Winnie is by world class 1.60 stallion Emir R, known for his incredible scope, reflexes and durability. He consistently passes his athletic ability, top-class jumping technique, and rideability onto his progeny, who are highly sought after for both high-level show jumping (reaching up to 1.60m+) and eventing (up to CCI4*-S level). Known for producing athletes with excellent paces and a naturally careful, powerful jump they inherit a trainable, lovely mind, making them competitive but manageable for riders.
Emir R is by Colman was one of the most influential Holsteiner breeding stallions of the modern era. Born in 1996, he is by the Olympic showjumping stallion Carthago Z and out of Rosenquarz by Lord, creating a pedigree rooted in some of the strongest Holsteiner jumping bloodlines.
Winnie’s dam was a successful jumper herself and is by Il Est Balou, whom jumped successfully under Albert Zoer before being sold as a six year old to the USA. His sire Balou du Rouet ranks among the world’s leading show jumping and eventing sires (WBFSH ranking: top 15 in show jumping, top 10 in eventing for five consecutive years). His influence is proven through international championship medals and Grand Prix success.
Following her bloodlines, Winnie oozes quality. She is well put together and beautiful to look at. She floats across the floor with 3 expressive paces, over a fence she is quick off the floor, careful and scopey. She is blood & brave enough to event, or moves well enough for pure dressage.
She is very sweet natured & friendly with a gentle temperament. She was lightly backed last year and did hack down country lanes. She is well handled, loads and travels well, good to turnout and catch, trim for farrier etc. Winnie is very sadly for sale due to a change in circumstances, whilst with us we will continue her education and begin ridden work again, we are more than happy to produce further if she is what you’re looking for in your next partner.
