Meet Arpége, a true professional with a golden temperament and a wealth of experience. With three expressive, uphill paces and a naturally balanced way of going, he is a joy to ride every day.

Having successfully evented up to 4* level in France, Arpége has seen and done it all. However, he’s now ready for a new chapter — one that allows him to channel his talent, elegance, and education into pure dressage, where he truly shines.

This is not a sale through injury. Arpége loves his work and enjoys his jumping, but it’s clear his heart now lies in the dressage arena. Confidently established at Advanced Medium level, he has competed in big atmospheres and always carries himself with grace and presence.

He would be the ideal partner for a rider who wants to learn the movements, build confidence, and gain competition experience on a horse who is both talented and kind. Whether you’re aiming to move up the levels or simply want to enjoy the feel of a well-schooled, generous horse, Arpége is the perfect teacher.

A very sad sale of a much-loved horse, so only the best 5* home will be considered.

Open to full vetting.

A true gentleman ready to share his wisdom and begin a new chapter in the dressage arena.

He’s got all the makings of a serious horse.

Ready to register BE and quickly move up the ranks next season.

He Loves his work and is always keen to please.

Has a super Scopey jump and would be equally good at BS.

Hes easy to load, shoe, clip, hack

Would suit someone confident who wants to crack on and move up the levels this coming season.

He would thrive with someone who’s ambitious.

Spider has active workman like paces, is forward and off the leg. He is never sick or sorry !

Finding him a good home is top priority. He’s been in the same home since a 3 year old.

Royal Mint, Penny - KEC Maximum Joe x Cavalier Royale

Penny is a quality mare with a lot of presence, consistently scoring low 30s and in the 20s at Novice and Intermediate.

Careful jump and bold xc, only one xc fault on her record.

Bought at the end of her 4yo year Penny was a project to turn around and make some money whilst I was at university.. 5 years later the time has finally come. She has taught me so much and is now ready to teach her next rider. She would be suited to a competent junior or amateur wanting to be competitive at lower levels through to 2* and beyond.

She is a tough mare never a sick or sorry day however one optional operation that lead her to miss some of her 7yo year. Happy to share all vet history.

Recent full set of clean X-rays and scans.

Genuine and sad sale of a much beloved horse due to work commitments and another horse coming back into work.

Sensibly priced.

Bred in the purple for top level, this young horse stands between 16.1 and 16.2.

Sula Blue xx, jumped 4* himself and his dam evented with Katherine Coleman and an amateur. Shannondale Sarco is one of the world’s top eventing stallions, having bred multiple international jumpers and eventers. Cavalier Royale also needs no introduction as he has also bred multiple top level horses in both sports.

Hugo is a quick learner, light on his feet, plenty of blood and only seen fences 2 times in his life.

He is a real commercial type and is not phased by anything.

Careful, scopey and could turn his hand to any job!

Perfect confirmation and we do believe that he is the top that could go all the way.

Currently being backed.

Stunning homebred chestnut Colt, Dancing Duke out of homebred Mare, Dancing Duchess (75% TB - 25% Arab) - (by Daws Firebird). Duchess has been an exceptional allrounder and is the 7th generation of a line bred by my grandmother.

Duke carries himself beautifully, showing exceptional movement, grace and cadence - his innate character is inquisitive and bold, left brain and confident. An exceptional character to train for whatever discipline. Would excel in the eventing world, or dressage world due to his phenomenal breeding. See below for more information.

Duke's sire is Catherston Liberator (75% TB), whose Thoroughbred sire was Liboi.

Catherston Liberator was an extremely tough, sound race horse who raced for no less than 8 seasons. Liberator’s mother was the Grade B showjumper, Catherston Jetstream by Jashin. Liberator fulfilled his early promise by attaining Advanced status Eventing and Prix St George standard in Dressage. In Eventing he won at Novice on only his second outing followed by leading after Dr and SJ at Mattingley in the 2**. That season finished with him winning the Aldon 2 day event by 11 points!!!! The following year started with him winning the Novice at Tweseldown, followed by 3 consecutive wins at Intermediate {Longleat, Sommerley and Wilton}. An incredible record, even by modern day standards.

In the Dressage arena Catherston Libertor competed at Advanced gaining over 450 BD points and followed in his mother’s hoof prints in the show jumping ring winning £346, qualifying for the Winter Novice Championships at Hickstead where he was 2nd in the Grade C competition.

If his own performance record isn't enough he is also one of THE most consistent sires of top level competition horses. He has a number of Advanced eventers to his credit including the double 3*** winner in America, the British Bred Tregarth and in the UK most recently Xavier Faer who was 3rd at Badminton 2018.

So here you have one of the very few Elite stallions who possesses thoroughbred blood, has competed himself at the highest level and has sired numerous top competition horses, both in the UK and world wide.

Duke (3yr old) is for sale as we don't have the time for the next phase, as I'm working full time in London and travel with work making life very complicated. He freeschools beautifully, over fences and also on a lunge. Led out with other horses and is a well mannered horse in the stables etc, just now ready for the next chapter!

16.1hh KWPN rising 6 year old mare by Phil VH (Cornet Obolensky) out of a Baloubet Du Rouet Mare.

