15.2hh 2022 Coloured Irish Gelding

A very smart young horse with plenty of quality and presence. is working nicely under saddle, with a soft mouth and three lovely floating paces, making him a very enjoyable ride.

He could easily go two directions depending on preference — clipped out he would make a smart, sporty competition cob, or left with his natural feather he could equally make a traditional type.

Quiet to handle
Good to shoe, box and clip
Quality young horse with lots of potential

A lovely type for someone wanting a smart young cob to produce further.

16hh homebred Bay Irish mare by Woodstock Hero.

Maisie as she’s affectionately known has been slowly and carefully produced. We’ve done a little bit of everything and she will literally turn a good at anything.

Has been to a few low level dressage’s comps with good scores and comments. Placed in the top 2 every time!
She’s jumping unaffiliated 80/85 and is really to affiliate. She’s very brave and bold and has a good scopey technique.

Maisie is brilliant to hack and is not at all phased in heavy traffic.

Good to do in all ways clip/shoe and load.

Buster was brought over from Ireland from the breeder in 2025, he had been very well handled and had a brilliant start in life and to his education. Since been with us he has been broken to ride slowly taking everything in his stride. He is super chilled and sensible in every environment, used to a hectic yard with other horses feral children, dogs and farm machinery. He has beautiful manners on the ground stands tied anywhere, loads on a wagon or trailer travels on his own or with others very well. He was perfect to clip and shoe, had his teeth done in January and is wormed to date.

Buster is hacking out on his own well, not phased my traffic and confident on his own. He is used to road work and been in open fields absolutely no issue.

We have not asked him for anything in a school as we have slowly started him but Buster has 3 forward up hill balanced paces which are the basic platform for anyone to put their own stamp on. He has a natural head carriage and oozes quality and that look at me presence with a cheeky face. He is snaffle mouthed at all times carries himself beautifully and correctly.

Buster moves straight from the shoulder very correct and flicks a toe, he floats across the ground effortlessly, has the potential for a top quality working hunter or event prospect with his bold inquisitive attitude to life.

Buster has been on group pleasure rides taking everything in his stride from travelling there standing before we set of, was sensible in open spaces in the group environment and travelled home perfectly.

Buster is full of a cheeky loving personality and ready for someone to thoroughly enjoy this summer!

His Sire is a Top Quality Producing Connamara Stallion, Rosscorn Abbey Tomboy who is by Laekens Cascade Dawn, hence where his beautiful movement and temperament come from.

He has been in his current home for 5 years and his owner has mainly used him for hacking whereby he has proved to be steady and sure in the heaviest of traffic. He is as good to hack alone as he is in a group. A real confidence over.

Has been to riding club camp, fun rides and group hacks. Good in open spaces

A very endearing character who likes attention and a fuss. Good to clip, shoe, catch.

Telford is re advertised as unfortunately his sale fell through.

Telford is the perfect family horse/mother daughter share. An easy horse to keep, handle, ride, and generally be around, he doesn’t need much management in order to just be normal!

Telford is a comfortable horse to ride he would be very untiring to hunt all day or take on a pleasure ride.

He has good manners, stopping with a voice command if required, and will do canter laps of the school on the buckle when asked. He is not spooky, tricky or particularly difficult, he is not dead but certainly wouldn’t use a situation to take advantage.

Although Telford is young - rising 5 - and still learning, he is uncomplicated, anything he was uncertain about would be fixed with a kick from the rider.

Telford has really lovely free flowing paces working on the bridle beautifully and was very well behaved at his first dressage competition. He would make a lovely riding club allrounder who you could also let a little member of the family sit on for a bit of fun.

Telford is a good looking versatile horse who would suit a lot of jobs for a lot of riders.

Good in traffic clip catch box shoe dogs ducks children farm machinery hacks alone in company etc etc

"DARROWBY DIAMANT"

Top class 4yr old grey fully registered Irish draught. 'Nobby' has the most incredible temperament, FANTASTIC movement and personality. He has been at the same home since being brought over from Ireland as a yearling,

He came to me a couple of months ago to be broken , he has been recently sat on and rode away with ease. He has hacked out , schooled in open fields and been ridden in the arena. He isn't spooky or sharp, he has most definitely been on this planet before!

A real Amateurs dream! In my opinion he will make a lovely show horse, He currently does still have his mane on but I think he would make a lovely LW Cob. Also being fully registered he is eligible for the new Irish Draught class at the 'Royal International Horse Show' If it is showing or you would like a all round horse,

He deserves the most wonderful home, This horse is definitely one not to be missed ! Please don't be put off by him being a 4yr old as I cant stress enough what a saint he is ! He is up to date with worming, dentist and farrier. No vices.

  • A real favourite with all who meet him

Bred for conformation and temperament, this kind-hearted Cob X is still low mileage and ready to go on to give someone a world of fun.

Jed is snaffle mouthed and works very nicely on the flat. With balanced, expressive paces, we think he can go on to excel in a range of disciplines, with particular potential in the show ring.

