Dream is an absolutely gorgeous 16h bay roan 4 year old Connemara x ISH alrounder gelding.

Dream is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. He is very well bred registered ISH being half Connemara and half ISH, he has his full breeding recorded with 5 generations of pedigree. He is a gorgeous unique bay roan with a silver mane and tail and really stands out from the crowd. He has a very handsome head with a kind eye that just draws people to him. He is a super stamp and a lovely desirable size so would suit both teenagers coming off ponies as well as adults alike; making him a super mother/daughter share. He has excellent conformation, clean limbs, is blemish free and has straight movement. He would excel in the show ring in working hunter clases. He is like an over grown Labrador with a very generous “can do” willing attitude that he brings to everything he does. He is more like a 5/6 year old as has an old head on young shoulders and is very much the definition of “straightforward”.

Dream has three super paces and works nicely on the flat. He has a very soft snaffle mouth with a lovely contact feel. He works correctly between leg and hand into a soft outline. He is a lovely medium speed to ride where you can nicely get your leg on him but you haven’t got to keep nagging. He is not at all sharp or hot, he is very level headed and sensible. He makes you feel confident and safe. He is a very good boy to ride with no ridden vices; people can’t believe he is 4 as he is better behaved than most 8 year olds. He would suit lots of riders a she is straightforward but I wouldn’t like him to go to a novice as he is still young and isn’t the finished product just yet. I just think he deserves a rider who knows what they are doing. He is a very easy youngster who has had the correct start and would be easy enough for a competent teen coming off ponies or amateur to produce further. He has such a lovely attitude to his work and is a quick learner who always has a smile on his face. He has been out to a few unaffiliated dressage competitions in Ireland where he was well placed. He has the potential to excel in dressage at riding club and affiliated level.

Dream loves his jumping and makes a lovely shape over a fence. He is very honest and genuine to jump. He doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is nice and brave and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. He is lovely and rideable around a course of jumps, maintaining his rhythm. He has been out to compete in sj and arena eventing in Ireland, where he won a Horse Sport Ireland arena eventing competition at 80cm. He has been jumping around 90cm at arena hires with plenty of scope to step up to 1m. He is very good to ride at new places and has a very good attitude to his jumping with a lovely adjustable canter.

He is equally as bold over xc jumps. He proved very straight forward and easy to ride jumping everything asked of him including going through the water. He nicely takes you into the jumps but isn’t at all strong, always in a snaffle, very polite. I can see him really excelling as an eventer or top end riding club horse as he is brilliant at all 3 disciplines. He would make a super Badminton grass roots prospect.

Dream is super to hack alone and in company. He is good in traffic and confident in his own skin. If a large lorry or tractor comes past we just stand in a driveway and let him look at it but he’s a very good boy. He is brilliant in open spaces, very sane and sensible. He is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order on an easy rein. He has been on pleasure rides which he loves and is so much fun. He has also hunted on several occasions last season in Ireland where he took it all in his stride. He would be very well suited to someone wanting to combine pleasure rides with competing, or equally just one or the other. Equally he would be lovely for mum to hack whilst daughter competes.

Dream has a superb kind friendly temperament. He’s like an over grown Labrador. He loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend as he is so interactive and forms a really strong bond. He loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. He is a good to handle in all ways. He lives in and out and is happy turned out next to or in with other horses, he is very quiet in the field and gets on well with all horses and ponies. He is currently turned out overnight and comes in during the day, he is so easy to have around. He is good to shoe, bath, catch, lead ect. He loads perfectly (single handed) and travels like a dream. He really is such a genuine honest horse who deserves the best of homes. You can’t quite believe how friendly and kind he is until you meet him! He is a real yard favorite! Foxy is a stunning 6 year old mare by foundation who we have owned since a foal. Compact with a great engine and very natural frame. She is very straightforwards to ride, forwards but not silly, very brave and never spooky she’s working elementary level at home and has just won both the prelim freestyle and prelim straight silver classes at the the recent area festivals with my apprentice scoring an easy 75% and 72% with consistent scores across all three judges. She has a fantastic walk and lovely balance in the trot and canter judges always like her.

She also is excellent to hack alone or in company , she lives out with me which suits her but she’s never naughty when stabled or at stay away shows/training at Carl Hester’s. She likes to do pole work and has happily done a small amount of jumping.

Travels and loads well but was sticky initially and caused her to start cribbing when she came home from her first south trip to carls which is a 10hour journey for us.

For sale for way below her quality’s worth because of the vice and a remark on her X-rays (a close vertebrae) that’s been injected and is not causing any issues to her performance. Happy to discuss all medical history. She’s currently barefoot and copes well however she has been fully shod before and is no problem for the farrier.

Foxy is a very sweet mare never nasty and deserves a home where she can be doted on and enjoyed she has a lot to give someone in connection and competition results. Qualified for nationals twice but never gone only to try keep her in a low enough section that it doesn’t means she’s gold at the low levels. Excellent competition record. Apollo is a very smart young horse with a wonderful attitude and all the ingredients to become a seriously fun and talented all-rounder.

He is currently with us on sales livery after being brought over from Ireland by his owner. Unfortunately, he is a little greener than she was hoping for, but he is a genuinely lovely little horse who is improving all the time and has quickly become a real yard favourite.

Apollo is great to hack in company and thoroughly enjoys getting out and about. He can currently be nervous hacking alone, so this is something his new owner will need to continue working on as his confidence develops.

He has a big, scopey jump and is an exciting prospect for someone wanting a quality young horse to produce. We have taken him cross-country, where he showed plenty of ability, and he will also be joining us at pony camp next week—giving him even more valuable life experience.

From everything we have seen, he is generally good and straightforward to handle. As expected for his age and level of education, he has had the occasional green or babyish moment, but there has been no nastiness—he simply needs a capable rider who enjoys bringing on a young horse.
