3 expressive correct paces with established lateral work, and a scopey, confident and consistent jump. Dressage is consistently in the 20’s low 30’s . Double clear machine!

Over the past couple of years Barney has had a varied life full of success and fun with my daughter competing SJ, eventing and dressage, Completing Cotswold cup with many successful placings 90-100cm level

SJ to 1m10, with scope for higher levels. He has done NSEA, RC , camps and championships SJ amd Eventing.

During this time he has also been a fabulous companion to my daughter hacking alone and in company, fun on the beach, clinics and lessons and a general friend for her to have the pleasure of looking after, after a hard day of college/Uni.

Now off to uni full time we feel it is in the best interests of the horse we find him a new home where he can carry on been enjoyed and bring another rider lots of success and pleasure.

Barney is excellent in traffic, is a calm confident horse to hack , alone and in company. (On the buckle)

Is excellent to handle and do around the yard . Good with the Farrier,clip, teeth.

Barney is a straightforward ride in all 3 phases, yet very classy, successful competition horse who attracts so much love and attention wherever he goes. His attitude is amazing, he loves to work and compete and always tries his best to please. Barney is good enough to pursue pure dressage or showjumping, or could climb the levels eventing.

This is a hard sale, so please no time wasters, no beginners, although Barney has an exceptional brain we would like him to go to a competent , competitive home. He is forward of the leg and for this reason is not a novice ride .

15hh upwards, 4 - 10 years and open to ideas from an established dressage horse, to an eventer needing to step away from jumping (but with the ability to go straight in at least at elementary) to a green youngster with walk, trot and canter installed.

Must (non negotiable) load and travel happily in both lorry and trailer. Also, ideally hack both alone and in company including in wide open spaces/moors and be comfortable with all types of traffic.

Absolutely must be sound and straight but stable vices and non soundness related issues will all be acceptable.

Carrot 

Carrot has been with us since a foal.
He's grown up on a working farm therefore is great around large machinery, farm animals kids dogs ect.

He is handled daily by young children.

Carrot been started slow and left to mature /fill out. There for he is still very green but ready for someone to produce a lovely horse.

Carrot has 3 lovely well balanced paces, he does have low mileage and is still green.
He's always willing to learn and very level head for a young horse.

Luxe is a very special girl and was a fabulous mum to a beautiful champagne foal, now 5 year old. Luxe is kind, safe, willing and quick to learn. Having had some lameness issues, she is now 100 per cent sound and has been in consistent, steady work from the end of March.
She hacks out well on her own and in company and is very good in traffic.

She has lovely paces and is going nicely in the school although still a little green. I think she will come on quickly as she tries so hard to please. She enjoys pole work, has done some Le Trec. She is good to handle ( she loves a bit of pampering! )

She loads well and stands for the the farrier. She would suit anyone looking to have a fun horse to do a bit of everything but at this stage would probably do best in a knowledgeable home, a five star home is the first priority.
She is open to vet but would like to sell asap due to. owners poor health.

Sadly the time has come for us to look for Toby’s next home as he is now outgrown.
11 year old 14.1 coloured cob.
Toby was our daughter’s 2nd pony, and has taken her from jumping 50/60cm 3 years ago to competing in the PC80 Burghly ODE last month.
He has been to 3 pony club camps - the 1st only a few weeks after we got him, & awarded most improved pony the 2nd year, finishing second on competition day.
He is a genuine all rounder - loves show jumping, cross country and will hack out for hours.
He has jumped in the NSEA finals at Hickstead, and the pony club champs twice.
He is more turbo cob than kick along when competing, but safe to hack out alone or in company. Good in traffic - used to tractors etc. has had complete novices riding him on the roads.
He can forget his manners at times, however he has been handled by our daughter since she was 11, with occasional use of a control head collar. Good to box, shoe and no vices, however we have always sedated him to clip.

Luna is a stunning 7 year old chestnut Welsh B. We have owned her for nearly 2 years, but unfortunately my two daughters have lost interest in riding. She has been ridden by both a 10 year old and 7 year old, but would be suited to a confident older child as she is second pony. Forward and responsive to the leg. She has low mileage and is fit and healthy.

She is a sweet but sassy mare, full of potential if she goes to a good knowledgeable home. She has shown her self to be inquisitive and bold and loves to go out, especially hacking out to places like the beach and country parks.

Can be groomed by children but likes to know what you’re doing, so likes a good sniff of each brush!

She has been out to do working hunter, overnight camps, has done some pony games and seen most equipment and experienced a competition. She can be excited when she first arrives but really settles when she has a job to do and wants to get on with it. She could be suited well to hunting or pony racing as she has speed. Would turn her hoof to many disciplines, she needs a job to keep her focused.

Luna is barefoot.
She is great for the farrier, great for the dentist, great on the ground and loads well with encouragement.

Dislikes
Tractors- hasn’t had much experience meeting this machinery
Baths- Not nasty, just would rather I didn’t throw cold water on her!
She is still being ridden by a small adult doing flat work, kept active with other activities such as going out on hacks etc.

She doesn’t need to be ridden everyday - (sometimes we struggle to get her out for weeks at a time and as soon as you get back on her, it’s like nothing has changed)

She is good to hack out alone and in company (goes out more alone than she does with someone)

Good in all traffic- lorrie’s, tractors, cars, walkers. you name it, she doesn’t flicker an eye!

She is good for the farrier (currently unshod), vet and travel and lives out all year round. We will be so sorry to see her go but also don;t want to see her wasted here. She deserves to be out there having fun with someone who can give more to her. 5 * home only
