Glenbeigh Stud is a small, family-run stud focused on breeding and producing quality sport horses. Our mares are carefully chosen for temperament and performance, and we pair them with proven stallions to give foals the best chance of success in modern competition. We breed quality competition horses mainly for Showjumping. Our horses are reared at foot of the South Downs.

Many of our homebreds have gone on to great success, Warrior Queen (Warrior x Unbelievable Darco) represented GB at the WBFSH championships in Lanaken and jumped up to 1.45m. Diamond Warrior (Warrior x Caretino Glory) is regularly competing at 1.40m and has siblings competing in young horse classes. We have kind horses with great, trainable attitudes that are suitable for all disciplines. We have a horse for everyone so do not hesitate to enquire.

Cherry has been handled correctly since birth, groomed daily, feet picked out out. Fully vaccinated, regular farrier. Owned/bred by a Vet - open to all Vettings. Good with her bridle ready to start long reining now. Won many in Hand showing classes and was first in her Championship show. At the Championship she qualified for the evening performance and took it all in her stride Winning Potential Sports horse in a strong class.

She is a lovely kind filly with real sassy quality - exceptionally good paces. Her Dam is a Dr. Watson mare so fabulous dressage breeding with Sir Donnerhall and Weltmeyer lines.

The mare is awarded Gold at British Futurity Breeding, and is back competing likely will go right up the levels. Hoping to go Advanced with her in time. She has the mares three excellent gaits with exceptional activity of her hind leg.

She will make an incredible sports horse, jumps - has loose jumped a couple of times. She has her sires trademark Lostock Candyman's; golden temperament. His sire Lostock Huntsman was an intermediate eventer, HOYS Coloured Champion and did 14 seasons hunting. An incredibly tough/sound 3/4 TB, who has sired numerous eventers and show horses. His dam Wysteria Lane showed great style over a fence, whose pedigree carries a lot of show jumping blood.

She is very affectionate and a very fast learner she will be incredibly easy and rewarding to train and she has been to various County Shows and taken in the atmosphere behaved well and won her classes. She is real quality but not too big standing 15.3 at the moment, likely to finish around 16hh.

She is going to be a serious ridden prospect and will suit a keen rider with an active competition schedule. Looking forward to staying in touch with whoever buys her and following their progress. Her walk is lovely and swinging, with a good overtrack. The trot shows off an excellent hind leg, active and fluent. Her canter is loose and uphill.

“George”, having been born on St.George’s day , is a striking bright bay with 2 white fetlocks. Very pleasing shape, deep girthed with a good length of rein. He is fully vaccinated and we are just doing the basics with him now. Tack on, lunged and long reined. He will be turned out for the summer and then brought in again in Autumn. Ideal for someone wanting a project, will excel in any sphere, they all jump and he has correct straight movement. He is such a sweet person!!

He has a very sweet and lovely temperament. Quiet and well behaved to handle, good to lead and pick up his feet etc. He loaded first time in the trailer without any hassle. As you can see from the photos he is a stunning horse with elegant paces and would suite any sport.

He started his education last year and was very straightforward and willing, he was lunged and long reined with a great attitude. He had his wolf teeth out before Christmas and had some time off.

He has now been brought back in and I have backed him with no issues. He’s proving to be very cooperative and a gent. I have just started his schooling, he is still very green but showing a lot of promise and very soft in the mouth. He’s ready for someone to continue his education. I’m very fond of him but sadly due to personal reasons he has to go. I have no doubt the first person to view will have him.
