Peraidd Braveheart (Tom)

Tom is a lovely, versatile pony who is currently not getting the time he currently deserves.

Tom is used in the riding school as lead rein pony and is completely unfazed by nervous, wobbly or unbalanced little riders. He has experience with our usual riding school clientele, including children from just 4 years old, as well as RDA (Riding for the Disabled) & school visits. Unfortunately, we just don’t need a pony this small anymore.

He is brilliant in open spaces. He is regularly ridden as part of a group both in the arena and in our fields, but is equally happy being ridden on his own. He is excellent on the road and completely unfazed by traffic, tractors and general farm machinery.

Tom has also done lots of work off the lead and, before coming to us, attended a few local shows doing some showing & working hunter. He’s an attractive little pony that would be excellent in the show ring. Tom has a great jump and is a really adaptable ride. He can adjust himself to suit his rider, whether they want a lead rein, first ridden or want to ask a little more of him and have him step up a gear.

Unfortunately, Tom is nasty in the stable. We tie him up outside to groom, bath & tack up, and this does seem to be a solution. He needs a firm hand and somebody that knows how to deal with a pony with ‘little man syndrome’. Happy to go more into depth.

Tom is currently barefoot and is easy for the farrier to trim. He is up to date with his teeth, chiropractor and saddle fitting, and is snaffle mouthed at all times. He is also good to travel.

Tom has passed his yearly council vet check for this year, he is currently turned out in a mixed herd of 30 horses. He is happy living both in and out and is equally content being stabled. At present, he lives out overnight. During the winter months, he comes in at night and is turned out during the day. He would be happy continuing with this routine or living out 24/7.

We feel that Tom would be much happier in a private home, where he can have more individual attention and a lifestyle better suited to him.

Tom has so many lovely qualities and we would really like to find him a home where he can thrive and continue to develop as he is still only 7. Please do not expect a ready made pony, he is young and is a bargain for what he is.

Unfortunately due to lack of time the lovely Harry is looking for his next best friend.

Harry 🦄 — he is a lovely young horse looking for a home where he can have a job, stay busy and have lots of fun.

🏆 Jumping: This is where Harry really shines! He has an excellent amount of scope, is very willing and absolutely loves his job. He has been to a few low level show-jumping shows and cross country, He has all the potential to make an amazing workers or hunt horse.

📯 hunting- Harry has been out on his first hound exercise with us which he thoroughly enjoyed he was jumping everything from logs to rails and hedges, and happy to sit at the back or right up from with the masters, snaffle mouthed and is not strong

🌳 Hacking: We are based right off an industrial estate, so Harry has seen plenty! He can be a little spooky, but the more he goes out, the better he gets. He is happy hacking first or last and has also been out alone.

🏇 Schooling: Harry is still green in this area and can be lazy, He can get bored with constant schooling and would much rather be doing something fun and exciting. A home that enjoys variety would suit him perfectly.

Harry can throw a buck or two when excited, but nothing nasty or designed to unseat you — he is simply a young horse enjoying himself. With regular work, variety and a job to keep his mind occupied, this should continue to improve.

🏡 Home: Harry would be ideal for a confident teenager wanting a fun horse to compete and hunt, or a competent novice who wants to enjoy their own horse and have fun.

Harry has been ridden by all levels of rider but a confident rider that won’t be put off when he does throw the odd buck is important and above all, Harry needs a home where he has a purpose and is kept busy.

He is excellent for the vet and dentist with no sedation needed. He is good for the farrier, although he can get bored and become more interested in what is happening around him. He is happy living in or out and is equally happy going with a herd or alone and is very easy to catch.

Harry is a genuinely exciting prospect with a huge amount to offer the right person. He has so much potential and in the right hands, could be a real superstar. ❤️

Amo has a great character easy to do in every single way, clip, catch, shoe, load, travels by himself.

Very low mileage bought as a five year old and has just pottered about with owner who is based at a competition centre, so just did low level events at home but had no real interest in competing. Lack of time and loss of interest is reason for sale.

Good to school, has a great jump just needs to get out and do.

Has hacked on and off road by himself.

Has Jumped around a full course inside and outside at large competition centre as-well as off site a few times.

Has done Diddy cross country course and working hunter jumps.

Slightly green to Jump gets better the more he does and is very brave.

Really wasted horse that Has bags of potential to go up the levels in any sphere.