He hacks out well around roads and in open spaces, alone or in company, happy in front or behind and is good in traffic.

He’s hunted, done clinics and fun-rides with previous owner and will happily pop round a little course of jumps in a nice rhythm.

He was purchased from his breeder and has been with his current owner for three years where he has mainly been hacking and schooling since then so full history is known.

A real favourite with all who meet him, he loves people and will stand all day to be pampered.

Good to clip, shoe and catch etc. Up to date with vacc’s and teeth. Will turn out with mares or geldings.

He can sometimes get a reaction to pollen in the spring, but this has never been problematic and a nose-net tends to help. Has occasionally been seen to weave in his stable when settling into a new place or when there is lots going on.

He’s a big, well built boy and rides nicely forward off the leg so please no beginners or real novices, though he’s always been impeccably behaved!

He loves a job to do and is happiest in a regular routine. It really is hard to fault this sweet natured chap. It’s an incredibly tough decision to let him go so only this most suitable, kind and knowledgeable home is sought after.

Current owner would love to stay in touch.
He has an extensive wardrobe including fitted saddle, which can be negotiated with price.
Open to any vetting.

Guinevere came over from Ireland last year and has been slowly produced since then. She has not been rushed and all work has been done with her future in mind.

She is a real quality stamp of horse with real presence. Guinevere is a solid stamp and takes up so much leg. She would look fantastic in the show ring or on the hunt field.

Guinevere’s flatwork is coming on nicely but given her age of course still room for further production. She has started to work into a soft outline and use her body correctly. Her paces are naturally very floaty and balanced and she gives a lovely feel.

Guinevere has popped small jumps and shows real bravery, she’s not spooky or bothered by coloured fences. She’s also been out to an arena hire for some course practice and was totally unphased by bright spooky jumps in a new place.

Guinevere is good to hack and has been hacking alone and in company. She’s been solid in traffic and been great in open spaces. We’ve taken her to the woods to jump logs and fallen trees which she was totally un phased by.

Guinevere has done a hound exercise and remained sensible and good with the hounds. I think hunting could be a really ideal job for her.

Guinevere has also been for a beach ride which she was also very sensible having a gallop across the beach then walked back to the box sensibly on a long rein.
With all this being said- Guinevere is not for a beginner. She is 5 and we would like to see her further produced and be a great fun allrounder which we know she can be.

The very best of homes only for this sweet girl.

Annie - 15.2, 5 year old (2021) Irish cob mare.

Annie is the epitome of a supercob, she has so much to offer and is such a lovely kind soul that only aims to please.

Backed and ridden away last summer and mainly hacked. Annie was imported from Ireland in November from the breeder and is ready to go on to her next adventure.

3 good paces in the school and surprisingly naturally balanced for a horse of her age and type. A very comfortable canter and not big and bouncy. Hacks alone and in company, loves to box up and go for a hack to explore the countryside and pop a log in the woods. She’s a lovely forward thinking brave sort that wants to do the right thing.

Just started popping a few fences she has a lovely jump and is really honest.

She really would go on and do a variety of jobs whether that be exploring the countryside, fun rides, riding club, hunting. World is your oyster.

She has been a real pleasure to have and I ride her last every day so that I always end the day on a good note with a smile on my face! She is still learning so wouldn’t suit any very novice riders.

Good to catch, bath, load, groom, tack up. Clipped for the first time recently and was a bit worried at first but then started to enjoy the scratchy bits so settled down and stood quietly. Did have a set of shoes on but is now barefoot as she really didn’t need them her feet are solid. She thought the farrier was a bit scary but again, just young and needs reassurance.

6yr old, 15’2hh coloured mare. (Stable name Nelly)

Has been long-lined, lunged, backed and ridden away. Needs restarting after having the winter off due to injury (stated below).
Will live in or out.

Currently barefoot, has previously been shod all round. Up to date with dental, vaccinations including strangles.

Does have a callus on her left hind from a kick in the field resulting in a broken splint bone. This has now healed nicely and the callus has formed on the outside of the splint bone which means no ligaments or tendons are impacted. Our vets are positive this will not affect her ridden career. Full vet history can be disclosed.

Fabulous Fred - Smart, solid and full of quality, this stunning 15.1h 6-year-old maxi cob gelding is an absolute head-turner with excellent bone, feather and a kind, expressive face.

He has a lovely, genuine temperament and is a pleasure to handle in every way. Easy to catch, shoe, box and clip. Good to do both on the yard and out and about.

Riding nicely on the flat with three balanced, comfortable flashy paces. He has the scope and attitude to turn his hoof to a variety of disciplines, making him an ideal all-rounder or fun family horse. He would excel in the show ring, in my opinion has the potential to be a HOYS / top end show cob! Equally he’s a fabulous riding club activities or as a quality leisure horse as well.

Clean-limbed, open to vetting, and ready to find a loving home.

Fred has done loads of unaffiliated showing and is always a big hit with the judges, he’s also competed dressage and unaffiliated showjumping and has been super successful at these too.

