Olaf is a much-loved gelding and an absolute pleasure to have around. Offered on behalf of his owner, he is sadly now outgrown and ready to find his next jockey to continue his journey.

Owned since September 2023, Olaf has proven himself to be a genuine, kind, and versatile horse who has turned his hoof to a bit of everything. He has competed in unaffiliated eventing and cross-country, where he is an absolute machine over solid fences—brave, bold, and always willing.

He has also competed in league showjumping and shows plenty of scope, happily jumping courses with fillers and never spooky at fences. Olaf is a forward-thinking ride who loves his job, making him fun, confidence-giving, and rewarding.

He hacks out well alone and in company, is good in open spaces, and is sensible and enjoyable both in and out of the arena.

Olaf is easy to do in all ways and is a pleasure to have on the yard.

Very sad sale of my 15.1hh, rising 6yo homebred gelding

I bred him out of a superb mare I had for over 15 years - she was super consistent and sound till she retired at 19 and was put in foal. His sire was also owned by me, and had a fabulous brain and temperament. I bred Gumdrop hoping that he'd be a polo pony, but his movement and action is more suited to other disciplines. Our loss is his new owner's gain!

Gumdrop has a great attitude and always tries. He's pretty laid back and as a result is very straightforard to deal with and take out and about.

He's out doing BD, has been to training SJ shows for experience, has done eventing clinics, and is really enjoying his XC schooling.
He has his flying changes established both ways too

He is very honest, and tries very hard to do the right thing. He doesn't need riding every day and lives out all year with no issues.

He will definitely go eventing this season with someone who can carry on bringing him on

You don't get a brain and attitude like his very often - he really will be a wonderful teammate to his new owner

We have owned this gorgeous young horse since a foal but unfortunately she hasn’t grown big enough for me.

Olive has recently been broken in and has proved to be a total sweetheart. Very green but very willing and eager to please - her attitude to life is fantastic. She backs alone and in company and has been to a local farm ride where she behaved impeccably.

She is predominantly hacking at the moment to let her strengthen and develop without being pressured.

Bred to jump, and moving well, she will without doubt go on to do very well as a junior/small adults horse. She is good to catch, clip and shoe, and up to date with teeth and vaccs.

Looking for a loan over the summer months, or to potentially have a young horse to gain some experience.

I am currently in between horses as hopefully setting up my own yard, but it’s taking a bit longer than expected. I have the ability to have a horse on loan/training with me up until October time this year, to do a bit of schooling and some eventing/show jumping competitions if appropriate. Would suit someone who’s going travelling for summer/having a baby/ out of action due to injury, or just wanting someone to give their horse a bit of experience.

I have many years of experience, having produced a handful of my own young horses. I have experience with off the track thoroughbreds, as well as Irish types. I have competed up to 90cm eventing, 1m show jumping. I will have the support from my coach, who I would continue having on and off property lessons with, as well as clinics etc.

Ideally the right horse will be a nice person, easy to deal with on the ground and to take out and about (as I do mostly everything on my own), be good to hack out alone and in company, good to shoe/bathe/clip.

Happy to deal with the odd buck etc, but nothing nasty. Also happy to deal with some medical history, as long as disclosed. Horse will have 24/7 turn out on my working farm, with a few horses fielded around them.
