Meet Sonny, 13.2hh brilliant 1st competition pony, he is bold and brilliant with the heart of a lion and years of experience under his belt.
18 yrs young Sonny is forward, responsive, and absolutely loves his job, equally he will step down and teach a more novice child without getting hot or strong, he is not a novice pony though and needs a child with experience.
Sonny has consistently been placed in unaffiliated showjumping up to 80cm he is bold and brave across country perfect for ODEs and hunter trials.
Established flatwork with 3 balanced paces, he loves to hack alone or in company.

We bought Sonny 2 yrs ago when my daughter was just 7yrs old, he has helped my daughter jump up to 80cm confidently competing, he is a true schoolmaster for a capable, confident rider looking to learn and win.

This is a heartbreaking sale due to being outgrown. Sonny means the world to us and will only go to a 5-star, knowledgeable home where he will continue to shine. We have hundreds of photos and videos that we can share.

A 14.1 Irish sports Connemara Pony

Dusty has the most fantastic movements: the dressage judges love him and he often gets scores in the teens and lower 20s.

In 2023, he won the 80cm Cotswold Cup championships three day event and came 5th the following year in the 90cm class. He won at BE 90 cm at Dauntsey Park and Little Gatcombe; and 5th at Chillington Hall regional championships in 2024

He has qualified again for the BE regional championships this Autumn; and qualified for the grassroots at Badminton 2025.

He’s only ever been lightly evented; as it’s had to fit in around my family life and work.

This pony has still got a huge future before him be it eventing, pure dressage or showing.

He never been lame. He is good with the blacksmith, having studs put in, hacking, loading and around the yard, etc etc.

He’s only for sale as I want another project to bring on, I’m looking for a 5 start home for this talented pony.
