Pembroke Thomasina is a 7/8th bred Irish Draught mare by Dylasau Thomas and out of Pembroke Royal Blue (RID).

‘Pickle’ is a beautiful stamp of a horse. A smart and elegant mare whilst being a leg in each corner type. She has correct limbs, good feet and a gorgeous head! She has the most wonderful kind temperament, loves attention and is a total pleasure to have around.

Pickle was recently broken in at the start of 2024 and nicely produced by her breeders. She has had a good education hacking on quiet lanes and in open spaces, riding through fields, rivers and popping little logs. In the last month she has been based with Holly Bradshaw Eventing to further her education in the school and start coloured poles. She has been a pleasure to produce.

She works in a soft and correct contact and is very nicely balanced for a mare only broken in a few months. She has lovely cadence and elevation to her trot and an armchair canter. She is quiet to ride but nicely forward. Off the leg but not sharp or spooky.

She has lots of potential to be a really really lovely horse if produced in the correct way. She has started jumping natural fences (see vids) proving to be bold and willing. She is brave and will walk into streams and rivers. She has the potential to excel in any discipline. She would make a lovely project for grassroots eventing, hunting, BD or BS. Or make a really smart hack for someone willing to bring her on.

She is really friendly, loves people. Excellent stable manners. Loaded and travelled well in the few journeys she has done. Good to wash, tack up etc. She was a little nervous to have her first set of shoes done but didn’t require any sedation, just patience and food. No vices and cleaned limbed.

Although she has a lovely nature she isn’t suitable for a novice as she is young and recently backed, therefore seeking an experienced home to continue her education.

Zoomy is our rising 8yo, 16hh, 3/4TBxID. 

Slowly produced, loads of hacking over open moors, rivers tracks etc done, and loves hunting. Shes very brave & throws her heart in to all she does. Shes an honest & clever mare, and enjoys working, especially things where she can use her brain like working out how to cross rough ground or cross country/team chasing. 

Will always give you a long one rather than chipping in at a fence, & will find an extra leg and get you out of trouble. 

Shes done loads of sj/xc training and some local competitions at 70/80, she’s keen to jump higher and has schooled over 100 with total ease, but we’ve been very careful not to do too much with her as she’s been very slow to fill out her frame, and we're not a competition home, we just hack, hunt and go to the odd competition for fun. 

She willing to travel and is fast over the ground, so makes really good time xc & team chasing, she doesn’t get worked up, has good breaks at all times and only needs a snaffle even XC or hunting. Well schooled and can do a basic dressage test quite well, although this is not really our area of interest as her riders. 

Lovely manners in the field and stable, loads in a lorry or trailer, easy to do anything with and no known faults. Her worst points would be she can pull faces and swish her tail at horses she doesn’t know if they get up behind her hunting etc, and she doesn’t love big/heavy traffic/motorbikes. She's not terrible with it, but will want a bit of reassurance sometime. 

She’s happy living in it out, not nappy, goes out alone or in company, will wait on the trailer while her buddy does his thing without fussing, she’s generally a lovely mare in every way. She would be really mega for a teenage coming of ponies, I don’t know who wouldn’t love her. 

She likes to get on with life & doing different things, so she would not enjoy going to a home where she will only ever go round and round in a sand school, I think she would love to be an eventer, hunter or or general all rounder, and while a novice could ride her perfectly well, I wouldn’t want that for her, so please don’t apply unless you are a happy, fun, forward rider looking to get out and about with a like minded horse.

A little behind for his age due to his late start, he more than makes up for this with a fantastic attitude to his work, he has a calm, kind nature & always wants to please.

Three rhythmical paces on the flat, he is consistent in his frame & has attended a couple of BD shows at prelim level, scoring well, with plenty of pleasing comments

We have taken him cross country schooling, where he was happy to go first or last, jumping ditches, all natural fences, drops & water. Just started tackling combination fences, he really impressed us with how quickly he got the idea & started locking on, looking for the next fence.

