FERRY POINT aka Otis - 4yro (2021) 16hh approx liver chestnut sport horse gelding. Breeding recorded.

Otis is as genuine as young all round horses come, he is a pleasure to do in all ways and only wants to please. He is well bred, dam sire is the well known ‘Abraham’
He would suit a riding club, competition, general riding, hunting, hacking home where he will be loved. He will be whatever is made of him.

Homebred and broken in last summer, Otis is unspoilt, hasn’t been rushed and has had the time to mature into the lovely 4yro horse he is. He is in work and loving the variety of hacking, schooling, fun rides and pole work. He is also starting to jump.

A delight to work with in the sand school, Otis is very trainable. He has a soft mouth, coming into a contact and going off the leg well. Not phased by fillers in and around the arena. He has a rhythmical way of going in walk trot and canter on both reins, straight moving and does his best for his rider.

Otis is hacking alone and in company proving to have a sensible nature in traffic including farm machinery, cyclists and other traffic. Regularly hacking on narrow country lanes and happy to go in front, alongside or behind. He has also ridden through open fields, bridleways, woodland tracks and to our local river. Ridden at all times in a D-ring snaffle.

Otis stands well for the farrier and is shod all round currently, he is good to load and travel and a gentleman to handle on the ground. Loves to be groomed, good to tack up, untack, catch in front the field and sensible to turn out. Turned out with geldings currently, has been with mares and stabled. He does well in any environment.

His up to date with the dentist and wormer.

Hacks anywhere! alone and In company, super genuine and snaffle mouthed. Quiet enough to lead a pony from too as well as lend to your mum, nan or friend. Even husband!

Mario has done all pony club activities, hunted trails and hunted. We aren’t going to be the next Badders winner but we certainly would do well in the show ring.

Very quiet and easy to handle, unphased when the yard is busy and chaotic. Lovely happy chap!

Special Agent, aka James is a very eyecatching 11 yo Oldenburger gelding. He has competed up to intermediate eventing and he is a very allround horse.

James has three very good flashy paces and is a serious eyecatcher within the dressage boards so he would also do well in pure dressage. However he also has a scopy jump and is super brave, would jump anything from any stride and he is very forgiving. That also makes him very suitable for eventing or hunting. In the cross country he is very much point and steer, he is very straight and will jump anything, he doesn’t get strong.

James is an easy ride in all three phases. He is very laid back. He is good to hack alone or in company. James would also be suitable for a younger rider or more novice rider.

Bally is a super gelding with a great jump, previously jumped newcomers, hunted and team chased.
With current owners Bally has attended pony club area showjumping qualifiers and championships as well as pony club rallies.

Bally will hack out alone but prefers company. We feel he would be placed best in a competitive home where he will be used to his full potential. He loves to jump, has flowing paces on the flat and has a lovely soft mouth, working in a correct outline.

A great horse for someone wanting to get out competing. Would be very competitive on the Showjumping circuit and potentially eventing/dressage. Equally could go hunting/ team chasing as he had in the past.

Only for sale as current owners are overstocked.

Super horse that is naturally well balanced, has lovely level paces, she has been nicely ridden on the flat and has very good soft gentle transitions.

Scopey, brave, careful jump and is bold with all the coloured fences in the arena. Sandy has competed successfully in training shows in Ireland around 90cm and 1m tracks.

This mare is a super Hunter and she will go first or last without pulling or getting strong. She has been XC schooling with us proving to be perfect with rails, hedges, going on and off the banks and was happy to jump both in and out of water. Sandy has a confident and easy attitude to her work and rides politely in a snaffle bridle at all times.

Sandy is a lovely horse to hack out and will happily go alone or in company and is extremely good in traffic - she will happily ride past lorries , bikes, tractors etc without turning a hair.

Kindest of horses to handle and is easy to catch, tie up, groom, bath, load etc and is good to both clip and shoe.

A lovely horse that is charming to have around and is easy to ride and is extremely reliable and gentle. A 5* home is looked for this lovely mare!

Ivy is a beautiful girl both on the ground and under saddle. Non marish mare who loves a fuss, cuddle and attention with her ears pricked forward at all times.

She rides beautifully on the flat with a soft supple mouth. Exceptionally trainable and enjoys her schooling and dressage.

Ivy pops a course and enjoys her job. Loves XC. She loves forest rides and will go for hours on end and enjoys a dip in the river to finish.

Ivy has hunted one season which she was excellent at.

