He is very sweet natured and just looks to please, however he can be a bit cold backed if you haven’t done anything with him for a couple days however is good when he warms up and if he’s ridden consistently he doesn’t do this. This is reflected in price. I am sure when he’s older and stronger this won’t be a problem

Really kind loving mare who wants to please. She has previously jumped double clear up to Newcomers. Not at all spooky, very straightforward in the ring, very much point and shoot, has XC schooled, proving herself to be very bold, jumped everything asked, including ditches and went through water.

She’s a pleasure to have around, and easy to do on the ground, be that at home, shows or arena hires. Good for the farrier, to clip, loads first time, we’ve had her on forward and backward facing 3.5 and 7.5. Travels alone and in company, doesn’t mind if other horse gets taken off and left alone. Turns out with both mares and geldings.

Regularly ridden by a variety of riders, my mum who’s in her late 60’s regularly hacks her out, has been ridden by capable 12 year old. Hacks alone and in company, been on beach rides with previous home. Good in traffic and open spaces, doesn’t get strong or silly. She’s not the type who needs to be ridden every day to stay sane, she can miss a few days and get straight back on without having to worry.

As straightforward as she is, she wouldn’t suit a complete novice and she is forward going.

BALLYLINAN 21, known on the yard as Frank, a big and gentle 4yro Irish bred bay gelding, standing at approximately 16.3hh. Frank is a big framed horse, a rangey, solid type with good bone and a good length of stride.
Arrived from Ireland at the start of 2025, Frank hasn’t not been rushed, ridden early spring, turned away to enjoy the spring and early summer before coming back into work well participating in a range of activities and currently in work.
He has a wonderful, kind temperament and is genuinely easy in every way, Frank has made a great start to his education:
Flatwork- Frank schools politely and always tries his best. Schooling in a snaffle, he goes up the paces going well off the leg and has a soft mouth coming down into the correct contact.
Hacking and riding out - Regularly hacking in company, Frank is brilliant around other horses, never hot or silly. He hacks alone well and is fantastic in traffic, regularly riding out on narrow country lanes meeting bicycles and cars through to Lorries and tractors. He enjoys riding through bridleways and fields and is willing to go where asked.
Trail hunting and other activities:
Frank really enjoyed hound exercise through late summer and took to trail hunting delightfully in the autumn and recently. Proving to be good with hounds, standing at the meet and behaving well in the field. He is easy to load and travel, to or from places and able to come away from the other horses, always pleasing his rider. Has also been to arena hires and a local fun ride.
Frank is popular on the yard, always got his head over the door for a scratch. As a young horse, he’s at that lovely stage where he’s absorbing everything and will continue to gain confidence and experience with his new person. Bertie is a chestnut gelding by Ramiro B, out of an American thoroughbred mare. We have owned Bert for 4 years and Katie (then 18) has produced him herself.

Fantastic paces with the ability to produce sub 30 dressage tests on a regular basis. He is always reliable and relaxed in the arena.

He is a great showjumper yet has a bold and careful approach on the xc field. Bert knows his job and has a fantastic gallop which eats up the ground.

Although we think he would be a serious junior horse he could easily step down to compete in Cotswold cups, future Badminton Grass roots classes, and dominate the U18 circuit.

We adore Bertie. Our preferred home for him would be with an aspirational U18 but he would thrive with anyone wanting to be successful in any discipline.

A very brave horse cross country and she is really enjoying her jumping! Ditches, water, steps are no problem to her. The type that will happily canter around jumping and then will walk calmly on a loose rein.

Has hunted on multiple occasions with the roscommons , proving to be safe , sensible and very brave to anything we have faced her at. A very mannerly and comfortable ride.

Very easy to ride round a course of fences , doesn’t rush or pull but stays in a positive rhythm. Not phased by spooky fillers and comfortably jumping around 90/1m courses.

Ridden in a snaffle at all times , she is incredibly mannerly for a big horse. Has competed at local shows, always in the placings, she has huge presence and a real head turner! Her behaviour is impeccable off the yard, she stands quietly and doesn’t hot up or get silly.
