Great breeding , Sire is Moortown Countryman and Dam Shilstone Rocks North Wind. Previously successfully shown and qualified for RIHS.

Currently barefoot, great with farrier. He will stand all day to be groomed and bathed, he absolutely loves being fussed over and pampered.

Great on lead rein, never puts a foot wrong.

Off lead rein suited to a confident child.

Has done PC activities and some showing with us, loves to jump and not phased by fillers or working hunter jumps. He has also done fancy dress.

He does prefer to travel with a companion.

Fabulous quality lead rein pony, true to type. Rio has taken to his job so well.

A late starter as he was just a lad in a field when we bought him for his undeniably fabulous looks and conformation.

He has come home and been well handled by the children all summer, leading, grooming, feet picked out and all the lovely things with kids.

We then sent him to Sam and Georgia Darlington to be broken and brought on which he has done with a smile on his face.

Lead rein is his absolute job and he loves it, just does not put a foot wrong.

So there we are, as the grandchild he was destined for has other ideas so he is for sale to go on and delight a new family.

We are looking for a superstar pony for our petite 8 year old (120cm) approx 11.2 - 12.2hh

He is walking, trotting and cantering off the lead and currently trotting small courses up to about 40cm.

We are looking for a kind, experienced pony who can hold his hand and help his confidence soar and safely take him out to competitions - primarily dressage and showjumping. Must know their job and not constantly test as the nerves can sometimes creep in.

Will have a varied life to include lessons, beach rides, farm picnic rides, hacking, NSEA and pony club.
Must go for little legs and be suitable for a child to handle.

We would love a true child’s best friend - the sort you can do fancy dress on at your local show, go to camp or stay aways without them getting unsettled and most importantly, something that enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses!

Some minor health conditions considered as long as disclosed and reflected in the price.

We are an experienced family home and have a younger sibling waiting in the wings, so would like something that we can treasure for many years.

Daughter broke her back last year and now feels ready to get back riding – so we need something safe and sensible. We have an experienced and knowledgeable farm home but ideally want a horse that has “been there and done it.” That said, the main requirement is a happy hacker and easy to deal with – the sort you can jump on or box up and go for a nice hack.

1. Must hack alone and in company
2. Not strong
3. 14.3hh – 15.3hh (for petite 5ft1 riders)
4. Bonus if seen hounds (may like to go hunting quietly a few times, but not essential)

We are looking for the next Pony to join our family to take part in all things Pony club, SJ, WH, lots of hacking, lessons/arena hires.

The Pony would be cared for by myself on a small private yard near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire along with our 3 other horses.

I hack regularly with my two children so a Pony that is safe cantering in open spaces and being handled by children is must.

My daughter is keen on jumping so a pony that has been there, done it, loves its job and not phased by fillers etc.

Please no youngsters/green or project ponies. We can offer a long term home for the right pony as i have a younger daughter too.
