  • 7 year old event horse, impeccable breeding, both parents 160 jumpers

  • Has the scope, bravery and movement to move up the levels, or could be a top grassroots horse

Nolan has been in the same home since he was imported from Holland as an unbroken 3 year old. He has been almost entirely produced by a teenage girl.

He is very consistent at BE 100, having been double clear every time out this season.

He is a good mover and will do a beautiful test. He is also careful and brave.

Nolan is a much loved member of the family, who is good to hack and easy on the ground. He has also hunted, and took to it with aplomb, being both sensible and courageous.

Although this is not what we have used him for we think he would thrive in this role.

He has had a tie-back wind operation and this is reflected in his price.

A very sad sale since his rider is starting Uni.

A very genuine gelding that is so easy going and aims to please. He has competed unaffiliated at 90/1m and scoring a 23 dressage at a recent event.

He isn’t phased by fillers, water trays etc - jumping up to a metre unaffiliated and 1.10 at home. Out Xc peanut is as brave and thoroughly enjoys his galloping courses.

Peanut is very easy on the ground shoeing, grooming, washing. Will hack out alone or in company and will travel no problem.

Lightly broken this summer - long reining and been sat on about 8 times and ridden away. Was great to do and has a wonderful outlook and attitude. I have his older brother and their temperaments are the same - kind and want to please.

Great jumper, straight and floats, with perfect confirmation
Handles great - loads, feet, bathing etc, teeth done reguarly (wolf teeth been removed) and wormed.

I have done every aspect very correctly, the hardwork has been done and he is now ready to ride away in 2026 and produce. He is a very exciting young horse.

I have owned him from a 10 day old foal, my friend in Ireland bred him

Only for sale due to cutting back on my own horses due to my 7 year old’s 3 ponies, my business and house renovation – oh and the fact I am getting older and don’t have as much energy as I used to to cram it all in!

16.2 ISH mare by Pointilliste x Almo Duchess (Kings master)

Beautifully bred, 2nd dam is sister to 5* event horse Brookfield Quality (OBOS Quality)

Tilly is a classy, genuine type with an excellent brain.

Scopey and brave, super kind, easy mare who wants to please.

She is one for the big Saturdays, bold over the biggest of hedges and timber but clever where she needs to be in trappy country.

Covers the ground well, has plenty of blood with a very good brain to match.

Super genuine mare, takes you into a fence in a balanced rhythm, never strong. Nicely responsive off your leg but never silly. snaffle mouthed. Doesn’t buck rear or nap.

Hacks out alone or in company.

Good with hounds, would go in the field or do a job for a whip/huntsman.

Stands quietly when asked and happy to leave the field/go off on point.

XC schooled, brave and bold, jumps skinnies and confident jumping in/through water. Would easily go novice/1* and beyond in the right hands.

Goes beautifully on the flat, 3 balanced uphill paces, established changes. Will do a really smart test.

Comfortably schooling round 1.30 at home, jumped to fox on a ticket. Careful and enough blood to move up the levels quickly with the right person. Suit an ambitious amateur or young rider coming off ponies.

Very easy on the ground, excellent to clip, shoe, bath etc.
Loads and travels in trailer, 3.5t or wagon, will stand on at shows patiently.

Shod, sound and in work, will hunt/BS with us until she sells. Needs to be tried to be appreciated.
No vices, open to vet.

President is a beautiful Bay geilding 5years old. He was broken at the beginning of this year and was super easy to do. Since then he has progressed on with his ridden career proving he is very brave and sensible and has all the attributes anyone would want to go out and do any job.

He would make a super event or showjumping horse but we believe he would also hugely excel as a working hunter as he has a lovely jump, way of going and great conformation.

President has been to the beech been on a few farm rides and has done lots of arena hires and jumped bs on a ticket jumping numerous double clears. We only haven’t registered him to give his new Rider a record with no points as he will gain them thick and fast.

He is good to do in every way load clip box shoe catch. He will stand on the lorry or trailer all day with no fuss.

Mambo - 16hh 4 year old Warmblood gelding by Enzo Ferrari

One for the age classes!

