He’s an absolute sweetheart on the ground — loves attention and will happily stand all day to be groomed and pampered.
Vander is currently being professionally started and is taking everything in his stride like a true gentleman. Hes proving to be a quick learner with a lovely attitude. Because of this, he’s not yet available for ridden viewings until he’s a more finished product, but once he begins getting out and about, his price will reflect his continued education and experience.

What's not to love! 14.1 / bum 14.2hh (not official measured) smart traditional coloured gelding rising 5. Registered piebald so enough white on his body to be competed in coloured classes (and liked at Chaps 2024). registered chaps last year and really did us proud in hand. see pictures.

He was placed in all his classes and went thru to evening performance.

His movement is great and he has considerable power in his gaits, so I would hope he could excel at showing or a mix of winter hunting and summer fun. He is a blank canvas ready for his next adventures.

He is not a kids pony. He may be in many years to come but right now he needs consistency in handling and training.

His learning has been incredible, taken at his pace, There are no vices and no problems to report, but that is because he has been given the best start.

He is an absolute delight to be around. Good to catch (usually canters to the gate), load in the trailer, lead, tie up, brush and clip. Loves attention.

Lightly backed and ridden away by my 10yr old son. Very sensible. No issues when not ridden for a few days. Still behaves the same. No need to lunge first.
Hacks out on the road and behaves perfectly. Ridden in the menage and 15 acre field with no issues.

He is thought to mature as a full up 148cm competition horse or would also make a cracking 15h working hunter. He is 3/4 Connemara and is bred to event.

He is by Glencarrig Tempest, who is a full Connemara and is full brother to the event stallion Glencarrig Dolphin. On the Dam's side, his grandmother was Daytona Bay who jumped 140cms, who I still own, and his mother is Little Daytona who is by Templebready Fear Bui.

Little Daytona had a very successful career BS, BD and fun eventing.

Bean is very nicely and correctly put together with 3 great paces and a very biddable and trainable attitude.

He is lovely to be around and has been well handled from birth. He is easy to lead, take rugs on and off and is good with the farrier.

He went on his 1st outing xc schooling around somerford when he was a little star and took it all in his stride.