Perfect little horse for a teenager or mother daughter share. Ultimate allrounder that gives everything a go. Very push button easy character.

Ivy is the ultimate all rounder. Fun, safe and easy. Has done some unaffiliated dressage which she really enjoys.

I’ve hacks alone or in company but hasn't done a huge amount of road hacking due to her living on a farm with off road hacking most of her life so is green on the road, traffic and village life. Excellent in open spaces, will sit last or take the lead. Snaffle mouth at all times. Unbelievably kind and sweet.

Happy to live in or out. Happy for other horses to canter away and back whilst standing still and videoing.

No sarcoids.

Clara is a beautiful 16.2hh 6yo quality mare. She has the most lovely temperament, she is kind, genuine, a lovely person to have around and easy to do in all ways.

She is a talented mare, would be good enough to produce up through the levels either sj or eventing. She gives a good feel over a fence and is scopey, careful and bold With fillers/trays. She has had 6months in the field due to having a baby, and is now back in work, last summer she was jumping round 95/BN double clear and is ready to affiliate BS. She rarely has a pole, and has a natural careful technique over a fence. She is quite a forward horse to jump and can be a little strong, but is never running off.

She has been xc schooled plenty, has jumped clear round the xc on her ODEs good with water/ditches etc, she can be a little Spooky and jump quite extravagantly, but is not ungenuine!

She rides well on the flat and does a nice dressage test, with so much more to come, she is straight moving, with nice paces.

She hacks alone or in company, in fields or roads/rural and busy traffic. She never naps, gets silly and is as close to bombroof in traffic as you can get. She has been ridden on the beach by a possibly slightly nervous (!!) but competent amateur rider and was a total saint.

Clara is a kind, genuine and very safe horse, she went to her first 4yo shows with me soon after I came out of hospital after 3mths from suffering a huge amount of organ damage, she was, as always, level headed and took everything in her stride and made my job incredibly easy and enjoyable to get back out on the horses again.

She has hunted with me with the Fernie and drag packs- while coming to the middle of my pregnancy. She is absolutely always safe, sane and sensible, and while she is not suitable for a total novice, as she is quite forward and has a big jump. she is an absolute dream of you are looking for quality, talent and ability but don’t want the quirky/sharp tendencies of the competition horse.

She has never bucked, reared, napped, bolted. She is good to clip, can be a little stroppy to pull her mane so we go v quick or cut! She loads and travels on Lorries/trailers. Stands at the show, can he handled by small children at shows and events, good to shoe.

She has no vices or health issues. She has the odd scuff/bump on one of her back legs that causes her no issues, and I wouldnt say big enough to call a scar really. An old scrape from kicking a fence post off in the field. No sarcoids, sweet itch, allergies. She’s never had a lame day. She is open to any vetting. She has 2 small white hair marks under her noseband- Presumably from a headcollar rub as a youngster.

‘Our Mathilda’ Mathilda was imported from Ireland a year and a half ago, where she came out of training as being ‘too slow’. Which is very easy to appreciate as sometimes she can be described as a cob in a tb suit! She is a relaxed and easy little horse and will mooch out hacking on the buckle end all day!

Mathilda is working well in the school and has began her education in flat work. She has taken to this like a duck to water. She is intelligent and willing to learn and work and enjoys her job. She has a lovely mouth and works consistently on the bridle in walk, trot and canter. She has been out to a couple of dressage tests and was fabulous in the lorry/warm up/and not spooky at the boards/car!

She has a lovely pop, and is bold over all fillers. She isn’t spooky atall, and has been to show jumping clear round show. We have kept the fences small (70cms) as she is still developing her technique and confidence around a course, but she has lots of scope to go on to be a top end riding club horse.

She hacks alone and in company, is good in all traffic. I have passed tractors and motorcycles and she has been good as gold. She’s not a spooky horse in any way and I have never found her to be sharp. She never naps and enjoys to be out and about, ears always pricked!

Mathilda is good to shoe- stands tied up for the farrier to shoe alone. she can fidget a little with her hinds but never lashes out or kicks and this has improved with each shoeing.

Mathilda will happily live in or out. She turns out in with other mares I don’t personally mix mares and geldings but she is a quiet type and I’ve never noticed if or when she is in season, so I wouldn’t say she is a Mareish horse atall. She never pulls a face or puts her ears back at you.

