A truly special mare who combines talent, temperament and trainability – Wendy is the type that is very hard to find.

She has trained 1.10m showjumping and has been XC schooling around 90cm - 1m, showing plenty of scope, bravery and a natural love for her job. She would make a fantastic grassroots competition horse for a competitive amateur wanting to progress up the levels.

On the flat although still green she is sweet, willing and straightforward, making her enjoyable to ride and continue producing.

Wendys temperament is exceptional. She is the quietest mare in every way and has settled in like she has been part of the yard forever and truly like a piece of the furniture. She is incredibly kind and easy to deal with, with a very gentle soul.

She is completely non-mareish, a pleasure to have around, and so straightforward that even my non-horsey partner confidently takes her into the wash box to give her a pamper.

She hacks alone and in company and is an absolute dream to handle in every situation.

Flavia was professionally backed at four and has been brought on slowly and age appropriate over the winter.

Flav has been off site training a few times and is always foot perfect and mannerly.

Flavia is probably the easiest youngster I have ever had. She will try her heart out and is forward thinking and quick to learn. She can be left a week then just pop on without a fuss.
She is very forward going but not sharp or silly.

Jumping is not something I do but we have loose jumped 1 metre with ease

We hack alone but are straight out onto a bridlepath so don’t have to tackle much traffic. She is however used to all sorts of farm machinery.

Flavia loads and travels like a dream, excellent for farrier, vet, bathing etc
I have owned her since she was nine months old so full vets history known. She is never sick or sorry.

Flav cut the inside of her hind cannon on 23/12/25 . Seen and treated by the vet but may result in a scar.
She also has a dish when she moves as can be seen on the video.
