This mare is a beautiful, kind, safe superstar in the making. She always turns heads, is super safe, and at just 4 years old has already achieved high 60s at BD Prelim.

Professionally backed and produced, Hope has been in the same home since she was 5 months old. Originally purchased as a companion baby, Hope has been handled and produced in a soft, quiet, and calm way. Hope was backed last September and has been lightly hacked and schooled over the winter. She went out for her first outing in March and has pleased the judges with her attitude and paces every time. Considering she still needs more balance and practice, her self-carriage, obedience, and willingness to try are just fantastic.

She has 3 lovely, active paces, with an active trot that could really be produced further, while her walk and uphill canter have always been highlights. Hope has been out in the heaviest traffic, with other horses, and never worries. She has worked over poles on occasion, and last week she went for her first jumping lesson and proved there is nothing she will not have a go at—she loved it! We haven’t schooled cross-country yet, as that is next on our list, but I am certain that with her brave personality this will be just as easy. She has been ridden by a small adult and jumped by a 12-year-old girl.

Hope is forward in a lovely way and has never bucked, reared, or bolted. She trusts her person and is always wanting to please—she is NOT your typical bolshy Welsh! She is great to load and with the farrier, vets, etc. We have never clipped her, so I’m not sure about that. She has never been sick or lame, has no vices, and everything, including her teeth and vaccinations, is up to date. She even saw the physio on 06/04/26. She has been so easy to back and work with, a real sweetheart, and looks stunning!

Hope has done her companion job and is now ready for her own little person or people to have fun with. I can see this pony excelling in any discipline with the right home—a 5-star home that is prepared to put the time and effort in. We love Hope very much, and she will only be sold to the right family.

Based near Peterborough/Stamford.

  • Well handled and ready to start

3-year-old spotted dun SPSS-graded Sports Pony mare expected to finish at 14.2hh.

Home-bred as a higher-level PC/RC all-rounder prospect for a competitive amateur rider or experienced teenager, but would also suit endurance, western disciplines, mounted games or showing (e.g. spotted, part-bred Foreign Breeds, Sports Pony, part-bred native, or WHP).

Widgeon Hill Ceilidh is by Highland pony Balmoral Sport and out of the ApHC-registered and SPSS-graded mare Chamfron Chipita, who brings in versatile American Appaloosa and Quarter Horse performance bloodlines (including a dose of TB).

Ceilidh’s super conformation, movement, soundness and temperament earned her a Gold award at the August 2025 British Breeding Futurity where she was the top-scoring two-year-old at the Bromyard event. She also comfortably graded into the SPSS (Sports Pony Studbook Society) main mare studbook at the same time with a superb 18/20 temperament mark, and was award a Gold Premium SPSS Youngstock Evaluation as a 2 year old, building on her Premium award as a yearling.

- Registered and passported as a part-bred Highland
- Eligible for over-stamping by the UK ApHC as a part-bred
- Vaccinations, worm control programme, and teeth all up to date
- Genetic testing: six-panel negative, and temperament gene (DRD4) G/G - "horse may be more curious than vigilant" - which is entirely consistent with Ceilidh's sensible outlook to novel objects and situations!
- Good to catch, trim feet, groom, bath, lead, tie, travel etc
- Been to several large county shows - behaved beautifully
- Well handled with a solid groundwork foundation (leading, back-up, yielding shoulders and hind-quarters)
- Used to dogs, cats, pigs and poultry underfoot
- Lives out naked 24/7, but stables happily too
- Confident by herself in stables or field - doesn't mind her friends being taken away
- Open to vet
- Ceilidh has one blue eye and one brown eye, so if you can't stand horses with blue eyes, swipe left!

Ceilidh recently came home after spending the winter living out in a mixed-age herd of horses, one cow and two pigs (!) and is now available to view. Price is sensibly negotiable to the perfect home whilst she remains un-started, but will firm up once we commence starting her under saddle, and rise as her training progresses.

Situated in Herefordshire/Shropshire/Worcs border.

Please note: Ceilidh was originally advertised as to make around 15hh. This was an error: embarrassingly, I discovered my measuring stick was not locked out to full length and was adding 2" to Ceilidh's height.... unfortunately the HorseQuest strapline is still saying 14.3hh which is what I thought she was at that time, rather than 14.1.

Email/Text/WhatsApp messages preferred for initial enquiries as I can't usually answer my phone during office hours.

Woodview Bui is a beautiful Connemara Mare. She's simply the best! She is fabulous in every way. Beautifully schooled and produced with lovely paces.

Bui is in the ribbons every time. She is polite and calm but rises to the challenge and sparkles.

