Very sad sale due to my daughter leaving for university. The right knowledgeable and loving home is our absolute priority for Rosie, as she is an incredibly special and much-loved horse.

Rosie took my daughter from her first pony at age 13 and over the last 5 years has helped transform her into the confident rider she is today. She has taught her so much and owes us absolutely nothing.

She is a striking, athletic mare with flashy paces and plenty of presence, who turns heads wherever she goes. She is naturally forward going and responsive, with a huge engine, big stride and plenty of scope. She thrives with a confident rider who enjoys riding this type of engine power and wants to have fun.

Rosie has a successful BS record with her previous owners, regularly winning classes up to 1.10m, and comfortably schools over 1.20m at home with us. We have mainly done hacking, lessons, Pony Club rallies and three Pony Club camps, where she was awarded Pony of the Camp. We have done lots of cross-country schooling and the occasional hunter trial, which she loves. We haven't competed extensively simply because it wasn't our passion, but she has all the talent and ability for someone who wants to. She has also hunted previously and would no doubt enjoy doing so again. Our instructor describes her as having ‘clever feet’ who can always find her own stride.

On the ground, Rosie is a pleasure to have around. She is easy to catch, handle and travel, excellent for the vet and dentist, and loads happily into both trailers and lorries. She is regularly handled by our smaller children at the yard. She can be a little fidgety for clipping and shoeing, but with a patient approach she is fine and does not require sedation.

She is exceptionally well-mannered at rallies and competitions, standing quietly and never becoming silly or fizzy around other horses. In the five years we have owned her, she has never required a veterinary visit for illness or injury.

Rosie enjoys hacking both alone and in company. She prefers company on the roads and benefits from a confident rider when hacking solo, but she is sensible with farm machinery, dogs, livestock and open spaces.

Currently lives in overnight and out during the day in colder months and out 24/7 in warmer months. Happily lives in mixed herds but prefers to company in the field and not out on her own.

PLS Coconuts is a much-loved 12-year-old, 15.2hh Irish Sport Horse dun mare out of River Casanova and PLS Crosses Mare with an outstanding competition record and the kindest temperament.

A sort hard to find, Coco is the ultimate first horse for a child coming off ponies or a small adult looking for a genuine, talented all-rounder. She has competed up to 2* but can step down to work up through the levels with a new rider. Over the past three seasons she has taken my daughter from never having evented to competing successfully at BE Novice level, giving her confidence and experience every step of the way. She knows her job, looks after her rider with agile strides where needed and can turn in a super dressage test.

A Grade 2 eventer with 27 BE points and 101 Foundation points she has placed in BE up to 2* with recent wins at 100cm and 105cm. She represented the Under-18 100cm Central Team at the Regional British Eventing Championships in both 2025 and 2026. In addition she has won and placed in NSEA Arena Eventing up to 1.05m and NSEA Showjumping up to 1.10m: she qualified for the NSEA Hickstead Elite 1.10m SJ Championship, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the extreme heat in July. In addition my daughter has had great fun with her doing NSEA dressage, British Showjumping up to 1.05m, Pony club and camps.

At home and away, Coco is everything you could wish for. She is a delightful, jaunty hack, whether alone or in company, is sociable, sensible and kind, and has impeccable manners both on the ground and under saddle. She is easy to catch, clip, shoe, load, and travel, with no stable vices.

Coco is a genuine confidence-giver with a huge heart. She is safe, forgiving, fun and given us the most incredible memories. We are parting with her reluctantly because my daughter is going to university and giving up eventing.

Freddie is a stunning stamp of an Irish Sports Horse with a striking Palamino coat. A real rare type that doesn’t come along often! Standing at 15.2hh.

He has the most amazing temperament, everyone who meets him falls in love and he would happily stand around for a fuss and cuddles all day! He is very easy to handle and is regularly looked after by my parents.

He has been produced slowly with his future in mind, and has been taken out sj and XC schooling along with fun rides; proving to be bold and sensible. He loves to jump and improves with every outing. A fun forward ride, but always snaffle mouthed. Recently attended a dressage show where judges commented on how much potential he had with his paces.

He is excellent to hack both alone and in company, I am based on a main road and he is brilliant in all kinds of traffic and also in open spaces.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and has regular physio. Good to load and with farrier (is currently barefoot).

A heartbreaking sale of a mare who has been part of our family for the past four years.

Dressage

My mum has mainly concentrated on dressage with her, with numerous wins at Preliminary and Novice level and consistent scores over 70%.

Side saddle

Won every junior side saddle class she contested in 2022 — Show of the East, NIF, Royal Meath Show (and Champion) and the Armagh Intermediate RDS qualifier. Won the side saddle at Clifden in 2022 and was 4th in 2023 and 2026. Reserve in the Intermediate Side Saddle at the RDS in 2023.

Working Hunter

3rd and the highest placed mare in the Working Hunter at Clifden in 2022. 4th in the 153 WH at Balmoral in 2022, and 5th and 6th in the Festival M&M and 153 WHP at Northern Ireland Festival the same year. Competed in the 153 WH at the RDS in 2023, finishing 10th with a pole. Has jumped up to 1.10m.

Dublin Horse Show

Won her performance qualifier in the 5–7yo section in 2021 and finished 6th in the final, top of the poles. Followed up with a 2nd and a 3rd in the older performance section qualifiers in 2022 and 2023. 3rd in her ridden qualifier this year and went super on the day at Dublin.

Combined Training

Qualified for the RDS in the Pony Club Combined Training and finished 4th.

She is incredibly easy to have around — lives in or out, easy to box, shoe and clip, and just gets on with everything. Super to hack, alone or in company.

Lily would make the most wonderful mother/daughter share, or an allrounder for someone who wants a genuine, experienced mare that can be competitive but is also a pleasure to enjoy every day.

An awesome and buzzy chestnut mare that loves her work and is looking for a rider to match her enthusiasm. Foxy has competed up to 1m with scope to go higher, she gives an unbelievable feeling making no jump feel too big. Foxy hasn’t been registered with BS so is perfect to do bronze league and other qualifiers on starting from 0 points.

Foxy has also competed in hunter trials & XC schooled, she is completely un-phased by fillers/water/steps/owl holes etc, ditches need a little bit of work! She is honest and genuine, really wants to get to the other side of the fence, so will take a miss without holding it against you.

Foxy hacks out 4 days a week on her own in Bedgebury forest therefore used to children, dogs, bikes etc. She will occasional do an excitable leap if you really buzz her up, but nothing that would unseat the standard of rider that would be looking to buy her. She is snaffle mouthed for everything.

Foxy is super easy to handle, she comes in the field when you call her, loves to be groomed, and is the type that would climb into your pocket if you let her, she’s that friendly.

With every great chestnut mare comes a few bits that you’ll have to learn to love -

* She has occasionally been known to rear. It happens so rarely that most sellers wouldn’t mention it, but I feel important to add. It’s only happened 3 times since I bought her in January. I am happy to discuss the scenarios that caused it.

* She had grade 3 ulcers when I bought her, likely caused by being brought over from Ireland, these have since been treated and scoped clear with no signs of returning. Vet report available.

* Wears a red ribbon at shows as she’s not a fan of horses riding really close/up her bum! Hasn’t ever kicked, just used as a precaution to keep her happy.

Up to date with absolutely everything - teeth, saddle, physio, vaccinations etc, no expense has been spared on her.
