Malcolm does basic flatwork. He has been to an arena hire where he didn’t turn a hair and happily jumped a course of 80cm showjumps. Scopey & not phased by any fillers.

Has been XC schooling too for the first time, taking it all in his stride, never says no. Happily jumping hedges, skinny’s, steps, doubles at angles, water, etc. You name it he’ll give it a go. Super clever and careful.

He is a more slow than go character but still doesn’t need much leg. He is a truly lovely horse who aims to please and would love his own person.

Snaffle mouthed. Kind temperament & well mannered.

Has hacked out alone or in company around open fields and a few times on the roads where he wasn’t fizzy or fazed by traffic or any surroundings.

Lives in & out in company. Good to box, travel & shoe. No vices.

Does have some small sarcoids underneath his body that don’t affect him and aren’t noticeable unless looked for.

May be suitable for a competent novice.

Confidence-giving type. (He was my daughter's first horse off ponies.)

A really easy, gentleman on the ground, and ridden. Renewing would suit teenagers, adults, or a mother-daughter/ son share. He can be ridden as little or as often as you like. Great in all weathers, no change in temperament.

He has taken part in most PC and RC activities, including PC camp (Malvern PC), attended rallies, SJ, XC, dressage, fun rides, and shows.

Lovely hunter, goes first or last. Hunted last season with the Croome, Cotswolds Vale, and the Farmers Bloodhounds, XC and SJ are all done in a lovely, balanced rhythm.

Great in open fields, on roads, out hacking, good in traffic. Hacks alone or in company, and he can be left in the yard.

Good to box (in trailer or lorry), clip and shoe.

Raced lightly as a 4yo NH but big & weak, bought straight from trainer, then 18mths of slowly bringing on with lots of lessons & clinics, XC & SJ hire, couple of unaffiliated dressage, few hunter trials & a mini ODE

Last 18mths done very little due to jockey struggling with health

Positive, easy to train, happy, honest & comfy horse to ride, hacks nicely in company & hacked plenty alone

Never napped or reared, but can get excited & have odd buck, bunny hop, shy

Not for novices simply due to his size & breed & can be a typical TB both on the ground & to ride, but zero malice,

Has a superficial blemish to back foot from injury as a foal with scar tissue (which just looks like mudfever, but not) & abnormal hoof growth (half hoof has vertical ridges, but fully shod & no issues). Has a splint on a front leg

No major lameness with me, just the odd bruise or gravel. Only seen vet for jabs & teeth

Thrives off lots of good hard feed, forage & grass, turnout & equine companions

Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth & farrier

Good to load (occasionally slow to leave a party & I take a companion if need to walk a course), good to shoe, easy to clip, can get wriggly to tack up/on trailer/when things excite him

Flight to Australia force the sale of a much loved horse.

Time Bandit is an athletic, well put together horse who has competed with confidence in eventing, showjumping, dressage and showing.

He moves and jumps well, with an exceptional walk and uphill canter.

I have predominantly evented Percy at BE90 & BE100, if I could use a stop watch I could say with great success! Before I fly I have a few BE100s lined up however, I believe Percy has the quality to go much further than this. He is brave and fast xc never having a jumping fault. So would be handy at Team Chasing.

We have also dabbled in showjumping and showing, jumping up to discovery on a ticket getting one rider error pole. And receiving great feedback from showing judges who all have really liked him.

Last year he qualified for the ROR championship and was one place away from qualifying for the Rising Stars Racehorse to Riding Horse Championship at London International - if I put more time into this discipline we could have gone to some cool places I’m sure.

Percy raced over hurdles before I purchased him in October 2022 straight after his last race, injury free. Whilst I was focusing on my final year of University (2024) he went to a retired 5* event rider for some schooling and this has really improved his way of going.

He hacks out alone or in company, and jumps around the farm. Always snaffled mouthed.

Is an absolute gentleman on the ground, perfect to clip, shoe, travel etc. I have taken him places by myself and he’s easy.

He’s feet are good, I think he’s lost one shoe in the three years I’ve had him!

Even though I have flights booked I am in no rush to sell him. He is my best friend and a family pet. I am in tears writing this advert however he deserves to be kept busy and not be a field ornament.
