The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There’s no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet, that’s not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

We are looking for the next Pony to join our family to take part in all things Pony club, SJ, WH, lots of hacking, lessons/arena hires.

The Pony would be cared for by myself on a small private yard near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire along with our 3 other horses.

I hack regularly with my two children so a Pony that is safe cantering in open spaces and being handled by children is must.

My daughter is keen on jumping so a pony that has been there, done it, loves its job and not phased by fillers etc.

Please no youngsters/green or project ponies. We can offer a long term home for the right pony as i have a younger daughter too.

A smart lead rein pony and a great jumper who loves having a job to do. He has completed Pony Club camps, attended numerous rallies, and has done plenty of showing.

With a previous owner he successfully competed in affiliated M&M workers with a bigger child, showing his ability and love for jumping.

He has also been out hunting on the lead rein and would happily go all day.

He is never sick or sorry and has been a fun pony to have around.

Unfortunately my daughter is still a little nervous and he is too much pony for her off the lead rein. Off the lead rein he can be forward and keen, as he enjoys getting on with his work.

Has attending all pc activities. He is always a pleasure to take anywhere very polite and easy to do, he is swarmed with admirers and gives lots of cuddles and kisses!

Great to hack, jumps logs, ditches and loves water: will hack alone or in groups isn’t bothered about going solo or being on his own. He’s a little mountain goat at heart! He will lead others, go first or last and fairly sound in heavy traffic as we have to hack on main roads.

XC machine, loves it!

Has shown under saddle winning 3/3 classes. If required I can have his passport over stamped by CHAPS if this is important to his next owners.

Has done a little bit of mounted games as I teach it at pony club, all our ponies get to have a go. Has shown potential and hasn’t done any since August last year, he has competed in 1 display team with us and attended team training sessions.

Schooling, balance and strength is going very well hence his ability to wow in the show ring, or dressage arena, however this needs continuing to really balance and strengthen him long term. Equally will drop down in a contact for little riders without them doing much! Would be super working hunter prospect also.

He is such an easy versatile little chap who’s competition fit and always comes home in the ribbons every time out, looking for his perfect partner.

Ruby is a very well-rounded little pony who has been produced to go on and do any job. She attends clinics and arena hires weekly, she has been to the beach, on fun rides and out hunting. She is a pleasure to take out on adventures. She’s good to load, travel, stand on the box, and occasionally stays over at friends’ yards for the night - settling in nicely wherever she goes.

Ruby lives at home with us on a working farm so is used to farm machinery, quad bikes, cows, dogs etc. and is easy to handle on the ground in all ways. She will happily live in or out, alone or with company.

Ruby really shines in her schooling. She is responsive to the aids without being too forward, and beautifully light in the hand. She’s starting to work in a lovely outline which is becoming more consistent each session.

Her jumping is a little green due to her age, but she is proving to be sweet and straightforward to a fence. She carries a nice rhythm and does not rush or pull. She would be a contender for Novice WHP classes this year.

Ruby can be spooky to hack but this is improving each week. Her recent day-out hunting has done wonders for her confidence and I’m sure this will all click into place soon.

She is up to date with all appointments (including teeth and physio), is clean limbed with no vices or vet history.

Ruby is going to be a super pony for someone and will be missed by us greatly.
She is in full work and will continue to go out training/to shows over the coming weeks until she finds her new home. I would love to stay in touch with her new family.
