Otis is a quality young gelding with an exceptional temperament and a great attitude to work. Recently backed and riding away quietly, he’s proving straightforward and takes everything in his stride.

He works in three balanced paces, moves well with an attractive stamp, and is already confidently jumping a small course of fences. Otis has been on arena hire and cross-country schooled, showing a willing attitude and enjoying his work.

He’s shaping up to make a super working hunter or a versatile allrounder. Given time to mature over winter, he’s been brought back into work this spring with a quiet, sympathetic approach.

Otis hacks out sensibly, has seen traffic, and is good in open spaces. Always ridden in a snaffle and proving easy to do in all ways.

While still green due to his age, he’s very well behaved and a pleasure to have around. Great potential to be produced further and have some fun while doing it!.

  • A big unit standing 16.2hh and built like a tank
  • Along side this he is a gentle man.

He has started his groundwork education but not yet been ridden so ready for you to put your own stamp on him.

He is generally not bothered by most things, he has been led past farm machinery without being bothered by them. He does like to chase a tractor that comes into his field too.

He can be green and look at new things occasionally but if given a moment to work it out he’s then fine. He thrives with being told he’s a good boy!

He lunges well in full tack.

He is good to catch (walking in his field without him attached to your hip is more of a challenge)!

He is good for the farrier (currently barefoot so unknown for shoeing).

He is good to load and travel.

Lives in or out.

Only for sale as I don’t have the time to give him that he deserves, and owe it to him to let him reach his full potential.

Would love to receive the odd update on how he is getting on and what he’s up to if able to do so.

GOOD LUCK in your NEW HOME
She's a lovely friendly mare.
Easy to handle, ride and loves her jumping

Hacks - never pulls, would be ideal for fun rides, or 'happy hacking' as very straight forward.

Schooled well with lovely judges comments on her dressage scores - always high 60's with scope for 70's. Has won or placed every time.

Only available as I have two youngsters to ride and I won't have time for everyone! I keep getting asked why I'm selling her but I work 6 days a week as a Vet, run a livery yard and kennels and have 2 dressage horses coming up the levels (Advanced competing Adv-Med) plus several youngsters that I have bred. 2 of the 4 year old are now in work, so it's time to hand over her reins to somebody that has the time to get out and enjoy her.

She's lovely to handle, good with everything and a pleasure to have around. Loads, waits on the lorry, travels well. Good with farrier.

Can be ridden daily or given a break and never any different. Stands brilliantly at the mounting block, and will wait for the other horses to go for a ride, great as a nanny to lead young or inexperienced horses with. She was kept on at the racing yard as a lead horse to teach the youngsters to jump - as she always takes a fence on and jumps nicely. Good in all traffic. Just as easy to hack alone.
Owned from racing, so eligible for all ROR classes She would be ideal for somebody to take straight out to so ROR Former Racehorse challenge - with a short course of worker style fences, she would excel in ROR Ridden horse qualifier's or Ridden Show Series.

Well behaved at events. Doesn't light up - even in a presentation will wait for any aids before she walks, or trots up. Good in open spaces is very easy - will not canter unless asked. Has been XC. Would suit ambitious young rider or PC home, or equally an older rider who wants a reliable quality all rounder that can compete in all phases.

Currently owned by Vet so all medical history known, no issues, never sorry, sick or lame. Ready for somebody to pick up the reins and keep enjoying her. She's been on a worm program and had recently had a low saliva tapeworm score with zero worm egg count.

Ideal all rounder with quality and scope to win.

Questions I have been asked;
Does she buck, rear or nap - NO
Has she had any lameness - NO
Does he have any skeletal issues - NO
Has she had her joints injected - NO
Has she had colic - NO
Does she have ulcers - NO
Does he have allergies - NO
Will she pass a Vetting - Yes

Jim is a General allrounder, have a go at everything type. I've had Jim since September 24 and sadly he is not suiting the riding school life. Needs to return to a one to one home.

Jim is not sharp, more whoa than go, soft snaffle mouth. He schools nicely in the arena, dressage paddock and jump field, happily plods through our shallow lake and gives leads, he hacks out in company or alone around our farm land .

Jim is currently unshod, will live in or out and is a good doer. Vices are he needs sedation for clipping and he can buck, so No complete novices. Ridden by adults and teenagers.

A fun little horse with the right rider on board. His previous owner did weekly clinics, lessons and sponsored rides.

Very good to load, shoe, bath, lead about and tie up. up to date with everything.

Excellent trial facilities and hacking for you to try Jim in all settings that he's currently ridden in. Please NO/Nervous novices or first timers, to inquire.

Deep seeking my nxt best friend. 14.2 up 16h max really as I cant get on big ones!

If 14.2hh it MUST be full up without a short choppy stride.

Pref an older or atleast “been there type“ with lots of “going-out” experience to get my confidence bk enjoying a bit of jumping (only 70-80& rc clinics), lots of forest hacking at home.

