Effy is a 15.2h 13 year old Conne x tb mare who is the perfect all rounder/ ladies hunter.

Effy had sadly been outgrown hence the sale. Since being with us she’s done a bit of everything; hunting/showjumping/ eventing/dressage.

Here’s just a few thing she had excelled at.

- Show jumping 90/100 a careful jumper always in the ribbons not a spooky type.

- Produces a lovely dressage test competing novice (knows most lateral movements with 3 established gaits)

- Loves going xc, competed in many local hunter trials and schooled around courses countless times will jump anything you put her at out xc up to 120.

- Has hunted 2 seasons and one while leading a kid on lead-rein some of the season, will jump any hedge she’s put at.

She’s also competed in a few local interhunt relays at county shows and always kept a level head.

- Excellent out hacking desn’t bat an eyelid at pigs/donkeys/cows/ponies/sheep. And good in traffic and agricultural machinery. Happy to hack alone or in company and loves a fun ride! Leads other unbacked horses from her. She’s been to big stay away shows and behaved impeccably!

-While with me we’ve competed at some unaffiliated ODE’s although also has a successful BE record from a previous home always going double clear.

She’s super safe novice friends have hacked her out and she always looks after them whereas will step up a gear for someone more capable.

Effy has schooled up to 120 at home so has the scope to burn! Would make a fabulous ladies hunter or riding club all rounder type for a teen coming off ponies.

She’s happy to live out 24/7 or be stabled and happy to live out with others or in individual turnout.

Good to clip, shoe, box (self loads in trailer or lorry!!) Good to handle on ground. But please note she’s been seen to weave before meal time in the stable.

No complete novices please or timewasters. She loves being out and about jumping/hunting… don’t want her going to a home where she’d going to be drilled in the school everyday.

Up to date with everything: vaccinations, teeth, physio, worming. Open to vetting.

Will only be sold to a home where she will be a cherished member of the family.

Pebble is a project who in the right hands could be anything with some time & patience.

Pebble ran once in a National hunt bumper but didn’t show any desire to be a racehorse. She has just had some downtime in the field since then. She would really benefit from having her own person who is willing to start from scratch and work with her not against her.

She’s currently in light work. She does basic flatwork, she has three balanced paces. She hasn’t done much schooling so is very green but this is a working progress.

She hasn’t previously done any jumping but I have started getting her over poles and small jumps which she took in her stride.

She is more slow than go and takes plenty of leg. Never strong. She is still immature, she hasn’t seen much of the world. She has seen all types of traffic when walking to the gallop daily but in company.

Lives in & out in company. Good to box, travel & shoe (currently barefoot.) No previous injuries. No sarcoids. No blemishes. No lumps or bumps. No vices. Not marish but is an opinionated person to ride. Never bucked or reared whilst with us. Always had competent riders onboard. Loves fuss and wonderful on the ground.

Not suitable for a novice, nervous riders or children. Only experienced people please.
