Lestingdale is expected to follow in his father's footsteps, and has the most wonderful temperament, which is passed down to his offspring.

Dam: Gretta-Rose - a lovely Thoroughbred mare by Proclamation. She has raced under rules and has point to pointed. She moves nicely and has a lovely scopey jump, making a lovely shape over a fence. Both parents are exceptionally good natured, which has been passed onto him.

Her dam has a fantastic nature with classical bloodlines including De Niro, Weltmeyer, Absatz and Bolero and guarantees prime dressage quality.

De Niro is an extremely popular sire in Germany due to his outstanding movements, extremely high rideability and beautiful type. His foals are consistently elegant, modern type, show excellent conformation as well as outstanding movement.

I have owned this mare for 6 years now and she has bred me 4 very good foals, she has been a textbook foaler and never needed any assistance. Her foals have always been very forward, up and drinking straight away.

Her sire is Clarius who many years ago was the best British bred stallion at Addington young horse champs and also qualified for HOYS and selected for young horse champs in Lanaken.

Clarius’ sire Marius Claudius won the world cup qualifier in London and Oslo, he won the Grand Prix of Athens and the Grand Prix of Europe in Aachen.

She has produced some very trainable, athletic and big moving offspring.

Last years foal sold to professional showjumping producers and this years colt sold within 48hours of advertising.

I have retained her 4yr old and 2yr old offspring for myself.

I’m torn about the idea of selling her as she is such a good doer and a pleasure to have around but work commitments have forced me to cut down.