Lovely breeding including Painted Black & Sandro Hit. Really lovely athletic and elegant young horse, a good balance of power and ride ability while remaining very sensible & straightforward to both ride and handle.

He is a lovely active mover with a good hind leg, expressive trot and an excellent walk, he’s a definite candidate for the 5 year old classes next year. Carefully produced without being over cooked he really enjoys his work and is never sharp or difficult. He’s very balanced transitions are good, leg yield established and counter canter.

Striking 3 year old destined for a high level in the sport.

Hugh is a 16.1hh gelding who moves well and makes a naturally good shape over a fence.

He’s been professionally started and is now backed and been lightly ridden away at walk and trot. He’s been hacking for 3 weeks on the roads and round a farm and is extremely bold and brave leading past machinery and traffic.

He has loose jumped only twice since being purchased proving very bold over fillers and naturally thinks for himself getting his legs out the way sharply.

He’s now been turned away and roughed off in the field as he’s got some more growing to do but will be ready to come back in after a few weeks and continue his education.

Available now before price increases once he comes back in.

Finn is the ultimate leisure/pleasure all-rounder with a golden temperament. He is as safe as they come and gives everyone confidence that gets the pleasure of riding him. He is offered for sale on behalf of his owner whos circumstances have suddenly changed unfortunately. He is a 15.1h 5 year old (going on 10!) dapple grey fully registered Connemara gelding.

Very well bred with 5 generations pedigree, Nn hoof wall. He is a real stunning quality stamp with such amazing dapples that really draw you to him, he catches the eye where ever he goes. He is gorgeous inside and outside to match and will make someone a horse of a life time for sure.

He has excellent conformation, clean limbs, is blemish free with straight movement. A real show quality stamp who is very correct. He is such a desirable type as he is a great size for everyone to ride from children to teenagers and adults; he would be perfect for a mother/daughter share or family horse for everyone to enjoy. He really excels as a pleasure horse to take on sponsored rides, happy hacks, horse holidays, beach rides, and to do all riding club on. And best of all he is super safe and very genuine and honest with a quiet gentle temperament.

Finn is super to hack both alone and in company. He is great with traffic and hacks straight out onto a busy through road where traffic goes flying past him. He is super with arctic Lorries passing him too. He is very confident in his own skin so doesn't need his rider to hold her hand. He is very calm and sensible in open spaces, he will canter in any order within a group without getting strong or competitive; he doesn't mind being over taken. You can drop you reins on him in canter and he wont run away, in fact quite the opposite. He is a lovely medium/steady speed out hacking.

He has been on lots of pleasure rides which he really does excel at, he gives other horses confidence as he is such a calm influence. He is so much fun on pleasure rides and always makes you smile and have a good ride. He has been on beach rides where he is always fantastically behaved, he went to Brancaster this summer and even swam in the sea and cantered up the beach no handed, this just about sums Finn up! He would be the ideal type to take on horse holidays and enjoy hours of exploring together as he is super comfy too and relaxed in new places.

He has also hunted in Ireland with a 13 year old boy where he proved safe and steady so would also suit a hunting home.

Finn has good basic schooling established with lovely natural paces. His paces are very smooth and flowing. He is a steady ride in the school and does need leg from his rider to keep him going. So he would suit a rider who prefers to kick on rather than pull back. This makes his rider feel very safe and also means that Finn is suitable for nervous/ novice riders as well as more competent riders. He is a real safe steady confidence giver to ride and not the spooky or sharp type. He is snaffle mouthed for everything with a lovely light mouth. He is very forgiving and doesn't mind if his rider loses balance or misses a beat, he will just slow down and let you catch your balance.

He is a basic walk, trot and canter in the school; he has never had any dressage schooling put into him as his previous owner wasn't interested in that. However he could easily school up into the contact with a little work and do some dressage as his paces are good and he is a well-balanced horse. He has also been ridden bare back and was foot perfect and very comfortable. He would suit a wide range of riders from competent novices through to more experienced riders that just want a straight forward easy going ride that they can pick up and put down as he doesn't require daily riding to keep sane.