He is very genuine into a fence & is never spooky or silly, he always wants to have a go. Has jumped a variety of fillers & water trays & wouldn't dream of stopping, he always has his ears forward, enjoying his job.

Snaffle mouthed for everything, he has been produced correctly by ladies; he is sensible enough for a competent amateur but would have the talent for a professional.

He has hacked out in company, -our roads aren't safe to go alone.

Like a big dog to have on the yard, he is vice free & good to do in all ways.

Unspoilt horses of this quality are hard to find; we would love to stay in touch with new owners and watch his progress. Does require knowledgeable home to continue his education.

• 'Star'

Star is though to be a connie cross. She was kept in a riding school/working livery yard  in the South of Ireland.

She's a very easy type that has been used with all types of rider. Ridden by both children and adults. She would do most jobs and would go back riding school work.

She will pop a small track of fences. Super when out hacking and has seen all types of farm machinery.

Good in traffic. Ties up and is good to be around. Good with farrier and loads well.

DEZINA GIRLIE POWER

This mare is such a pleasure to have and work with at the yard. She was broken in by us as a 3 yr old turned away and has been brought back into work with no problems what so ever.

Girlie has done hacking , beach rides, pub rides, fun rides, showing and show jumping, hunting.
She has 3 lovely paces in the school.
*First show she came 1st in riding coloured
*Second show - 2nd and 3rd in coloured and any breed any type against competitive RI horses. SERIOUS horse for someone who wants to continue in this field, super attitude in the show ring and always complemented by judges.

Placed 3rd in her first show jumping show at 90cm - super sweet popping around with plenty of ability to go up the ranks - however perfect for someone who wants to built confidence over some small fences.

Great to do on the ground - muck out, brush,clip,wash,lead,farrier ,load onto trailer and box will travel alone or with company.

This mare has been ridden by an amateur and family friends would suit confident teenager and adults.

I bought Bluey from his breeder at weaning hoping he would be my next riding horse to bring on behind my current hunter/ team chaser.

But even though he still has some maturing to do, Blue is not going to finish as big as I had hoped, so he ls looking for a new home with a smaller rider. Blue is totally gorgeous to look at, just the best colour, and no white socks so always looks clean! He truly is an eye catcher. 

He has grown up on our farm on Exmoor being fed bales with tractors, having the barns mucked out with skid steers, and the sheep in his field checked with quads, so he is totally used to all sorts of machinery, noise, other animals, kids, dogs etc. He has been moved from summer to winter grazing in both trailer & lorry and has never minded being transported. 

He is a kind and willing character, a little slow to mature, but I would prefer that to having them overdone and putting stress on their joints. He's just a fabulous blank canvas really. 

In the school Bluey has shown to have a huge natural jump (we have only loose schooled him once in his life, for these pictures) and he has lovely movement. He could well go on to event or potentially even do pure dressage. 

We have lightly backed him, and are hacking him occasionally around the lanes. He has not yet been asked to do circles or jump under saddle, but he is willing and sweet natured and will soon come to being a lovely riding horse given more time and training. 

He has never bucked or reared throughout the backing process, and all his work has been really positive, so we feel he is at a great place for a competent rider to take over and start training him properly.

We are on Exmoor on the Devon / Somerset borders but we can deliver anywhere in UK.

BB is a lovely rangey horse who would like a job!

He moves beautifully on the flat, has a scopey jump and has hunted as a 4yo. With his current owner, he has been to many an arena hire and has previously won a British Novice.

BB is a lovely chap to have around and easy to do on the ground. He has even been handled and led by his current owners young children!

This lovely horse is looking for someone that will put a little work into his basics as he's a big horse and wants to be ridden forward. He is a little green in his schooling but is finding it very easy to learn new tricks (good ones!).

BB currently prefers company when hacking but is very good in traffic and will lead his friends around the village.

The right home is paramount for this horse as he is much loved! He would suit a hunting/ Team Chasing/ Showjumping home where he can unfold his full potential.

BB has had three sarcoids removed in January with no residue and no sign of new ones. He is up to date with vaccinations, feet, teeth etc.
