We bought Artie for my daughter when she was 13 years old and over the last 5 years, he has taught her everything and more and he truly means the world to her.
TO LEASE as daughter is leaving for uni in September.
Artie is a brilliant allrounder who knows his job well and will enjoy teaching someone else the ropes. He likes to be kept busy, so for this reason we are looking for an active home who will treat him like the champ he is. Artie would suit an active PC/RC home so not suitable as a first pony or a novice rider.
He has three correct, floaty and balanced paces on the flat, a lovely ride and will produce a neat test. He is careful, clever and scopey over courses of show jumps, and is most comfortable around 1m. He isn’t bothered by coloured fillers and is always willing to give everything a go.
Artie and my daughter have competed at Senior BS shows at British Novice and consistently come home with ribbons. He has competed in the Hickstead Main Ring and has been partaking in NSEA events for over 3 years. He is a true pony club pony and has attended 3 residential pony club camps and multiple clinics and rallies. He has competed for the pony club at 80 ,90 and 100cm.
He will hack out happily alone and in company around open fields and roads, fantastic in traffic and does not panic around farm machinery/traffic. Rides and leads or will happily be lead on the buckle. Artie absolutely adores the beach and the odd swim in the sea, he keeps his cool no matter the pace set.
Such an easy, kind horse on the ground with a lovely nature. Artie is brilliant to box, travel, clip and shoe etc. He is up to date with vaccinations, teeth and chiropractor.
A lovely allrounder for someone who wants to go out and have fun.
Always snaffle mouthed, has zero vices and like every typically connie, lives on fresh air.
Comes with full wardrobe.
