Sad sale of this super standard Shetland,

This boy deserves to be doing so much more and is currently waisted with me being a nanny and occasionally being ridden.

He is a top class county contender and would ultimately suit a junior although we have had so much fun doing local shows winning lead-rein. Fancy dress , thewell abit of driving .loves hacking out .

He loves the attention being groomed and generally handled ,he’s has so much potential and would love to find a home where he will be utilised and loved.

Top class prospect for the Shetland National or Performance Teams 2025

Mavis was purchased in the Summer 2023 as an unbroken 6yo to produce for a young jockey to Shetland race this year. Sadly the jockey has grown and now exceeds the height requirements. Mavis is a stunning 7yo standard shetland, professionally produced and proving to be an absolute star! Her siblings race very successfully and she will follow in their footsteps for sure. She has been to a couple of little shows, jumps very well and would also excel in the world of showing

Evie has been shown since a yearling, and is trained lovely to voice. Responsive and respectful.

Always in the ribbons. We had evie professionally broken to ride.. on her return Home we just hacked.

Evie took it all in her stride and says yes to absolutely everything. She's had a break and now back in work.

We have done minimal work In the school So she is green in this area.however we've done few arena,hires and she's proved willing. Daughter can hack her alone and I know evie will look after her.

She has an unflappable nature so would be perfect for a small child on the lead.. However we have only ever ridden her off.

She loves hacking and stands patiently for cars lorries tractors and bikes. Totally unphazed by anything.

She loads and travels well in company or alone. Well behaved to shower /Farrier and gently be faffed with by a child.

Like most natives evie can get fat on fresh air. She is currently having her weight managed..its coming g off slowly but surely..hence just hacking at the moment till fitter. Price does reflect this.

She has never had laminitis..but she is good at getting off her grazi muzzle. Hence the weight gain..

Any questions please dont hesitate to ask. Full history known as I purchased from a good friend to breed,once my daughter had outgrown her.but my circumstances have now changed so won't be breeding her. The right home is very important

Truly gut wrenching sale of this pony of a lifetime. He has given us so much but with our need changing the time is right to find him his next family.

Tortoise is a big moving, scopey Shetland. He has been a HOYS finalist as an open and on the Lead Rein (home produced) and the Royal International on the lead and first ridden.

He has the most fantastic walk and is well schooled in all paces.

He has great ability over fences and really loves the challenge of jumping. He did a season of junior workers and performed well with some near misses. He has also been lightly contested in junior flat HOYS classes being placed second on a couple of occasions- he would be perfect for this job.

Tortoise is a performance pony, he love to use his body and would excel in Workers, Opens and Juniors - he is also a fabulous first ridden for an established confident jockey that wants to do more than trot round in the arena and give him a varied lifestyle.

He qualified for the Royal International this year in the First Ridden with a nervous jockey in her first season of showing at this level

He has just given us the most brilliant week at NPS summer champs, featuring in the concours, pairs and LR evening performances with a 3rd, 2nd and 8th. He also won the Showing Classics LR Final.

We have a house full of rosette, trophies and sashes from him, he really has made all our dreams come true.

He is very easy to have at home and is always handled by little children, he is perfect to hack/feet/jabs/teeth/load/travel.

Cookie - Our lovely little Cookie is looking for her new little person , Cookie is 10’2 , or 42 ins she is very willing with a lovely attitude , she is unfazed by cars and other traffic.

Cookie is regularly handled and ridden by a 9 year old

Superb to handle, easily caught and lead in from the field. Has been seen by the farrier and happy to have her feet trimmed. A total pleasure to have on the yard. Will stand quiet in her stable or tie up sensibly on the yard. Cookie will make some family a wonderful little pony.

Cookie is a lead rein pony and will happily follow or be lead around , is quiet and sensible in all ways loves hacking around the woods off lead and popping poles in the school also has driven on the roads etc
