He would also knock the judges' eyes out as a show horse as his conformation is faultless and his movement is dead straight - also he he is a real show off with tremendous ring presence and 'look at me' expression.

Good on the road with all traffic expect the heaviest and fastest lorries - alone or in company. Good to clip and with the farrier. Travels like a saint, stands in the lorry all day and doesn't fret in the lorry even if his mates are taken out. This is a really top class horse and we want the best home for him.

Kind, polite and gentle Sid is a smart little horse with nice paces, and a particularly floaty trot. He has been lunged and long lined, confidently leads in hand and from a horse over the forest and on roads. Happy in tack.

Loads and travels well, he has travelled regularly before me and done a few arena hire trips with me. I also took him to an in hand show and he behaved impeccably.

Stands beautifully at a mounting block. Happy to be leant over.

Lives out 24/7, he is a good doer. But also happy in a stable. Has been out with mares, geldings and alone. Is also sometimes left alone in the field (with horses next door) while others are ridden.

This is a horse that was bred locally and that no one has a bad word to say about. - A friendly people person, generally wants to be with you and involved in whatever you’re doing.

- Great with the farrier, has always been barefoot and regularly trimmed, up to date with this.
- Great with the vet, up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming. Wolf teeth removed a couple of years ago.
- Fine in her stable and with being left whilst others go out.
- Easy to catch: has always come to call, follows you around the field.
- Confident with new experiences & takes things in her stride.
- Kind with children, good with dogs (has been used to lots of dogs since I’ve had her).
- Not phased by machinery and tractors (we had lots of work done on the yard whilst she was a baby and she was super interested in watching it all).

- She’s backed & riding away very sensibly but hasn’t been out to shows / seen much of the world yet.
- I’ve never clipped her or bathed her, I don’t think she’d have a problem with either (she’s had the back of clippers all over her whilst on with no issues) but she’s never done it.
- She’s an inexperienced traveller because I’ve never had transport.
- She’s got a very tiny cold splint that has never caused any issues, from hooning around being a youngster on lots of land in the spring last year.

Loads, leads, stables if required, is good for the farrier and vet (he didn't even flinch for the huge cannula needle for castration last autumn). In all honesty I think you could happily pop a saddle and bridle on him tomorrow and he wouldn't mind.

She travels well, behaves impeccably at events, and thrives in a competitive environment.

In the interest of complete honesty, this mare is not a novice ride. She is extremely buzzy and likes to get on with the job. Not nasty, but she would suit very few children coming off ponies.