Finn loves his jumping and makes a brilliant shape. He is very careful both in front and behind. He nicely takes you into a fence in a good rhythm without rushing. He doesn't get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is a very much point and aim type who helps his rider out and juts loves to jump. He has attended training shows and unaffiliated comps at 80/90cm as well as riding club and arena hires.

He has also been xc schooling several times where he was simply amazing. Hes very confident and bold even over ditches and water. He is a real xc machine, point and aim type who is very genuine with lots of talent. He is a very straight forward ride and takes his rider into the fences nice and confidently but remains steady and very safe and sensible. He would excel at hunter trails and low level one day events. As well as being suitable for all pony club and riding club activities.

Finn has a superb quiet temperament; you really wouldn't find a quieter easier horse. He really is such a nice sweet person who wants to be everyone's friend. He is easy to handle and is very polite with manners to burn. He loves to be groomed and pampered. He is such a kind loving boy who is very gentle and calm. He is very good to catch, bath, shoe, load, catch ect. He will live alone or in company and in or out, he just goes with the flow. He is so much more than just a horse, he will be your best friend and part of the family.

He would make the perfect leisure/pleasure horse for hours of hacking and fun rides with some bits of riding club thrown in for fun. It is really important to his owner that Finn finds a 10* home where he will be loved and enjoyed.

Passed a 5 stage vetting in May that can come with him. Videos available on request.

  • Excellent ground manners. Loved & admired by everyone at her current yard.

Heart-breaking sale of our much loved mare, Belle (due to change in circumstances and our daughter's lack of time whilst she focuses on exams, then travel.)

Belle has taken our daughters from ponies to horses, taking them confidently from 70cm - 1m+. She has been with us for 3 years.

AES Passport - Losebys Chandracoon.
Irish Sports Horse x Warmblood. Bay mare
16yrs old (DOB 27.05.09) 15.3hh

Belle (stable name) has done all PC activities including camps, rallies, beach rides, comps incl 90; 100 SJ @ Hickstead; HT to 100

**Highlights - experience competing across PC, RC, GO BE, NSEA**

*Regional PC Champs Eventing placed 8th (80), 2023;
*90HT placed 4th (one second between top placings!) @ Littleton Manor, Oct 2023;
*GOBE 90 at LMEQ finishing 5th, Oct 2023;
*Chipstead RC HT90/95 @ East Bysshe placed 4th, Sept 2024
*NSEA HT @90 placed 3rd, Nov 2024 (with my younger daughter 14yrs)
*Sadly BE 2024 event was cancelled but lovely clears in the replacement combined training event at 90/100 (SJ + XC) , Oct24 (with younger daughter)

Currently training at 90-100 but would happily step down for her rider. Excels at XC, strong SJ, fair dressage and can produce a lovely test but needs more time put into this discipline.

Experienced mare with low mileage as we haven't had the time this season to compete.

Hacks alone or in company. Snaffle-mouthed

Loved & admired by all at her current yard

No injuries or niggles.

She needs a competent rider as she is not a novice ride. She can spook so needs a confident rider who is happy to take control. Once she's focused, and with consistent training and a regular routine, she thrives and flies! Time should be spent on the ground building a bond to reach your full potential as a team.

**Excellent Ground Manners**
Great ground manners once settled in her environment.
Enjoys being fussed over and long grooms.
Good for farrier
Travels alone and in company. Easy to load.
Good around dogs and younger children - Often hacking with our dog off the lead. Very patient and gentle when asked to do pony rides for young cousins

She is best stabled but has lived out previously. Current lives in a mixed herd.

Lira is my homebred 5 yr old mare by Liamant W ( Diamant de Semilly ) out of a Zandor Z dam

Shes been very quietly and correctly produced over the last year.

She has not been overdone or rushed and is now ready for someone to put their stamp on

She has a super forward thinking nature but is never silly or excitable , doesn't buck / nap or have any naughty traits

She hacks out alone and in company, she is super friendly in the stable and is a delight to have around

She works very nicely on the flat with an exceptional balanced canter and will do a very nice test with some more polish

We have XC schooled her and she was brave and jumped everything asked of her

She has been to a good selection of training shows and is calm and relaxed in the collecting ring with other horses and jumps all fillers without hesitation

While she could suit an ambitious amateur ride she is certainly talented enough for a professional

Due to her age and experience she would not be suitable for a novice or nervous rider

Ivan - 16.2HH (approx) 6 year old Irish Draught gelding by the Grade A SJ stallion Darragh Moylough Vision.

