Custard is our 15.1hh 5-Year-Old Cream & White Gelding

He is an eye-catching 5-year-old gelding standing at 15.1hh. Imported from Ireland, where he had hunted with the Roscommon Harriers and competed at training shows.

He hacks out both alone and in company.

Great on roads and in open spaces. Bold chap who is happy to take the lead or happy to follow along behind.

He travels well, loads easily, and is a pleasure to take out and about.

He’s also incredibly patient – happy to stand on the lorry for hours without fuss while others are being ridden.

Custard is easy to manage on the ground and is just as content living in or out, whether in a herd or individually. He’s a real sweetheart and quickly became a favourite on the yard.

He’s always ridden in a snaffle, never strong or silly. He is a balanced, comfortable ride. Out xc he jumped hedges, ditches and into water! He is super bold.

Due to his age and in no way a reflection on his temperament, Custard will be best suited to a confident, competent rider to continue his education.

He would make a brilliant R/C. P/C horse

Maximus is the ultimate cob with a job! He is a really smart cob that has excelled in everything he has done, he is not a kick along cob he is a push button ride that wants to have fun.

Maximus has done a little bit of everything, in recent years he has thoroughly enjoyed a days hunting, pleasure rides, beach rides, a little cross country training and showjumping. He is currently jumping courses of 80/90cm, he'll jump off any stride and is happy to help you out if you get it wrong. He has done some cross country and he is brave and honest.

Maximus has also competed in a handful of dressage tests, with respectable scores and positive comments from the judges. He works well in an outline and has a real positive attitude. He is an obedient, forward and responsive ride, that can take the judges by surprise!

Maximus absolutely loves his hacking, he hacks well alone and in company, and he is good in farm/village traffic, there is no country he wouldn't cross, he is an old school 'Tally-Ho' type horse, looking for his next best friend who love's gallivanting around the countryside as much as he does.

  • Real loveable boy.
  • Sad Sale
This lovely boy is sadly for sale through no fault of his own. 6 years old and 153 cm.

I have 2 in the same class so he has been left on the sidelines. I have owned him 2 years. He is a Morrows cob who’s records speak for themselves. I have done a handful of local shows with him and he is still green but now ready to go further.

We have brought him on slowly, he hacks happily alone and in company. Has had 7 days behind hounds last winter. Been x-country schooling and a couple of dressage competitions. As he is only 6 in my opinion he is not for a novice or as a first horse.

He travels happily in a trailer or lorry and has been a pleasure to take out. Lives in or out, alone or with others.

Vaccinated and measured to date. Needs a twitch to clip his legs but good as gold with the rest. Loves a good groom and a bath. Will bang his door for attention, easily cured with an electric spring gate as a deterrent, not live.

Excellent to catch, shoe etc. home is most important for this lovely boy. He is

TWEEDFELL THE DUCHESS - By Asby Mills Warrior

Dolly is a stunning, minimally marked contender for the ridden HOYS open / junior classes. She has lots of presence, is light on her feet and has a lovely, kind temperament

She is 2yo (3 at the beginning of Feb 2026) and currently stands 13.1-13.2hh

I have given Dolly an excellent start to her education and she is good to trim, bath, oil, tie up, and she leads in and out of the field quietly either by herself or as a pair with another youngster

She has lived out all year with a shelter, but is equally happy to come into a stable

She has been brilliantly behaved at shows (been to 2), trotting out beautifully and is easy to hold in a halter. She didn’t bat an eyelid today being stood whilst big lorries and other ponies went by ??

She has qualified for the youngstock final at CHAPS Championships and is also available with the entry to Lincolnshire Show & the Great Yorkshire Show

Can be viewed 30 mins ish from Arena UK (Near Retford, just off the A1)

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Boo is the most loving and kind mare. She is as near to bombproof as you can get. She hacks anywhere. Is never strong or silly. Has been shown in hand and has never been out of the top two.

Would show under saddle too.

Shes a forward going type but is always snaffle mouth.
She pops a small fence and is unfazed by everything.

She only being sold as owners are emigrating so an extremely sad sale

Beautiful 2021 Palamino mare standing approx 13'3" she will grow a little more yet. Backed in January and hacked away, in company at first, more recently alone too. Now starting life in the school with three smart paces. Yet to see poles and jumps but like most things with this little horse they won't be too much trouble! Easy to catch, load and trim.

We have owned her for two years, in that time she has become part of the family. At her tender age I cannot guarantee she will be perfect, I can vouch for her big heart and willingness to try.

She is looking for a new family who will love her as we do and who are willing to continue has education after a good start.

Homes will be thoroughly checked.

  • Safe and sensible
  • Good ground manners

It’s with a heavy heart that I offer Skeldon Moor Jasper for sale. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of owning this special boy his entire life, having brought him home as an 8-month-old foal. He’s grown into the kindest, most genuine horse you could wish to meet.

Jasper is a true gentle giant – kind, patient, and full of character. He lives out 24/7, is a good doer, and generally an easy keeper. Broken to ride later in life, he’s had a relaxed upbringing and now enjoys a steady pace. He’s still green in the school, but shines as a happy hacker – confident alone or in company.

  • Ridden and handled by children
  • Safe and sensible, though strong due to his size – not suitable for complete novices
  • Good ground manners, stands perfectly to be groomed and fussed over
  • Bombproof in traffic, though he may spook at rattling noises behind him (e.g. trailers)
  • Needs shoeing every 8 weeks for road work – managed barefoot on soft ground when not in regular work
  • Loading requires patience – he loads with training but we don’t currently have a lorry on the yard to maintain the practice

Jasper is a confidence giver, a steady companion, and a much-loved member of the family. Finding him the perfect 5* home is my top priority – he deserves nothing less.

Located in Swanmore, Hampshire

Serious enquiries only, please – this is a very special boy

This is a very rare opportunity to purchase outstanding Maxi Cob, who is a true gentleman and would turn his hoof to anything. It’s an extremely sad and genuine sale due to owners previous health issues.

Murphy is out and out the yard favourite, he is a saint to do on the ground and ridden, he’s a complete pleasure to have on the yard.

Murphy has been in the same home since a 4 year old, where he has been his owners best friend. They go on long distance hacks, pleasure rides, pole work clinics, lessons, and just general fun. Him and his owner would always go to places on their own, he’s a gem to handle and get ready.

Bought from Ireland as a 4yo to make 15.2, Murphy just didn’t stop growing and had just become too big for my client to tack up due to her own health issues.

We can’t fault this lovely horse, he has no vices, hacks out in the heaviest alone and in company, always snaffle mouthed, never been sick or sorry and is everyone’s best friend.

We have excellent viewing facilities in Worcester just 15 mins off the motorway.
