Poeta’s out of this world movement, temperament and competition results make him a wonderful choice of sire. Having been the record breaking PRE world champion in dressage at the Spanish horse finals as a 4yo and 5yo, along with being selected and competing at the FEI World Young Dressage Horse Championships in Verden, Poeta’s career is going from strength to strength.

In 2021 Poeta was selected to represent Spain in CHIO Aachen, Germany at Small Tour level achieving 72%+. His semen is excellent quality and he is stamping his offspring particularly with wonderful movement and trainability.

A son of the first elite graded PRE horse Ermitaño III, Doblon has proven himself time and again as both a fantastic sire as well as an incredible example of the PRE in dressage. As a young horse, Doblon was selected and represented Spain at the WBFSH World Breeding Championships in Verden and, at the time, obtained the highest ever score awarded to a PRE. Doblon went on to have a fantastic career, competing successfully at Small Tour level, before becoming one of Yeguada Susaeta’s top sires.

As a sire, Doblon continues to stamp his offspring with his elasticity, expression and work ethic. He has sired numerous notable offspring for dressage including Sultan de Susaeta (SICAB 4-year-old PRE world champion, reserve for FEI World Young Horse Championships) and our own Risa de Susaeta, who in 2020 was the U.K. MCI Young Horse national champion with scores of 75.2% and 78.8% in the final at Keysoe and is now competing at Advanced Medium. In recognition of his amazing abilities as a sire, Doblon-TR was awarded ELITE status in 2022 – one of only 11 horses ever given this award.
