Sadly the time has come for us to look for Toby’s next home as he is now outgrown.
11 year old 14.1 coloured cob.
Toby was our daughter’s 2nd pony, and has taken her from jumping 50/60cm 3 years ago to competing in the PC80 Burghly ODE last month.
He has been to 3 pony club camps - the 1st only a few weeks after we got him, & awarded most improved pony the 2nd year, finishing second on competition day.
He is a genuine all rounder - loves show jumping, cross country and will hack out for hours.
He has jumped in the NSEA finals at Hickstead, and the pony club champs twice.
He is more turbo cob than kick along when competing, but safe to hack out alone or in company. Good in traffic - used to tractors etc. has had complete novices riding him on the roads.
He can forget his manners at times, however he has been handled by our daughter since she was 11, with occasional use of a control head collar. Good to box, shoe and no vices, however we have always sedated him to clip.

Luna is a stunning 7 year old chestnut Welsh B. We have owned her for nearly 2 years, but unfortunately my two daughters have lost interest in riding. She has been ridden by both a 10 year old and 7 year old, but would be suited to a confident older child as she is second pony. Forward and responsive to the leg. She has low mileage and is fit and healthy.

She is a sweet but sassy mare, full of potential if she goes to a good knowledgeable home. She has shown her self to be inquisitive and bold and loves to go out, especially hacking out to places like the beach and country parks.

Can be groomed by children but likes to know what you’re doing, so likes a good sniff of each brush!

She has been out to do working hunter, overnight camps, has done some pony games and seen most equipment and experienced a competition. She can be excited when she first arrives but really settles when she has a job to do and wants to get on with it. She could be suited well to hunting or pony racing as she has speed. Would turn her hoof to many disciplines, she needs a job to keep her focused.

Luna is barefoot.
She is great for the farrier, great for the dentist, great on the ground and loads well with encouragement.

Tractors- hasn’t had much experience meeting this machinery
Baths- Not nasty, just would rather I didn’t throw cold water on her!
She is still being ridden by a small adult doing flat work, kept active with other activities such as going out on hacks etc.

Cara is a very well bred Irish draught mare. She is for sale due to no fault of her own, only that we have too many horses and she is being wasted at the moment. She still has many good years left to bring someone a lot of fun.

Cara is a jumping machine and has always been very clean over a fence. She was ridden by a young girl at the beginning of her career and went on to hunt for a large part of her life by an older man in his 60’s. She will get you safely over drains, hedges, etc. You can jump off and get back on no bother she will stand. She can do gates no need to get off. She is a point and go type of mare and loves to jump! Cara will hack alone or in company but really enjoys the companionship of other horses. She loves to hack through the woods and go for a gallop in the fields. Peppa is a great all rounder, has competed up to elementary in dressage, BE90 eventing and discovery in BS. She has £128 of winnings showjumping. She is snaffle mouthed at all times and is a responsive ride. She is great to hack alone and in company (often babysitting greener horses) and isn’t bothered by the heaviest of traffic.

She is good with the farrier, to load and will happily stand on the lorry all day.

She is from Clover Hill lines and is the typical stamp - loves to jump whatever stride you are on!

We have owned Peppa for the last 5.5 years. She has been brought on to event but is now ready to progress up the levels of British Showjumping. She is established in her flat work and could do equally well in British Dressage. She is great fun cross country, but unfortunately not consistent enough over ditches to be competitive in British Eventing, which is the only reason for sale.

Peppa is an uncomplicated and all round nice person to have around. She would make a perfect mother/daughter share or horse for a competitive amateur.