Exp private home in E.Sussex / Kent on beautiful private farm. I'm a petite adult with yrs of competition exp & just want to get something that is genuine & easy to do-ride with zero quirks. Spook fine out hacking but no bucking, spins or rears.

Easy to load alone & happy waiting around at clinics without any drama. No getting buzzy or impatient..

Nothing too buzzy pls, forward yes but not buzzy type, certainly no ridden vices at all. Minor health issues are fine if disclosed. MUST hack alone & CALM in comp without drama’s. No bucking, napping or being naughty. The odd genuine spook is normal). We meet dogs & push bikes in forest here so must be genuine & safe though not wanting a plod & nothing too heavy as I am tiny. The odd genuine spook at a pheasant or leaf is fine. I’m not wanting a turned-off type. Horses will be horses!

Im very exp& use to compete a lot but now just wanting a kind, easy type to enjoy at home with my older boy. Not wanting to compete very much at all just fun rides& Rc clinics& low level jumping occasionally.

I love going xc as use to event but only if ground good. It will be a lower level fun home..I don’t own a school here so im not into endless circles, quite the opp, hence needing something who knows it job. Nothing from Ire pls.

Home for life- Ex vet nurse& has had Equines all my life( I’m early 50’s)

£8k max, less if older type. Not intr buying off a dealer if no known history.

Absolutely heartbreaking sale of this much loved mare, ‘Madonna II’, known as Maddie at home is my gorgeous 15.1/2hh fairly stocky build ID X Knabstrupper.

She is 17 this year, but wasn’t broken in until she was 6 years old so has not been hammered from a young age.

She has done all pony club activities , including pony club camp. She absolutely loves her jumping and will take you to a fence, weather that’s cross country or showjumping. She is happy to jump hedges, ditches, water, you name it she will do it. showjumping she jumps all the fillers and coloured poles. Pops over 95cm (or bigger if cross country!). She has done arena eventing and hunter trials with success.

Maddies main love is hacking, it’s what she has done most of and she will lead or go behind, again she is forward going and enjoys having a canter but always has good breaks (always in a snaffle) and she goes off your voice for transitions up and down the paces. She’s fantastic in all types of traffic.

Maddie certainly won’t go out and win any dressage competition but she will give it a good go and can work in an outline in walk and trot. I’m not looking for someone is expecting her to be a dressage school mistress because she is not, she’s happy to do flat schooling but it’s not where her love lies.

On the ground she is delightful, loads and travels well, turns out with mares or geldings, comes to call from the field, easy to lead, tie up and loves a good groom. The only thing she’s not so sure about is the farrier but is fine with a handful of treats.

I’m looking for someone who wants to hack, do fun rides and enjoy some jumping, perhaps someone in the riding club who just wants a nice safe horse to have fun with. I would like to keep in touch with her as she is very special to me. I sold her in 2021 and after being in a hacking/fun ride home for 3 years she was sold to a riding school, however they found her too forward when jumping. I was given the opportunity to purchase her back, which I have done. However my life has changed due to having a baby and I just cannot give her the time she deserves.

Homes will be vetted.

Derry is a quality young Connemara mare with a bright future ahead of her. She has been started carefully and correctly, taking everything in her stride with a willing attitude and a sharp but sensible brain.

Despite her young age, Derry is not the spooky type and has proven to be a quick learner with a great work ethic. She is currently in light work, with her flatwork progressing nicely. She carries herself well.

Derry has loose schooled over a few fences in the menage showing plenty of promise. In the right hands, this mare will go far, whether in the show ring, showjumping, dressage, eventing, or as a top-quality all-rounder.

Reluctant sale due to teenager losing interest. We have had Dippy for 6 years, she is a lovely kind mare and very easy to handle in and out of the stable, good to load and travel.

She really is an all rounder, great jumper and has won many rosettes for local dressage too, she had done eventing before she came to us, she is also very happy to hack alone or with others and fine with different people riding her

Due to her size, I would say she isn't a novice ride.

Up to date with feet, teeth and worming. No vices

She will come with her tack and rugs for all occasions.. dressage saddle available at extra cost.

Wally has been with us since a yearling. He really is the sweetest horse to have around. Just been professionally started and is now home taking some time out. He still has huge amounts of growing and filling out to do hence why he is not being rushed.

If you are looking for a new best friend to put your own stamp on, to share a lager with, and always put a smile on your face then look no further.

Please do not visit planning on riding and schooling. He is turned away now and if not sold will be brought back into work later in the year. He is going to be a huge boy, so keep that in mind too.

We are looking for a knowledgeable home who will give him the time he needs, and whilst home with us will carry on with walks in hand seeing the world. He is a very special horse who needs a special home. We adore him.

Sad sale of kind yet quality 16hh TB gelding.

