Sire Nector vd Bisschop, interestingly bred with Heartbreaker and Darco in his pedigree, jumped 1.55m at the GCT in Cannes in June with Lorenzo De Luca.

Dam Monablesse of Ballmore (Nabab de Reve x Heartbreaker x Ramiro Z) is known as the half-sister of the 1.55m Grand Prix horse Leopard of Ballmore with Zsófia Vandor (HUN) and showjumping horses at 1.45m, 1.30m and 1.25m level.

Granddam Elodie van ’t Gestelhof is a half-sister of the CCI3* eventing horse Capri van ’t Gestelhof and four showjumping horses at 1.30m up to 1.45m level. This line also produced the stallion Jasper van ‘t Gestelhof (1.60m GP with Kent Farrington), Orcade van ’t Gestelhof (1.55m GP) and Kobe of Ballmore (1.50m).

FS Mayday Duchess, known at home as Darcy, is a stunning 16.1hh 4-year-old homebred mare who oozes presence and quality. Beautifully put together, with plenty of blood and scope, she always catches the eye wherever she goes.

Darcy was broken and produced this year and has just started her British Showjumping career — showing huge promise for the future. She is the perfect type to continue up the showjumping ranks or to develop into a top eventing prospect.

BE Grass roots horse of dreams! This is a very sad sale due to my broken neck, otherwise he would not be on the market as I bought him to have fun with myself but won’t be riding for quite some time and can’t even drive the lorry and he’s going to waste! He really is a dream horse and should be someone’s number one!

Banjo is a super chap, he has evented BE 90 with very good record, more than enough scope to go on, massive stride and incredibly brave, gives his rider lots of confidence XC and loves it. He will be the ultimate grass roots contender but is sure to go beyond this with a competitive rider, he’s quick, careful and clever and combined with jumping ability is beautifully schooled on the flat with super paces and is very trainable.

He knows basic lateral work and does a change no problem. He would make an outstanding 151cm WHP. Whatever this chap ends up doing he will do to top level.

He has show jumped to 1.10 in Ireland with a v good record as a 148cm, we have lightly competed him here as a 148cm pony BS with inexperienced 12 year old boy riding but no guarantee he will measure in as he is tall! To show jump he’s brave, careful and very talented, should he measure in there is no doubt he would be a top track pony. He has 198 BS points £223 act. He has two 148cm measurements in Ireland. He needs a competent, quiet and competitive rider to get the best out of him.

Banjo has been having a bit of fun hunting with me, he’s been out with both local drag and foxhound packs again proving himself to be a lot of fun, jumping absolutely anything asked and being a very good boy. He is the type that’s reliable enough to do a bit of everything and happy to drop down to do a bit of pony club, take a family member hunting, hack out etc. he hacks out very well both alone and in company and is good in traffic.

He’s easy to handle, catch, box, shoe, needs sedation for clipping as isn’t a fan but So easy to do everything else with I forgive him!

“Sunny” is a beautifully put-together gelding with a wonderful temperament and a super attitude to life. Homebred by ourselves, he’s been slowly and carefully produced and is now confidently jumping up to Foxhunter level. Despite giving him plenty of time to see if he’d sharpen up, he remains delightfully laid-back — which makes him an absolute dream to handle, but not quite the sharp type we prefer for our string.

He’s brave and straightforward in the arena, well-mannered at home and at shows, and behaves impeccably on the ground. He’s also been cross-country schooling and took everything in his stride — calm, willing, and genuine throughout.

On the flat, he works correctly with three good paces and established changes. Out hacking, he’s good as gold — he might pretend to be spooky now and then, but never in a naughty way.

Sunny has no vices or medical issues, is sound, and open to any vetting. He’s happily ridden by a range of riders, from more experienced to less confident, and is the same genuine chap for all of them.

His older siblings are out competing and winning at higher levels — they’ve simply inherited a bit more “go”! We think Sunny could make a lovely all-rounder, hunter, or amateur’s competition horse, and we’d love to find him his perfect forever home where his easy-going nature will be appreciated.
