A smart, quality Irish Sport Horse with excellent breeding and a very exciting future as an event horse and Badminton Grassroots prospect.
McFly was presented through the Goresbridge Select Event Horse Sale, highlighting his quality and potential from a young age. He is well bred, combining proven Irish performance bloodlines including Cavalier Royale and Clover Hill, both renowned for producing talented jumpers and event horses.
He has been quietly and correctly produced and has already gained valuable competition mileage, competing at BE90 and BE100 as a five-year-old. He is brave and genuine cross-country, with a careful, scopey jump and an athletic, balanced way of going.
McFly is a straightforward horse to manage. He hacks alone or in company, is sensible in open spaces, and is easy to handle on the yard. Good to load, travel, clip and with the farrier.
He is a kind horse who enjoys his work and always tries to please. He can occasionally be a little spooky in the arena, but remains genuine and honest in his attitude.
Passed a full 5-stage vetting with clean X-rays in late 2025.