She had been Working Hunter Champion and Reserve Champion aged 4 and 5 at Peebles County Show. She's BE evented at 80 and 90 and always been in the top placings. Bui represented Scotland in the Under 18 Championships at Chillington Park. She was on the winning team jumping double clear and finishing 6th overall.

She is great to hack out alone or in company, sensible but great fun.

Bui is a really kind mare, she loves her work and tries hard to please her rider. She has a great trainable brain and relaxes into her work quickly and confidently.

Bui loves to jump and is getting better and better everytime. She's so brave and bold cross country ( but also safe!) She's never stopped or run out.

She is a serious prospect in WHP, Eventing and Dressage.

She had had 12 top 10 placings including 6th at Under 18 Championships. 4th and double clear at her 1st BE90 as a 5 year old. And never had a Cross Country fault. This season she has finished on her dressage score at both events coming 2nd and 5th. Now ready for the next step up.

Serious enquiries only as Bui deserves the absolute best home. She will be your pony of a lifetime and this sale is done with great reluctance.

Part-Bred Connemara Gelding – 140cm – 9 Years – Potential Top Track Pony. Eye-catching 9-year-old part-bred Connemara gelding standing at 140cm on the stick shod and with plenty of foot on (would measure in as a 138)

A genuine and talented pony with all the attributes to excel on the BSJA track.

He absolutely loves his jumping and shows great scope and enthusiasm, making him an exciting prospect for a competitive rider looking to progress. With the right partnership, he has the potential to be a top track pony.

Bold and confident in open spaces
Straightforward and easy to handle
Excellent to load, shoe, clip etc
Currently shod and has been kept in regular work

He has a kind nature and a willing attitude, making him a pleasure to have around.

Ready to continue his education and reach his full potential.

We mount him from the block. He is timid to mount but no malice and doesn’t “shoot” off just tenses a little through the back

He’s a typical jumping pony , uphill way of going and forward but with further education could make a cracking event pony

We would like to find an experienced home where he could reach his potential loose jumps over 120m popping courses of 90cm with a bigger jockey (we don’t have one small enough)

Serious enquiries only – please get in touch for more information

Mojo is well established, with 3 lovely paces and very good lateral movements. Recently qualified for regionals in Novice Silver and Area festival at Elementary level, with plenty of potential to continue progressing through the levels (learning changes at home).

Mojo is safe, sensible, naturally forward and eager to please.

Good to shoe, load, for the vets and travelling/stay away shows, easy to handle, hacks alone and in company.

I bought her straight from the breeders 9 years ago so full history is known, she has been ridden by friends with little to lots of experience and behaves impeccably for both.

Would suit a competition family/rider on the BD circuit where she will continue to develop and excel.

Super all rounder. He has lovely confirmation and is a real leg in each corner type. Approximately 15hands.

Brilliant in traffic, will go first or last and often used to lead or nanny other horses / kids off him.

Has won and been placed unaffiliated show jumping and done lots of xc schooling. Great with water and ditches.

Brilliant out hunting, has been with adult and child. Never strong or silly and always in a snaffle. Has done sponsored rides. Much more of a kick along type of ride.

Would make good m+m working hunter pony.

Class 1 breeding throughout.

  • Bakeburn Will I Am
13-year-old New Forest Gelding | 14.1hh (may measure 14.2hh with shoes)

Bakeburn Will I Am is a quality New Forest gelding with an excellent temperament and genuine talent, particularly for dressage.
He has had only three homes in his life and spent eight years at Lambourn RDA from the age of five. The chairman of the RDA, who also runs Lambourn RDA, felt he was simply too talented to remain in that environment, which is why he came to us last year.

As you would expect from an RDA pony, his ground manners are impeccable. Under saddle he is willing and straightforward, works easily into a correct outline, and naturally offers flying changes without fuss. He is keen to jump—still green but enthusiastic—and while he enjoys cross-country and was not strong, dressage is where he truly excels and shows obvious ability.

He hacks out alone, although he has more confidence with an adult walking nearby, which is understandable given his background. He is very sensible in company. Despite his RDA experience, he can be a little spooky with new things, but never in a nasty way, and he ignores many things that other ponies might react to.

In the field he enjoys company. He is currently turned out with a field mate but has also happily lived next to another pony. He is not dominant, very laid-back, and easy for a child to catch.

He is only for sale because hunting does not suit him; it excites him too much and he will not stand when the field stops. This is no reflection on his temperament or rideability in other disciplines.

A genuine, kind pony with excellent manners and real talent, looking for a home to focus on dressage and all-round activities.

