Fantastic Pony Club pony and incredible hunting pony. Such a sad sale as outgrown. Taken my daughter from 70 to 1 metre; does all NSEA and Pony Club teams and BE.

Loves children, dogs. No vices, easy to shoe, box, catch, standalone, travel alone.

A total schoolmaster in all disciplines.

Five star home required as he is part of the family. I have endless videos of him in action.

Photos too. Please no timewasters

Dinarthall Daffodil-Daffy is a beautiful 7 year old Connemara mare. She has good bone and a typical Connemara Stamp.

A real head turner. She moves well on the flat has fantastic paces and has seen everything from BD dressage, working Hunter, arena eventing, pony club and beach rides.

Her absolute passion is jumping and is currently been comfortably jumping 90cm courses and is extremely brave. She is forward going but a sensible ride. As well as having amazing scope, she makes a fantastic shape over fences.

She would suit a teenager / small adult who enjoys jumping and cross country. She has been cross country schooled and is happy over ditches, water, skinnies etc.

Hacking out she is happy either out the front or behind and is good in traffic, used to both farm machinery and cars and will pass with no problem.

She is fit and ready to move on to her new challenge.

Rules for Showing

Prospective purchasers of Connemara ponies should be aware that under BCPS Rules for showing – ‘No Connemara exceeding 148cm may be shown or take part in any competition restricted to Connemara or Registered Mountain and Moorland ponies within the jurisdiction of the BCPS.’

‘Where it is reported to the Society that this may have occurred then the Society may require the animal to be measured or re-measured in accordance with the Rules of the Joint Measurement Scheme -

The penalty for the contravention of the above Rule may be cancellation of the registration of the animal concerned

They should also realise that both the Irish and British Connemara Societies register ponies under a classification system. Briefly, all foals are registered as Class 3. Adult ponies (2 years and over) – Stallions and Mares – are registered in Class 1 if they pass a visual and Veterinary inspection, and as Class 2 if they fail the visual, but pass the Vet, or are over or under height, or blue eyed creams, and as Class 3 if they fail the Vet or have not been inspected

The progeny of Class 3 ponies remain in Class 3 and cannot be upgraded

It is suggested that purchasers should ask to see the pony’s passport to verify the Class of the pony, and should contact the BCPS Secretary if they have any queries on the details given below