Only seven years-old but definitely has an old head on young shoulders. Bought on a whim after years of not having a horse to hack out alongside my daughter and done the job perfectly. Always the same, never any different if not ridden for a few weeks. Stands at mounting block, goes on own or in company.

He has raced - retiring sound with one win - and went straight into a very capable hunting home (he is amazing at opening gates!), coming to me when his owner moved abroad for work.

He then has been my OAP hack, spending the last few weeks on a professional yard jumping coloured poles for the first time and learning to come into an outline. An instant yard favourite because of his easy going nature - nannying youngsters within a few days of arriving! - showing willingness to learn and potential.

He will make the right family a super allrounder. Ideally hoping for a long-term home, maybe riding club or mother and daughter share? Kind enough to be ridden by a capable child coming off ponies and quality enough for working hunters or RoR (Dubawi breeding).

Has lived on own and with company. None of the usual ex-racehorse vices. Easy to shoe, box, clip etc. Very mannerly and easy.

Photos of him hunting (he did 30-plus days and was good with hounds) in his last home available on request.

While he is on schooling livery at the moment, he is only half an hour from his ‘family’ home and viewers would be welcome to pop in and see where he has been living.

He is a much-loved chap, kind and genuine so finding him a good home is more important than price. Do please ask any questions.

absolutely beautiful 17hh pure Irish Draught (green book) 2017 bay mare. This girl has been nicely done, she’s hunted, done most riding club activities and jumps for fun. Flex is a 5 year old unregistered Connemara cross, gelding, standing at 14.3hh (slightly bum high).

I have owned him since he was 18 months old, he was professionally backed as a 3 year old and is a real genuine fun horse! He loves hacking, in front or behind, he has seen heavy traffic, open spaces, cattle, road works etc. He has hacked alone but mainly with others. We have been on days out in the lorry for hacks away from home, a clear round evening, a horse agility day and a riding holiday. He is still green in the school but never naughty or nasty.

Genuine sale as Flex has not grown big enough for me and I would love to find him a shorter rider with a forever home (I am 5’8ft). Comes to call, good with the farrier, never been clipped. To be sold with some tack and a wardrobe of rugs!

Home will be vetted, and I would love to stay in touch with this special horse.

Great family or RS type as he is up to weight but still active enough to go on and compete and could be used by several members of the family. Apollo has had a very good home in Ireland and he has nice flat work and he has been to some little Dressage shows and he is also a very good jumper.

He has been to some unregistered jumping shows and he has also done some XC schooling days proving to be easy and brave and will go in and out of water, jump logs, rails, ditches etc. He is calm and sensible out in big open spaces and does not get strong or hot-headed.

This chap is fantastic to hack out and will happily go alone or in a group, and he is not fazed by the heaviest of road or farm traffic. Despite his age Apollo is the one that we regularly use as escort and babysitter for the less confident horses!

Apollo really loves attention and is happy to stand and be pampered and groomed for hours. He is excellent to turn out with other horses and can be caught easily, he will lead in quietly and tie up anywhere that suits you! He is also very good to load in both a lorry or trailer, sensible with the farrier and is very quiet to clip!

A really super old fashioned type that has a great personality - always happy to do his best and is only looking to please and to be loved.

I have been lucky enough to own Bea for nearly 5 years now and we have had the best fun together! She loves all activities, we’ve done fun rides, hacking (solo and in company) flat and jumping clinics, dressage, showing and camps. She is always in the ribbons. She has a fabulous jump on her as you can see from the photos and will pop round a course of 50-80cm with gusto at a clinic or at home but is less enthusiastic in a competitive arena. This might be something that could change over time, I have only taken her SJ 4-5 times. She works nicely in the school and we can currently be found on the Quest leaderboard for Intro and Prelim, where she consistently scores in the mid to high 60’s.

Bea is a typical Welsh, with bags of sass and super-expressive, you will never be in any doubt where you stand with her! She has lovely manners and is very easy to manage. She can be a bit sharp occasionally when ridden, however, and for this reason would not be suitable for a novice or child. She has never ever frightened me the whole time I have had her, she will keep you safe, providing you ride quietly and confidently. Bea is 100% in traffic, stands quietly to be shod, clipped and bathed.

She is up to date with the chiro/physio/vacc/teeth and is open to vetting. She loads and travels beautifully in a lorry or trailer and will stand quietly on the box at an event. I go out on my own with her a lot and she’s very easy to travel, tack up and mount. She is currently fit and ready to go for a summer of fun.

Bea would make an ideal mother/daughter share, riding club horse or would suit a confident teen. I have made the very difficult decision to sell her as I desperately want to do more jumping; I am of an age where I may not have too many jumping years left in me and am keen to make the most of them! Bea is at livery just outside Bicester where she can be viewed and ridden. Please note that I will be vetting potential buyers as much as you will be vetting Bea, so be prepared! She is a special girl and the right home is paramount.
