Cadiz is a striking young gelding with world-class breeding, sired by the renowned Casino Grande. Imported from Germany as a youngster, he combines presence, trainability, and talent in equal measure.

A true gentleman, Cadiz is easy to do in every way – excellent to catch, lead to and from the field, groom, farrier ,tack up, bath, load, and travel.no stable vices He passed a full 5 stage vetting as a yearling.

Cadiz spent 8 weeks with a professional breaker, where his education was introduced slowly and sympathetically. He is confidently established in walk and trot, has started some canter work, and has been long-reined, lunged, and led over poles. He has also been lightly hacked on quiet back roads, proving to be bold, brave, and straightforward.

He has been loose jumped a couple of times with us (videos available on request ) and immediately showed outstanding scope, careful technique, and huge airtime. With the right production, he has everything required to excel in showjumping.

He would also excel in any disaplince he is asked to do he has very willing attitude

With his pedigree and talent shown so far with correct production Cadiz is an outstanding young horse for the future.

Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 6 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 3 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Would like to start doing more dressage, so something that knows the basics.

I do enjoy the odd fun ride with a friend so would be nice if I can do this without the horse jogging the entire way or running off when another horse comes past. (Had many of these type of horses when I was younger, my body was more able back then)

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not too spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Height - 15.2hh to 16.3hh

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

Ideally looking to buy from a private home, someone who has had their horse for a while and knows a lot of history.

Horse must be open to vet and vet history.

Lovely grassroots eventer/riding club type

Small and athletic build, doesn’t ride too big. Three good paces and always scores well on the flat, could turn his hand to pure dressage and be successful. Light and even in the contact and not heavy in the hand.

Has his own technique over a fence but is careful with it, polite to a fence and doesn’t pull. Very good BE record with lots of double clears and top 10s at BE90 and 100 level, with also a win this season. Has only done a few events this year due to riders broken wrist, but will get a couple events in before the season ends.

Very good to hack, happy alone or in company. Easy to have around on the yard, will live out at night or stay in. Enjoys his work but doesn’t need riding every day. Good to shoe, clip, load etc

Only for sale as we don't really have time for him. Produced slowly and been out and about unaffiliated dressage, show jumping and arena eventing when we have had time. He is quite used to being picked up and put down again!

Full disclosure - he had some foot balance issues which have now been resolved with making sure he has good heel support. He went out on loan locally where he didn't do much apart from a lot of hacking and some farm rides as I wanted to make sure he was okay before trying to find him a new home.

Ideal mother daughter share - will perk up or dumb down depending on who is riding him.

Really easy to do - good to clip, shoe, etc.