She has a good nature and is straightforward to do in all ways, is a reliable and sensible ride, easy enough for an amateur to carry on producing. Would make a lovely all-rounder. Has been out to many arena hires, training shows and has competed up to 1m. Good in a busy warmup, generally not a spooky sort. Safe to hack alone or in company in all settings, and with my collie herding her whilst riding! Easy to keep; can be left on her own, in or out, and she doesn't care; not at all clingy to other horses. Good-doer, good for farrier.

Up to date with vacs, dental, worming, physio.

Reason for sale is that she has a relatively short stride for a horse of her size, and I'm not sure she has the scope for more than 1.10m and I just feel like she is more comfortable at 1m-1.05m and don't feel like it's fair to push her - would probably make a really nice BE100 horse in time!

To note: Has had bone chips removed from her near fore fetlock and both hocks when she was younger - vet says this will cause no lasting issues in the future - to be fair I'm sure most young horses have OCD fragments removed!

Open to any vet or x-rays.

Sad sale as I have owned her since a 2yo, but I would like a larger horse with more scope to jump bigger classes.

JUDITH DU LOIR - Loir is a gorgeous horse inside and out. Outwardly she is a blood horse who has regular athletic paces, a scopey jump, is rideable and has a very willing and trainable nature. Inwardly she is quiet and kind yet has plenty about her to be competitive and turn heads.

She was bred at the 'Du Loir' stud in France and had a successful 5yo introduction to eventing over there. She came to the UK for a top rider who thinks alot of her but she probably isn't going to make a top top horse for him.

She is therefore for sale, on behalf of her French owners, at A.E Equestrian. She has been with us around 2 months and in that time has been to a number of arena eventing and SJ competitions with their 14yo competent daughter. She has a wonderful outlook, is easy to have around and although forward and athletic is nicely ridable for an amateur or teenager.

She is could continue on her eventing path or equally make a super alrounder/ PC/ RC/ dressage etc horse.

Lovely Lance

2020 16hh AES gelding by L’Elu De Dun X (145 stallion) out of a Nabab De Reve mare who’s produced multiple eventers. His grand dam produced 2x 150 jumpers. He’s 66% TB. Bred here in the uk.

Lance would be an absolute asset to anyone’s team!
His first time XC schooling and took to it like a duck to water! Jumped all the logs/ditches/houses/steps. He walked straight into the water!
He rides beautifully on the flat in a consistent outline. To jump he has so much scope and is careful too. He’s ultra brave and loves to learn!

Although he’s still green he has a fantastic mentality and just wants to please, he loves working!

He’s blood to ride, in your hand and always taking you. We ride him in a snaffle and don’t struggle however please note that he is a forward/strong & still green competition horse so wouldn’t suit a novice.

He’s a pocket rocket and for sure will go on and win someone hundreds of rosettes.

Lance has so much potential, he’s been slowly and correctly produced with his future in mind.

He’s jumped two BS show on a ticket in the disco and was double clear both times before jumping at his first winter classic in December and stepping up to his first newcomers. Although he made green mistakes he improved with every round and really showed the incredible attitude he has to learning.

He’s not the spooky type but he has got something about him, brave as a lion at a fence. Really easy to handle and deal with, good to load and travel and super easy away from home. Good to clip & shoe.

He went to the most recent Arena UK winter classic and stepped up again to jump his first 6yo class for a rider error mistake, then jumped his first winter novice and qualifier for 2 green mistakes. The more ring mileage he gets the more he improves and with some more shows he will definitely catch up!
We’ve not hacked him as our roads are just too busy for the babies.

Completely clean limbed, no lumps/bumps/sarcoids. Absolutely no vices - he’s now ready to go out and see the world!

Based Newark - NG23 - good trial facilities.
Open to any inspection.

He has a very sweet and lovely temperament. Quiet and well behaved to handle, he’s good to lead and pick up his feet etc. As you can see from the photos he is a stunning horse with elegant paces and would suite any sport.

Lianko (Eldorado Van de Zeshoek x Grafiet) X Lupicor x Sit this one out.

An impressive dam line producing some top quality horses with the dams full brother jumping 140s.

He started his education last year and was very straightforward and willing, he was lunged and long reined with a great attitude. He had his wolf teeth out before Christmas and had some time off since.

He has now been brought back in however currently not in work, we will start to continue his education soon so price will go up accordingly.

Any questions please ask.

Didi is a smart, athletic 16.3hh rising 6-year-old sports horse gelding with an exciting future ahead. He is a super prospect for eventing or dressage, combining quality movement with a willing attitude.

He is out of a coloured Irish sports horse mare, and by Damocles, a Hanoverian stallion by the world-class Dimaggio, giving him excellent bloodlines for dressage.

Didi is good to handle in every way: easy to clip, load and travel, and sensible in traffic. He is fully up to date with farrier, teeth, vaccinations and physio.

He has competed in a few one-day events where he behaved impeccably and showed good potential. He has also attended clinics and camp, and has competed in unaffiliated dressage, consistently scoring in the high 60%.

Although he has done low-level activities, he is still a young, talented horse and therefore would not be suitable for a novice rider. He would be ideal for a confident, experienced rider looking to produce a quality competition horse.