Sollie has just started his ridden education earlier this year he has been very well handled from the start. He has been straightforward to break in and ride away, taking everything in his stride.

Sollie has 3 active paces with plenty of movement, a forward thinking pony and a true snaffle mouth. He absolutely loves his jumping and shows enormous ability over fences. Combined with a genuine attitude and willingness to learn Sollie is proving himself brave, bold and careful. He has huge scope to jump bigger fences when he is ready. He is quick thinking, light and clever with his feet. A real fun and talented showjump/event/hunting pony prospect.

Good to hack alone and in company, safe in traffic. No vices. An easy, well mannered pony to have about.

Sollie is ready to get out and about to continue his education, his steady start has given him time to mature and he’s more than ready to crack on now! Sollie has a very honest and gentle temperament he is still a young pony so no novice or nervous riders.

A real solid 146cm, flashy traditional who will hold his own in the county show ring or be a fun all rounder for a competent rider.

Thomas is a lovely cob and is a forward thinking ride, he is not a stuffy kick along cob and as such needs a rider who is used to a turbo cob type.

He was bought by current owner for HOYS / RI classes but owner is not well enough to take him in the ring herself and sadly daughter has lost interest, so he’s been a bit wasted and has just hacked round over the winter.

He’s got great paces and will really flick his toes on the flat, he’s got a lot of power and needs to be given an appropriate job, either showing , possibly dressage with a bit more flat work, doing RC etc.

He also enjoys his jumping and pops small fences happily for a change of activity. He’s the type who thrives on work so someone active who wants to really get stuck in would suit him best.

He was started under saddle late and as such is still a bit green for his age but very willing to learn and is a kind soul.

Thomas enjoys his hacking both alone and in company and is excellent on the road. He will go first or last.

He’s a lovely cob to have on the yard, happy to live in or out, good to catch, bath, clip/trim, shoe and polite in the stable.

Seen at livery.

Phoenix is a much-loved mare who has been an amazing first horse for my 13 year old daughter. She has had a huge amount of fun on her, but my daughter is now ready to step up a level at eventing.

Phoenix is a great all rounder, she is brilliant to hack and will go for hours, she never bucks or rears. She loves cross country, and does a beautiful dressage test.

She enjoys show jumping and trains at up to 1m at home, but this is where we have found inconsistencies as out competing, she can have issues at 80 or 90cm and put in refusals. As my daughter is passionate about Eventing, she wants to move onto a horse that is happy in both SJ and XC at 90+.

Phoenix absolutely loves cross country, placing 3rd at a recent 80 Hunter Trial. She attended XC Camp at Pontispool in March 2026 and was happily flying over 90/1m fences, not putting a foot wrong all weekend.

We have had many happy outings on her and successes including qualifying for pony club regional SJ and dressage, Horse Events Amateur Eventing Champs at 70, placed 5th in Pony Club Regional dressage, in 2025.

However, my daughter is ready to step up to 90 Eventing and so we are looking for a new, lovely home for Phoenix.

Phoenix would suit a home looking to do dressage, fun rides, hunter trials, pony club/ riding club, camps, SJ training at clinics or at home , or if competitively then up to 70cm as we have found that at 80cm+ her competitive show jumping can be inconsistent.

She is a lovely mare to have at home, she gets on well with other horses, is happy to live in or out (although does love her turnout).

She travels well on lorry or trailer, great to clip, good for the farrier (can appreciate someone standing with her, but is fine), stands calmly for hours at the trailer all day when out.

She is up to date with vaccinations and dentist.

Sold with tack (Kent and Masters jump saddle, Lemieux stud girth, bridle, martingale) and rugs.

The Wicker Man is a top racing pony. At only 7yrs of age he is still improving and his results prove this.

This pony has been ultra consistent this season winning 3 races and placed on all of his starts, he is currently leading the national point to point pony rankings. He is a top class 138 racing pony who this season has shown what a good, established racing pony he is. He hasn't run a bad race all season and has taught Molly so much about racing.

Rocco has been produced by my daughter since we bought him as a 4yr old and he attended pc senior camp, indoor rallies, fun rides and hound exercise to give him an alround education.

Rocco is very easy at home, he happily lives in or out, good to clip, bath, shoe and travels in trailer or lorry. He hacks and gallops on his own or in company, snaffle mouth at all times.

This is a very sad and genuine sale of a very talented pony but he is now outgrown and we would love him to go on to a good racing family to contest both the point to point and racecourse series. He has to be sold at the end of the point to point season so please if you are looking for a racing pony to take you into the winners enclosure on a regular basis get in touch. Happy to consider genuine offers to good racing homes as he now really must be sold.
