We currently seek a serious team player with the commitment & work ethic to take  advantage of what is undoubtedly a rare learning opportunity. 

You will be pressed to find a better schoolmaster on which to advance your skillset and experience more advanced movements. We can offer one to one training while working as a part of our team providing valuable all round experience in the training of dressage horses.

Steven and Joe Whitaker International show jumping stable based near Sheffield is seeking an experienced home rider and groom 



This role will be primarily to help develop our young horses and Ponies and general yard duties, though there will occasionally be opportunity to jump some more established horses. 



We are seeking someone experienced in producing young horses and ponies so ideally a light weight rider  



There will be opportunities to jump the horses at national shows 



We are passionate about producing the horses and ponies correctly keeping them healthy and happy .



Though there will be help and training from Steven and Joe when available 



We need someone that has a good understanding of how to confidently and correctly produce a young horse so that they have positive experiences.



This role can be live in or out - small single accommodation is available on site. 5 or 5.5 day week. Salary will be competitive based on experience .

• We are looking for a person who takes pride in what they do and have high standards in care and turn out
• Reliable full time groom to help look after our show jumping horses and brood mares
• Handling young stock

The position is varied and will include all aspects of stud work and requires a hands on, hard working and committed individual

Previous experience essential

Must be able to drive a car and tractor