Ivan was a just backed 3 year old when I bought him, but he has grown far too big for me, hence this will be a very sad sale of a much loved boy and will only be sold to the right home.

I have brought him on slowly and carefully giving him time to mature. He is good to hack alone and in company. Is schooled regularly and is straight and correct. He has been out regularly attending UA SJ, dressage, arena eventing, combined training and cross country schooling. He has also been autumn trail hunting.

I am sure he will excel in the hunting field or show ring.

Ivan has been well handled on the ground, and is excellent to shoe, bath, clip and loads easily onto a lorry or trailer.

He is up to date with teeth, vaccinations, back and worming.

Ivan is in daily work, so is fit and ready to go.

He is unsuitable for novice/nervous riders as he can still be a little green at times. A competent rider will very easily put him in his box!

Open to vetting.

“Buddy” – Outstanding 4-Year-Old Purebred Connemara Gelding – 15.1hh and Still Growing

A beautifully mannered, straightforward Connemara gelding. Quiet, easy, and a pleasure in every way. A quality type with an exceptional temperament.

Meet Buddy, our truly exceptional 4-year-old purebred Connemara gelding, currently standing at a well-grown 15.1hh with more height and plenty of quality still to come. Buddy is the kind of pony that turns heads wherever he goes – a real leg-in-each-corner type, with substance, presence, and the sort of temperament that makes him a dream to produce. He has all the hallmark qualities of the Connemara breed: scope, heart, brains, and that all-important quiet nature.

From the minute you sit on Buddy, you know you’re on something special. He rides beautifully off a soft snaffle contact, working in a natural rhythm and balance well beyond his years. He’s extremely well-schooled for his age and shows maturity in both his flatwork and jumping. He’s responsive without being sharp, forward-thinking but never silly, and always tries his best to understand what’s being asked of him. He has three quality paces, a soft and rhythmical trot, a balanced uphill canter, and a very correct walk. Buddy is the type that always wants to please – he’s very trainable, kind, and genuinely enjoys his work.

Over the summer, Buddy has already started to make his mark in the show ring and out hunting. He competed successfully in a number of Connemara show classes and working hunter classes, where his rideability and ring presence earned him great results, including 2nd place at Charleville Show in the 4- & 5-Year-Old Ridden Class – a real achievement in a strong class of quality ponies. He has also competed at training shows and is no stranger to a full day out, having already completed a full season’s hunting, where he proved to be mannerly, brave, and a real pleasure to ride across country.

When it comes to jumping, Buddy is quiet, confident, and careful. He has a naturally good technique and plenty of scope – he’s been comfortably jumping up to 1m here, and he free-jumps 1.20m with ease. He shows a lot of promise both over showjumps and across country fences. Cross-country is where Buddy really shines – he’s brave, straight, and honest, making him a super candidate for grassroots eventing or working hunter pony classes. He never says no, takes everything in his stride, and always gives his rider a confident, safe feel to a fence.

One of Buddy’s standout features is his temperament. He is very quiet, both on the ground and under saddle. He is the same pony every day – whether he’s been ridden every day that week or pulled in from the field after a few days off. He is straightforward to catch, box, shoe, hack, and handle in every way. He hacks out alone or in company, is good in traffic, and isn’t fazed by farm machinery, dogs, or any of the usual countryside commotion. He is good to travel, settles in new places without fuss, and has no stable vices. He’s a total gentleman to have on the yard and is a firm favourite with everyone who handles him.

Buddy is quiet enough for a novice, making him a lovely option for a mother-daughter share, a Pony Club or Riding Club home, or even a riding school looking for a quality horse to add to their string. Equally, with his looks, talent, and trainability, he would be right at home in a more competitive setting – he’s the sort that will happily turn his hoof to anything you ask of him and do it all with a smile on his face.