Mathilda loads onto my 3.5 lorry easily and travels well, I haven’t had her in a trailer as I don’t have one, but it is known that she travels on one from previous owners. She will stand at a show on the lorry when her friend is taken away with no bother.

She moves straight and correct and her flat work is coming on all the time, i think Mathilda would excel in a riding club home, I see her as being a fabulous event horse as she is so bold and willing and generous wither work ethic. She is straight moving and has a lovely trot so would also excel in RoR showing classes or pure dressage.

Mathilda is vice free and has clean limbs, no sarcoids, sweet itch.

Doesn’t include tack/wardrobe.

Open to any vetting

Up to date with teeth, physio and vaccinations.

This is a little horse that I am very very fond of, so 5* home is paramount!

Oakley has done a few BS training shows at British Novice, showing plenty of potential, and a great brain. He loves his cross country schooling, brave and intelligent. He has jumped his way beautifully round the 90 at Aston le Walls with a smile on his face!

Oakley will be very successful in a Dressage scenario, with 3 correct elastic and free flowing paces. He is a firm favourite with the dressage judges.

Oakley would suit a variety of homes due to his outstanding temperament and versatility. He would fit straight in to a family home, a dream for parents of tall kids, and a treasured pet!! 16.1 2012 Thoroughbred mare.

Has been out of racing for many years, and since been a fantastic hunter and riding horse.

She has brilliant flatwork, super mover, very sensible and a great feel. Would do a good Prelim/ Novice test now, but is talented and trainable enough to go up the levels.

Quality and level headed enough to show at top level, and again could do this straight away. Ready for HOYS/ Aintree qualifiers!

She is a good, careful and willing jumper both over coloured and rustic obstacles. Never says no.

Hacks happily alone and in company but does stride out in company- nothing more and is always a snaffle mouth. Good in traffic.

Well hunted including field mastering.

Would suit so many people, from a teen wanting some fun, a showing home, more hunting, and would be ideal for BD/ the RoR dressage leagues.

She is sweet and easy to do in all ways, but being a typical chestnut mare can pull the odd face!

Vice free. Tiny scar on back leg that is easily covered, but no further blemishes

A good doer that will live in or out (rugged).

A very sad sale of a horse that I have enjoyed every minute of.

No novices, loans, tyre kickers.

An honestly sold, quality mare that has been meticulously produced to date.

Plenty of video available.

For sale due to my daughter moving out and loosing interest. I haven’t got the time and experience and hence for the past 12+ months I have used him as a happy hacker, being a novice mum.

15.2hh 11 year, gelding with a superb kind temperament and so much scope. Unrecorded breeding on basic Irish passport.

He’s done hacking, fun rides, XC, show jumping in the past. My daughter used to do team chase, hunting and hound exercise which I believe is his favourite job given the choice. He’s not faced by having machinery, children, dogs or other horses around him. Hacks alone or in company.

He’s good to load on a trailer or lorry, good with vets, easy to catch, shoe, clip, stands quietly to groom and good for dentist. He’s a gem to have around and so easy to do.

He is however very quick to the fence when jumping and hence needs an experienced adult rider to work with him. He is strong in canter especially in the school.

As he’s only done hacking with myself in the past year he will need someone with some patience to bring him back into work properly so he can enjoy his job. I haven’t got the time and skill to give him what he needs. Could be a great mother and adult daughter share.

He is based in St Agnes in Cornwall.

Bobby is an absolutely gorgeous 15.1h cremello 5 year old reg Connemara gelding. For sale on behalf of his owner.

Bobby is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. He is very well bred with 5 generations of pedigree recorded. He is a very unique gorgeous cremello with dapples, he looks palamino when he is wet. He is very striking and catches the eye where ever he goes and stands out from the crowd. He is an ideal size for teens coming off ponies as well as adults so would make a brilliant mother/ daughter share too. He is a very desirable type that will do lots of jobs. He has excellent conformation, is blemish free and has straight movement with very good feet (N/N for hoof wall). He is the perfect alrounder who excels across all disciplines with a real “can do” attitude, he is lovely now but has so much more to come with a very exciting future ahead of him.

