Annie is a lovely Irish Sports Horse mare who came into Blue Cross care in August 2026 due to a change in her owner's circumstances, and is now seeking a home as a companion. She is a sweet natured mare who enjoys attention and a fuss, and once settled is good to handle in all her day-to-day care. Annie is generally easy to catch, lead, groom and have her feet picked out, although she can occasionally wander off when being caught, something that is already improving as she settles in.

Currently living out 24/7 in a mixed herd, Annie integrates well with other horses and is higher in the herd hierarchy, making her best suited to a home where she can enjoy consistent companionship and plenty of turnout. Beni, a 2023 15.3HH and still growing thoroughbred gelding

Beni is an absolutely lovely young horse with a fantastic attitude and a bright future ahead of him. He is clean, sound and has no known injuries. Unfortunately, he is simply a little too slow for us to see a future for him in racing.

Beni has been ridden away and has raced, making him RoR eligible. He is a very level-headed, sensible youngster who takes things in his stride and has a lovely temperament.

With further schooling and education, we believe Beni has the potential to make a really smart all-round horse. He is still very much a youngster with plenty of maturing and growing left to do.

We have noticed that Beni does crib occasionally. This is something we feel may improve once he leaves the racing environment and the associated stresses and routines of that lifestyle, although prospective homes should of course be aware of this before viewing.

Beni is currently standing at approximately 15.3hh and still growing. We estimate that he could mature around 16.2–16.3hh, and we expect him to develop into a lovely, big, solid horse.

He is a genuinely nice youngster with a sensible head on his shoulders, and we feel he would thrive with someone who is looking to take their time, continue his education and give him the opportunity to develop into the horse he has the potential to become.

She is a very sweet and people-oriented pony who enjoys spending time with her handlers and loves a good groom. As she is still young, Hummus is looking for a home that can continue her education through patient, consistent handling to help her grow in confidence. She is currently working on second headcollar training and learning to have her feet picked up, and is making steady progress as she gains experience.

Currently living out 24/7 with another mare, Hummus enjoys equine company and would suit a home where she can continue to develop at her own pace. The world class Locarno 62 was purchased as a 5 year old from the PSI auction in Germany. He was bought for a staggering 1,000,000 Euros and still holds the record today as the highest priced 5 year old show jumper ever to be sold or imported to the British Isles.

He is now a world-renowned Grand Prix horse, performing with both Ellen and Steven Whitaker and winning over £200,000 in prize money.

Locarno 62 has been selected to represent Great Britain twice at the senior European Championships at San Patrignano 2005 and Mannheim 2007 at which he won the bronze medal.

He was the best British horse resulting in Great Britain qualifying for the Olympic games. Unfortunately injury kept him out of the Olympics, although he had the best performance in the European Championships and has won and been placed in major Nations Cups, Grand Prix’s and World cups across the globe.

He has won and been placed at numerous major 5 Star Grand Prix competitions and world cup events. He jumped clear twice in the Hickstead Derby and has jumped double clears in Super League Nations Cups.

Locarno 62 is a consistently successful jumper and this phenomenal dark bay stallion is bred in the purple and has the looks, temperament and movement to die for. Watch him in action in our video link.

Locarno’s young stock is also proving to be very consistent, inheriting his scopey careful jump, correct conformation, elastic movement and fantastic temperament.

Small in stature but big in charm, Tyrell is a sweet and affectionate youngster who loves attention from his handlers and enjoys a good scratch. He is very easy to catch, enjoys being groomed and is a laid-back boy who takes life in his stride.

Like any young horse, he is still learning and building his confidence, but he approaches new experiences with a willing attitude and is a pleasure to spend time with. Currently living out in a youngster herd, Tyrell gets on well with other horses and would make a fantastic companion, particularly for other youngsters. With his cute looks, kind nature and easy-going temperament, Tyrell is sure to win the hearts of everyone he meets.
