Flowers – 16.2hh Rising 6-Year-Old Gelding

Beautiful 16.2/3hh gelding by Enaghan Cavalier Clover, out of an Irish Draught mare, with a white Irish passport.

I have owned Flowers since he was a rising three-year-old, so his full history is known. He has been carefully and sympathetically produced, never rushed, and has had plenty of time to mature.

He has been professionally produced and has experience at Somerford Park, including hacking, farm rides, cross-country schooling and working in a busy environment.

Flowers has taken to show jumping extremely well and has also been cross-country schooling, including jumping in and out of water. He is athletic, brave and has a lovely attitude to new experiences.

Flowers would make an exciting prospect for someone looking for a quality young horse to take hunting this season. He hacks alone or in company, is sensible and willing, and hunting would provide lovely preparation for next year’s eventing season, as I genuinely believe this is where this young horse will excel.

He is a lovely horse to have around: good to clip, good for the farrier, easy to load, stands quietly on the lorry and has excellent manners.

Flowers is a very attractive, quality young horse with three good paces and plenty of potential.

Sale is only due to my decision to step away from horses following the heartbreaking loss of my heart horse. Finding him the right experienced, five-star home is extremely important to me.

A genuinely special horse with an exciting future ahead of him.

Fanta hacks alone or in company, she is ridden in a snaffle across all disciplines and is a straightforward and enjoyable to ride.

Fanta is very well mannered both in the stable and when ridden. She is easy to catch, clip and load, making her a pleasure to have around and a very practical easy competition horse.

• He could make a fantastic hunt horse for the right person

Tiny is a lovely, genuine young horse with an exciting future ahead of him. He has only recently started his BS career and is currently jumping BN and Discovery (BS name Jack Z Canturo).

He has to this point been produced slowly and carefully, as I feel he is a horse for the future and there is no need to rush him. He has a trainable brain, a fantastic attitude to his work and is eager to learn, making him a really exciting prospect for someone wanting to produce their own horse and take them up through the levels.

Although his breeding is unknown, his sire is believed to be Canturo.

Tiny is lovely to ride on the flat, with a soft mouth and a willing attitude. He knows basic lateral work and flying changes. He is ridden in a snaffle for all spheres.

He hacks both alone and in company, used to farm traffic, has been on forest rides and has been XC schooling proving very bold. He takes everything in his stride and is a pleasure to take out and about. He is easy to catch and handle, and I regularly take him to shows on my own. He travels happily in a trailer, 3.5 tonne and HGV.

At only five, we feel Tiny has a huge amount more to give and would suit someone looking for a lovely young horse to produce and put their own stamp on. We think he could make a super showjumper or eventer in the future, but equally, he is a sensible type and we feel he could make a fantastic hunt horse for the right person at this time of year. Would suit someone looking for a genuine youngster with the attitude, ability and brain to progress.

Please no timewasters. Serious enquiries welcome.

Justin is a lovely, genuine 17-year-old gelding with a fantastic attitude to his work and a heart of gold. He is a real gentleman who is easy to handle on the ground and loves nothing more than being groomed and fussed over.

Justin previously competed successfully up to Newcomers/Foxhunter level in his previous home and has since been a brilliant schoolmaster. With us, he has been jumping around 90–105cm, but is now looking to step down to a quieter level.

• Could make a super showjumper or eventer in the future
• He could make a fantastic hunt horse for the right person
• Has been XC schooling proving very bold

Justin “Quito du Bussion Z”

Justin is a lovely, genuine 17-year-old gelding with a fantastic attitude to his work and a heart of gold. He is a real gentleman who is easy to handle on the ground and loves nothing more than being groomed and fussed over.

Justin previously competed successfully up to Newcomers/Foxhunter level in his previous home and has since been a brilliant schoolmaster. With us, he has been jumping around 90–105cm, but is now looking to step down to a quieter level.

He is honest, forgiving and always tries his best, making him a fantastic confidence-giver for a rider wanting to progress their confidence or enjoy having a safe, experienced horse to learn from.

Justin is also happy to turn his hoof to other disciplines, including dressage and XC. He hacks alone or in company, is good in open fields and is sensible in traffic. He really is a true gentleman both in and out of the arena

He would be particularly suited to someone looking for their first British Showjumping horse or their first horse after coming off ponies. He has the experience and knowledge to help a rider make the transition onto horses and gain confidence in the show ring. Equally, he would suit someone looking for a lovely horse to enjoy and take part in Riding Club activities with.
