Amazing temperament with willing trainable attitude. Super breeding and beautiful rhythmic movement, with lots of potential in any discipline. Scopey bold jump but very sensible and doesn’t rush, learns quickly from mistakes and confident to have a go.

Charlie was shown in hand as a 2yr old competed at low level dressage and showjumping as a 4/5 year old and also been xc schooling successfully.

He will hack alone and in company, never strong or silly although needs confidence around large tractors. He is good to clip, with the farrier, vet and dentist, his teeth and vacs all up to date and he has been seen by our physio.

He loads and travels in a box, however not a natural loader and needs some support in this area and can hurry to unload. Recent 5 stage vetting / 5 stage insurance vetting

Charlie is a young playful chap who really benefits from having ‘his person’, sane and sensible with an older head on young shoulders.

Charlie was purchased recently with the hope of him being a long term member of our RDA team, and whilst he showed a great trainable attitude being trained quickly to our mounting hoist and special equipment, he did not cope well in the large herd environment (of more than 5-8 others), or with a different number of handlers and riders. He became quite stressed and unhappy with the riding school routine resulting in the early onset of ulcers. These have now been treated with our vet and he is starting to flourish again.

Charlie has nothing but love to give and is always keen to please, but will need an experienced new owner who will put time and effort into building a bond with him and continuing his education.

Sold with bridle and small wardrobe, new fitted saddle available at extra cost.

Reggie is a beautiful big horse, he’s got three correct paces on the flat and has a very correct head carriage.

He’s a forward going horse , and I feel would suit a professional rider or would be safe enough to do riding club / hack around home.

He’s just such a lovely boy to handle and do anything with, shoeing/ loading

He’s super brave will jump anything infront of him, not spooky or silly.

I ride him in a snaffle for flat ( but can be strong) so I pop him in a pehlam/ 3 ring to jump and hack. ( I am 5.2 and 8 stone )

I would love to see this horse go on and be somebody’s best friend.

Does have a couple of superficial scars on his back leg, which causes no issues.

Theon is wearing tack and lunging very nicely, ready for someone to ride away and produce for the upcoming season. I do not have time for 2 and my home bred is my priority, hence the sale. Theon has been given the opportunity to develop and mature and not been given unnecessary mileage at a young age, which is ideal for someone looking for a true Irish horse that will have longevity to their career. Theon has been to plenty of shows as a yearling/ 2 year old including stay away shows, which he was entirely at ease with and was more than happy to take in the sights and sounds of an atmosphere, so he is well educated in hand for his future.

Theon is a very good boy to do in all ways on the ground and knows his manners. 100% trim/ load/ clippers etc. He really does have the foundations of a dream horse

Due to his age, he needs someone experienced and competent at producing a young horse. He will not suit a nervous or novice, neither someone wanting a quiet hack.
