This well bred Connemara mare is one not to be missed. Easy in all respects, happy to live in or out and with a superb temperament she is ready for a competitive or recreational home and equally suited to both.

Poppy was backed as a 6 year old in September 2019 having produced a stunning colt foal in summer 2018. Her kind nature has shone through both as a mother and in her acceptance of her new career as a riding horse.

She has been the easiest of horses to back and bring on and has shown enthusiasm combined with a sensible work attitude .

Poppy already hacks on and off road and is used to traffic and farm machinery. She has cantered in open spaces and maintained her mannerly disposition and is happy alone or in company.

We have recently introduced Poppy to coloured fences and she has travelled in our small lorry. This mare just takes everything in her stride.

We have taken great care to give this little mare the best start in life and now she is ready to start the next chapter. She would suit a petite adult or teenager and make a perfect mother/daughter share. We are looking for a home with the experience to bring out the best in this talent for the future.

Abergavenny Zena 14.2 11 year old bay mare out of Trevallion Picasso.

I bought Zena two years ago as a project. She is a character to have on the yard and this is a heart breaking decision.

I would rather sell her as a brood mare (she has produced some stunning foals when she was used as a broodmare) or a companion.

She will not pass a vetting due to a swollen tendon, I have looked into this and there is no obvious reason as to why it’s swollen.

This is reflected in the price.

This lovely mare was purchased from the travellers 2 years ago heavily in foal, which she produced 2 months later when she had gained condition. She has obviously had several foals and is an excellent mother. She produced a stunning skewbald colt with the most amazing temperament who should make 15hh traditonal type. He can be seen.

I was told she was a trotter cob x tb and had mainly done pleasure rides.

She enjoys being ridden and works in an outline in walk and trot . Canter transitions a little hard under saddle but spot on lungeing. Pops a small jump. 

This mare does everything on a mission and with a purpose, even walking across to the water trough! She is forward going and takes you but sensible, so not suitable for a novice. Has a big walk and trot but has learnt to slow down. 

She will live in or out and is easy to look after. Good in all ways. Loves having attention and will call to you.

Home is paramount as that is what she deserves. For sale as sadly I don't drive or have a small rider.
