6 year old 12hh approx,grey Dartmoor pony gelding. A stocky, chunky chap. Supplementary registered.

Prior to coming here in Jan of this year, he has been allowed to slowly mature and grow, on a conservation grazing site on Dartmoor.

He now ties up, is wearing a bridle and roller and a ‘klibber’ pack saddle, and is regularly walked out on the lanes here, proving sensible with all traffic he has encountered, including tractors.

Good with the farrier, just seen the dentist.

A really lovely pony, who has the potential for a riding or driving prospect with an experienced, calm and confident person.

Would do well with more horses/ponies around than what he has here.

He has too much potential to stay here, and has way surpassed my expectations. Hence sale.

Good to catch. Turns out separately or in company. Currently stabled at night, but also happy to stay out.

Harry had been a wonderful pony for my daughter but sadly she won’t stop growing so we’ve made the hard decision that he needs to find a new jockey to win sashes for.

Just missed qualifying for hoys last year by 1 mark at the last qualifier as we had only just collected him that week.

He knows his job well and thrives on it. Easily qualified RI and placed well in the few hoys he has done this year. He was 4th at hoys before we got him.

Never sick or sorry. No plugs or calmers. Great at big county shows in buzzy atmospheres.

He has won many sashes and supremes with us and would not be for sale if our daughter wasn’t as tall.

12yrs Reg Dartmoor Gelding
Owned for 5 years, purchased from the breeder as a blank canvas.

Dylan is an absolute mothers dream to handle, catch, clip, loading, travelling and will stand alone on a trailer. Handled by children and inexperienced adults.

He has done a mix of things, he is well schooled by a small adult and walks, trots, canters and stops when asked. Enjoys jumping and has a cracking jump just needs consistency.
Has done dresssge, SJ, WH, handy pony, hound exercise, affiliated showing BSPS, NPS. Was 2nd in the Dartmoor Picton final at the summer champs. He's never been schooled by a child as my son isn't an experienced rider and only just coming off the lead rein. However with a confident child I feel this is where he will excel. He has been ridden by children in a school environment. He hacks forever and is 110% on the road, combines, tractors, machinery, lorrys, cars and trains, nothing phases him, alone, in company, the front or the back. Had group lessons and private lessons.
Lunges, long lines, has been swimming and on a treadmill.

Up to date with teeth, vaccines and physio.

Currently lives on a farm alone, so used to a very busy working farm, turned out with sheep and stabled next to cattle. Has also been to yards for holiday and schooling stays and is still a dream. Never naps, shouts or misbehaves at shows. As most small natives he is managed as a potential for Laminitis a good diet, correct turnout (currently muzzled and out overnight) and exercise is all that is required.

Dylan needs a kind, sympathetic, and experienced home and I am in no rush for him to go anywhere, a 10* home is the upmost priority.

To include Black Country saddle, Meynell bridle and selection of good quality rugs.

Irish Freddie
6yr old Dartmoor hill pony.

Freddie is an awesome happy hacker on or off the leadrein, he is a good 12.2hh, extremely well built and takes up the leg.

He rides out at home or away in company or on his own adventures very well. He pops a jump.

This summer he has been to pony club camp, endurance rides, lessons, hacked around the farm alone or with company.

The children handle him. Travels and loads well.

Freddie deserves to have his own little person or a small adult as I just simply don’t have the time.

He is not a first year first ridden yet as he has only been in consistent work this year since April therefore is unsuitable for an inexperienced family although my 6yr old and 9yr old ride him.

Maisey was only backed at 11yrs old and so has very low miles and still looks incredible. She has plenty more years in her teaching lucky children.

We have owned Maisey for 3 years now. We bought her for our 4yr old son who has done everything on her since -PC camp x3, rallies, Showing, mounted games, SJ Beach holidays and endless hacking.

Maisey is a perfect lead rein pony. She trots or canters when you run and stops when you stop. She doesn’t nibble or annoy the handler and will stand all day. Never bitten, kicked or pulled a face. She will be pampered all day long. She will also take a child off the lead, jumping a small 30cm course of showjumps happily.

Maisey will happily be led off another horse and I have cantered down a huge beach leading my 5yr old on her. She is totally trustworthy. Not one to get fizzy when others canter off away from her. She can have weeks off and will be exactly the same when you get back on.

Maisey is the lowest maintenance pony. She is bare foot, will live in or out, and lives on fresh air. She has no veterinary history and never had lami.

Homes will be vetted and we would love another experienced pony club home for this gem of a pony. We are still in contact with her 3 previous owners which is credit to her nature .