Bobby has three super smart paces and works nicely on the flat. He is naturally a very talented mover. He has an expressive active trot withy good impulsion and rhythm. His canter is super uphill and engaged, you could sit to it all day! He works correctly between leg and hand into a soft outline. He is nice and light in the contact and always ridden in a snaffle. He is a good medium speed who is nicely forward going with good transitions. Although he is lovely now he is still a bit green in areas and would like a balanced quiet rider to continue his education. He wouldn’t be suitable for a novice or nervous rider. He is a responsive ride so just needs a squeeze and not a pony club kick, so a rider with a bit of feel would be his perfect match. He is a good boy to ride and doesn’t have any ridden vices. He has such a lovely attitude to his work and is a quick learner who always has a smile on his face. He has so much potential to excel in dressage, he has been out to arena hires and is now ready to go to a competition and work his way through the levels.

Bobby loves his jumping and makes a lovely shape over a fence. He nicely takes you into a fence and is very honest and genuine to jump. He doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is very bold and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. He has been to several jumping arena hires and training clear rounds where he has shown lots of potential for all riding club competitions ect. He is very good to ride at new places and has a very good attitude to his jumping. He is now ready to go out competing. He is equally as bold over xc jumps. He was very ridable and jumped everything asked of him in a sensible manner including water and ditches. He is a very straight forward ride and takes his rider into the fences nice and confidently. I can see him really excelling as an eventer as he is brilliant at all 3 disciplines. He would make a super Badminton grass roots prospect.

Bobby is lovely to hack both alone and in company. He is very good in traffic including lorries and motor bikes. He is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order on an easy rein, hes not at all competitive. He has been on pleasure rides which he loves and is so much fun. He would be very well suited to someone wanting to combine pleasure rides with competing, or equally just one or the other. He has also hunted in Ireland with a teenage girl proving to be very polite and easy going, so would also be very suitable for hunting in this country.

Bobby has a superb kind friendly temperament. He loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend as he is so interactive and forms a really strong bond. He loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. He is a good to handle in all ways. He lives in and out and is happy turned out next to or in with other horses, he is very quiet in the field and gets on well with all horses and ponies. H is good to shoe, bath, catch, lead ect. He loads perfectly (single handed) and travels like a dream. He really is such a genuine honest horse who deserves the best of homes.

Bobby would be very suitable for a competent teenager coming off ponies and adults alike. He would make a fabulous event horse as she has bags of talent across all 3 disciplines. He would also suit a home wanting to do all riding club activities and hacking/ pleasure rides/ hunting. He would also suit a home to do some dressage or show jumping. Only for sale due to his teenage owner sadly losing interest with horses and going onto boys. Bobby has been based on full livery at my stables since he came over from Ireland in February, he is a real yard favourite and I have a real soft spot for him so an experienced. He is very sound and healthy, passed a 5 stage vetting in February and is open to another vetting. Based in Ramsey Peterborough. 07460820294 £12,000.

Tentatively looking to sell my sons horse that has taken him in all disciplines of Pony Club to Eventing Teams at Bicton 2024.

A super gentleman of a horse that is so easy to deal with, travel etc and excellent at events/shows. Doesn’t get fazed at competitions as he has done many in his life.

Only for sale as my son has now grown to 6ft5 and has teenager vibes of losing interest unfortunately.

The horse is sound and ready to go and give someone else a fantastic season.

Beautiful established flat work as expected, hacks in company or alone. Not wanting novice riders as he is a sensitive soul and don’t want a ‘hard’ rider for him.

Ideally he would be perfect for a lightweight mother/daughter/son combo looking for the perfect horse to show them the ropes in Eventing.

Be an amazing Teamchaser as has previously with previous owner.

Please message via watsapp in first instance as I can’t always answer calls.

Serious enquiries only, full wardrobe including a new saddle a year ago fitted by my saddle fitter.

This little mare really does have it all, I have owned her since an unbroken 2 year old so know all her history and characteristics.

She was professionally backed by Mirium Hacket and then turned away to grow before continuing her education with Lorna Cartildge, who went on to show her before coming back home to me.

I have since spent the last few years hunting, enjoying fun rides, going to the beach, clinics and hacking out. I have ridden and led off of her many times and and am so very proud of the horse she has become. She is of the perfect age to go on and give someone many years of fun and would excel at anything her mind is put too.

She has spent the last 8 months at college and is much loved by the students. She is never sick or sorry. Is great to clip, box, shoe ect and up to date with teeth and vacs she has been seen to crib after hard feed but not a big habit and she is of full health. She is a strong ride but safe so needs a good confident rider NOT a child or novice.

Only the home best will do. Please no time wasters as this is incredibly hard for me, due to having to stop riding completely due to a spinal issue and a decision not taken lightly.
