Rose is a 143 WHP , fully registered class 1 Connemara, by Gwennic de Goariva .

We have owned Rose for three years now and she has been an amazing pony for my daughter taking her from jumping 70cm to 110cm , competing at HOYS and RI and giving her confidence as a nervous rider to jump championship tracks.

The previous owners had Rose for five years and she was the top WHP in Ireland , doing everything from eventing, show jumping, combined training, hunter trailing, XC, dressage etc.

With us , Rose qualified for the RI on her first attempt in 2023. She took my daughter to the RI and HOYS in 2023 and qualified for both the RI and HOYS in 2024.

Unfortunately, my daughter was ill after HOYS 2024 and during the Summer of this year . Hence, due to illness and taking her GCSE’s she hasn’t competed on Rose until the beginning of July . Our intention was then to do some of the M and M HOYS qualifiers, but to our amazement she has done a few plaited HOYS tracks and jumped the M and M Desert Orchid at the BSPS Summer Championships , always gaining the top ride and confirmation marks in the plaited . However, narrowly missing out on her HOYS ticket .

Rose is beautifully schooled and
we also believe she would make an amazing event or pony club pony. Rose is a very kind pony , who isn’t spooky, doesn’t look at anything and is perfect to hack.

Also, good to catch , shoe , box and clip .

Starting to gain experience in dressage, would produce a lovely novice test.

Would make a fabulous allrounder in the right home.

Not suitable for a novice as he can have typical Welsh moments.

He isn't a happy hacker as not keen on large vehicles like buses and wagons.

True character, full of affection an loves a cuddle.

Good to handle on the ground and in and out of his stable.

Travels well in a 3.5T and trailer however he does prefer to have company.

Does require sedation for clipping and teeth but he is a lightweight.

Only for sale as daughter wants to keen showing, as he is pb and she's 17 we can no longer show him. He is absolutely adored and this is a very difficult decision.
