is a black yearling colt (gelding can be arranged). Alfie is a lovely chap to have around the yard and proven a real easy going sensible boy. He is very affectionate and will make a real quality ridden gelding in the future. Alfie has lovely strong bone with correct straight movement.

His Dam Dali Lulabelle, is by ALDERFARN VII who is by Trakehner sire ELVIS, who was a very sporting stallion, leaving Germany as a Graded showjumper and was Graded SHG(GB) before commencing his Stud duties in the UK. All his progeny share his great talent for jumping.
His mother KARINA was extremely well bred, with the Shagya-Arab DAHOMAN IX on her father side and the English Thoroughbred MARTEN XX on her mother side.

Lulabelle is out of Dali Solstice (Hazevern Darcey Bussell x Danaway Desert Storm) Darcey is an extremely well bred Irish Draught mare by the stallion Mount Diamond Flag / Flagmount Diamond / King Of Diamonds - a line that is known for it's vast influence on the ID breeding, with it's many Olympic/World Champions to include Special Envoy and Millstreet Ruby. Available due to reducing my own numbers, my 2023 warmblood x ID gelding; Reggie (Kingseys Classic)

Reggie combines absolutely outstanding movement which he has inherited from his dam with outstanding bone which he has inherited from his sire. Both sire and dam have incredible jumping ability and my goal when I bred him was to breed a top class horse worker for myself for the future and I have bred exactly that.
Unfortunately my attentions have been redirected towards the native ponies and therefore I’m not going to get to enjoy him myself, but hope to find somebody who will.

Away from showing, he will do well in any competitive sphere. His dam could turn her hand to anything…could be ridden/hacked by a 12yo child, then take my mother to the beach, then go showjumping 1.10+ with me prior to a freak accident which unfortunately resulted in her early retirement to stud.

He was a late foal (July) so I haven’t begun backing him yet as I feel he still needs more time to mature. He has however been mouthed, had tack on and walked around on the lunge a couple of times, all of which he has taken in his stride.

Happy living in or out, he’s well handled, good to load and travel, good with farrier, clippers, up to date with vaccs and is booked in to have his teeth done for the first time.

This outstanding and so handsome boy was bought by us as a foal at Dublin Show when he was on his dam. He then continued to show before joining us here in the UK and was Irish National ID Champion Foal.

As a Yearling he had most of the year off and came back to do 3 shows Dunster where he was Champion Hunter and ID then onto the Nationals where he won the yearlings then onto the Welsh Winter Fair ( shown as a Sports Horse ) where he was 3 rd out of 29 entries.

As a 2 year old he was Champion at New Forest, won a large class at Royal Cornwall and went on to be National ID Youngstock Champion

He is stunning and our plan was to present him to grading next year and stand him at stud AI and do some shows with him
But i am wanting to back out of breeding and i am enjoying doing pony things with my grandson and realised at my advancing years I can’t do it all and this boy is way way to good to be stood around.

He is a chap that is full of character and is very loveable. He has been sat on and couldnt be bothered less!!!!

We really feel he will be an outstanding future sire like his before him and certainly deserves and has the quality to do the job.

Lives in the middle of a very busy farm next to the tractor workshop and is very used to every bit of traffic

Silveroak Deerhunter is a 2025 colt foal bred at Silveroak Irish Draught Stud.

To say that this foal is exceptional would be an understatement. Hunter is calm, sensible and kind. Probably the kindest foal that I have ever known. He loves people and he loves fuss and attention, and he is very well handled. He will mature to become a very valuable horse, as his type are hard to find. He has very good bone, moves beautifully and he will fast become someone's very best friend.

Hunter is beautifully bred from some of the very rarest of Irish Draught bloodlines. His dam was bought from a private stud in Ireland, directly from her breeder. She is also an exceptionally quiet and kind mare, and she comes from some of the very best bloodlines including Powerswood Gladiator (grandson of Ben Purple) and Blue Champion. Hunters sire was carefully chosen for his type and also his very rare and beautiful breeding.

Hunter has excellent confirmation. He is correct and straight with good bone. His sire is 15.1hh and his dam is just a smidge over 15.2hh. He should hopefully stay relatively small and as such be a very good potential show cob or small Hunter. To find a purebred Irish Draught of this type and size is literally like hens teeth. It is very rare.

I am quite sure that this young foal will make an exceptional show horse of Hoys standard. However he would also be a perfect all rounder for someone wanting a smaller but good, solid Irish Draught.

I bred Hunter hoping for a filly to keep. I have his full brother here at the stud, due to his quality and type he is being retained as a potential stallion but sadly I can’t keep both. The dam and full brother can be seen here at the stud.

Hunter has been raised carefully. He has not been over fed with hard feed to ensure that his joints are not pushed and he is an absolute pleasure to deal with in every way.

He is available to a kind and permanent home.

We breed quality and very kind foals here at Silveroak with the intentions of finding them a home for life. He will be very easy to deal with and he will be ideal I think for someone who wants a quiet, sensible horse.