Buddy us a purebred Connemara with full recorded breeding, his Sire is Hillside Joker, his dam is by Celtic Moy Sailor x Ardravinna Andy

The price includes delivery to your yard anywhere in the UK, and we offer an exchange if you’re not completely satisfied – though we’re confident that once you meet Buddy, you’ll fall for him just like we have.

Please feel free to call anytime on 00353868077626 or email gertytynan@gmail.com for more information.

Scroll down to watch his video and see Buddy in action – he’s even better in real life. Don’t miss out on the chance to own a truly outstanding young Connemara gelding with a huge future ahead of him.

QUEENIE – The Ultimate Irish Sport Horse Mare for Dressage, eventing or Showjumping

Standing at 16.1hh, Queenie is a striking six-year-old black Irish Sport Horse mare with the kind of presence that turns heads wherever she goes. Her breeding combines the best of Irish Draught substance with the lighter blood of the modern sport horse, producing a mare that’s both brave and clever, forward-thinking yet completely sane – a golden mix for any rider wanting a genuine all-rounder with scope, quality and kindness.Shes out of a proper traditional Irish Sport Horse mare by the renowned Irish Draught sire Flagmount King, Queenie boasts bloodlines that are steeped in performance and good sense. She is by the sought-after stallion Spirit House, and

She’s the very picture of traditional Irish breeding – substantial yet elegant, with bone in all the right places, a kind and intelligent eye, and that rare mix of athleticism and trainability that’s becoming harder to find. A real model of her type, Queenie has been blessed with textbook conformation, a gleaming dark coat, and a temperament to die for.

She would be a dream horse for a teenager wanting to move up the levels, a mother-daughter share, a top-end riding school or training centre looking for a quality schoolmaster-type, or even a competitive amateur home wanting a ready-made partner to get out and go with. She has no stable vices, is sound and open to any vetting.

We purchased Queenie from her breeder, she has done a wide range of activities, including hunting, charity rides, unaffiliated competitions and hunter trials. She has seen a bit of everything, and that foundation has clearly given her a steady and well-rounded outlook. She is taking everything in her stride – she is a pleasure in every way, a level-headed, adaptable, and generous horse, ready to crack on with any job asked of her.

Queenie is utterly quiet in every way. She’s quiet to handle both in and out of the stable – you can shoe her, load her, catch her from the field with no fuss at all. She hacks out confidently, alone or in company, and is good with all manner of traffic, including tractors and lorries. She doesn’t stress in new environments, settles straight in, and always shows up ready to work. She is a genuine people-pleaser – always trying her best, always with her ears forward, always a kind soul to have around.

On the flat, Queenie is a delight. She is beautifully schooled with a soft, natural outline and obedient to the aids. Her three paces are balanced and expressive: a rhythmical walk, an elevated, floating trot that’s a joy to sit to, and a naturally uphill, balanced canter with real cadence. She offers an easy ride to any level of rider – responsive yet relaxed, never sharp, never tense. She’s currently being ridden by a petite young girl, showcasing just how rideable she is, even for those stepping up from ponies or needing a confidence-giving partner to develop with.

Her presence, rideability, and natural movement will make her stand out in any dressage arena — she’s the type of horse who draws the judge’s eye the moment she enters at A. Whether you’re looking to produce a test-ready dressage partner or want something with enough quality to develop up the levels, Queenie has all the ingredients to shine.

When it comes to jumping, Queenie is nothing short of exceptional. She is careful, brave and always wants to get to the other side. She’s jumped up to 1.15m here with plenty more in the tank, making her an ideal candidate for Riding Club or Pony Club teams, or even for someone looking to go affiliated and climb the levels with a solid, trustworthy horse underneath them. She gives her rider a fantastic feeling into a fence – rhythmical, straight and steady without rushing or pulling – and she has that golden quality of being able to get herself out of trouble if the stride’s not quite right. She’s forgiving and reliable, making her a real confidence builder for someone wanting to learn or progress.

Take her across the country and she comes into her own even more. Queenie lives for cross-country – brave, straight and honest as the day is long. She’s schooled over a variety of tracks and fences, including ditches, water, steps, skinnies and combinations. She locks on, listens, and sails over without hesitation. She doesn’t get silly or strong and is always rideable between the fences – an absolute machine in the field, but always in control. She’s the sort that makes you smile from start box to finish flags.

But Queenie isn’t just an athlete – she’s a true lady, too. She has the sweetest nature you could hope for in a horse. She’s affectionate, loves fuss and attention, and has a calming energy that makes her a joy to be around. She’s a horse that greets you at the stable door with a nicker, stands like a rock for grooming and tacking up, and simply makes life easier with her good manners and willing attitude.

We are so confident in Queenie’s temperament and quality that we are offering delivery to your yard anywhere in the UK, and we’ll even consider exchange if she’s not the right fit for you. Horses like her don’t come around often – genuine, talented, beautiful and safe. She is the full package, and she’s ready to make someone’s dreams come true.

ROSE – A Rare Diamond of a Connemara Mare – Beauty, Brains, and a Temperament to Melt Your Heart

Standing at a solid 15.1hh, Rose is the kind of pony that doesn’t just turn heads – she stops people in their tracks. A 9-year-old, purebred Connemara mare, beautifully bay and Class 1 inspected with top results to her name, Rose is the full package in every sense of the word. She’s the picture of quality – beautiful with a gorgeous head and calm eye, well-made and correct, with proper bone, depth and a leg in each corner. She’s the sort of mare you’d draw if someone asked you to sketch the perfect Connemara – absolutely traditional, utterly beautiful, and built to last.

What makes Rose so special though – and what sets her apart – is how quiet and kind she is. She is a genuine dream to ride and handle – one of those rare mares you trust from day one. She has been ridden by children moving up from ponies, making that transition easy and safe. She would suit a mother-daughter share, a competitive amateur home, or even a riding school looking for a quality, educated mare that can be trusted to look after her rider while still offering them something to develop with. She is polite, settled and unfazed by everything around her – traffic, open fields, new places, busy showgrounds – she just gets on with it.

Rose is absolutely quiet and easy to ride, she has three absolutely lovely paces – straight, floating and rhythmical, with that trademark Connemara softness and swing through the back. She rides in a sweet snaffle contact, light in the hand, steady in the outline, and responsive without being sharp. She’s incredibly comfortable to sit on and gives a super feel under saddle – she listens, she tries, and she always, always wants to get it right. Her movement has the quality and class to excel in working hunter, showing, or dressage, and her brain and attitude mean she’s happy to just get on with the job, whatever that may be.

In the jumping ring, Rose really comes into her own. She’s got a cracking technique over a fence – careful, neat in front, and clever behind. She’s scopey, honest, and has absolutely no interest in touching a pole. She’s brave without being bullish and gives her rider confidence whether they’re just learning their way around a course or stepping up to something bigger. She’s been beautifully schooled and always jumps from a good rhythm, never rushing, never pulling, always listening.

Across country, she’s exactly the same – straight, honest, and full of heart. She’ll take on anything you point her at – ditches, water, drops, skinnies – with ears forward and no questions asked. She’s not strong or silly, always rideable between fences, and gives the most enjoyable ride across the country. She’s one of those rare finds who takes everything in her stride, and you get the feeling that she’s enjoying it just as much as you are.

Rose is a traditional bred Connemara mare with old and proven bloodlines. Her sire is Castleside Carrig, her dam is by Monaghanstown Boy x Killyreagh Kim.

Rose is equally lovely on the ground – easy to catch, shoe, load, clip hack out and in traffic and do absolutely everything with. Shes easy to hack out alone or in company, used to all types of farm machinery. She has no vices, is sound, open to any vetting, and is a pleasure to have in the yard. She’s affectionate without being pushy, sweet without being dull, and has that lovely calm energy that just makes people relax around her. She’s the first to greet you at the gate and the last to cause a fuss. Whether she’s being pampered by kids, hacked out alone, or popping a course at a local show, she’s just good. Through and through.

We are confident she will bring so much joy to her next home. She’s a proper horseman’s pony – bred right, built right, and brought on carefully. Horses like her are few and far between, and she’s ready to find someone who’ll love and appreciate all she has to offer.

Price includes delivery to your yard anywhere in the UK, and we’re happy to offer an exchange if for any reason she isn’t the perfect match – though we’re quite sure she will be.