Hacking he is better in company as he’s a little nervous of big traffic coming up behind him which is the only reason for sale as current own just wants to hack

Incredibly Sad sale, He’s been in the same home since he was 6 months old

A genuine, quality show cob who is a pleasure to have around. 10* home is a must for fabulous Fred

Smart weight carrier, Dora has a geniune and kind attitude to work. Has been driven in the past, riding away walk, trot and canter but green in canter due to her previous driving experience.

Would suit a low level rider, who wants a fun horse too leisure ride, hack, and be loved.

Dora is looking for her forever home. Unfortunatley Dora has cataracts in her left eye. Although this does not affect her ridden work she would not pass a vet for this reason hence low price.

Loving Home Wanted for Real Head Turner Black Mare
15.1hh black Cob mare – a true gem with the kindest nature you could wish for.

Temperament: As kind and genuine as they come. Easy to shoe (shod on fronts), load, clip, catch etc.

Riding: A real “turbo cob” who loves her hacking. She’ll happily go for miles alone, nothing phases her, and she stood beautifully at the Autumn meet despite it being my first time. She loves to go forward but is never silly - making her safe, fun, and confidence-giving.

Presence: A real head-turner with her striking black coat

Experience: Ideal for someone who enjoys fun rides, hacking and local shows. She’s full of character, loves her work, and will give her rider endless enjoyment.

This mare is so much fun and deserves a kind, caring home where she will be cherished. She is not just a horse, but a partner who will bring joy to the right person.

Looking for: A thoughtful, loving owner who values her kind and genuine nature, appreciates her forward-going way, and wants a horse to enjoy life with.

Meet Robby – The Ultimate Schoolmaster & Confidence Giver

Robby is a lovely 17-year-young, 16.2hh Maxi Cob gelding looking for a kind and knowledgeable home where he can enjoy happy hacking, hunting and fun days out.

A genuine schoolmaster and nanny horse, Robby has taught countless riders over the years. He is a real confidence giver and an easy, enjoyable ride. Anyone can hack him out and he has safely introduced many people to riding and hunting. He loves beach rides, pub rides, and a day out with the hounds, and has given many riders their first enjoyable days hunting.

He does require a little management once a year to keep him comfortable. X-rays have shown slight navicular changes in his near fore. His coffin joint has been injected and he wears pads in front. He is currently sound, happy and still enjoying his job, with no reason he couldn’t do a few more seasons.

Please note: Robby will not pass a full vetting, so please don’t enquire if this is essential. However, he passes the veterinary inspection every year for my riding school licence and continues to work happily.

Important:
• No time wasters
• No loans or payment plans
• Not for someone wanting to jump grassroots
• No one wanting to bring trainers – he is not going to a schooling home

Normal, genuine homes only please.

Transport can be arranged and part exchange may be considered. Priced realistically for a quick, straightforward sale, but he will not be given away.

Reason for sale: The hirelings weren’t busy enough this season so I’m rethinking my career and moving some of my older horses on to loving, knowledgeable homes.

Malcom is a super sweet natured and easy to have around.

On the flat he is responsive to your leg and has nice forward paces but is still very much more kick than pull.

He happily pops around a small course of fences including fillers. He’s never spooky. He’s a real confidence giving type.

To hack Malcom will go up the main road alone and in company, in front or behind. He’s not bothered by lorries or fast cars. He’s passed building sites with moving machinery not battering an eyelid.

For the past 3 years Malcom has been with a young girl in a pony club home. He’s been to unaffiliated shows and regularly placed. Sad sale due to school commitments and outgrown.

He’s an absolute saint for the farrier, easy to clip, load, travel, catch etc

Malcom would make someone very happy and will them with confidence.

He would make a great addition to someone’s riding school, RDA, low level all rounder or happy hacker.

Malcom is sold with a full wardrobe of rugs, bridle and fitted saddle.

This is Lilly, a mare bread by myself (07/05/2023)
Stallion: golden euro
Mare: princess poppy Anne of Ivy grange (aka kooiiee)
If Lilly ends up anything like kooiiee she will be top of her field, and with the right family I think she will blossom into an amazing mare!
She is brought up regularly for grooming and fussing and will happily stand there all day. She’s turned out with my other 2 mares and is very well behaved she doesn’t break through fencing or rip any rugs, she’s also happy to live indoors but she’s kept out (24/7) she has had rugs on however she’s kept nude as she is quite a warm horse.
She’s amazing to catch and is infact the first one to me every time, she’s amazing to lead is respectful of your space and will follow you found everywhere.
She’s good with the farrier, dentist and vet.
She’s okay to load but could do with a little more work (but I am still working on this) she’s been out to few local shows and has always behaved amazingly, stands quietly in line ups even when horses & ponies have been acting silly around her.
She’s been tacked up and walked round and that’s about it, she’s been on hacks as a lead rein while I’ve ridden another horse.
I do honestly believe she will go very far in her education with the right owners.

Her mum (who I still own) has accomplished so much, we have done successful eventing, showjumping, hunter trials, hunting, showing, dressage and driving!
She’s won supreme championships at stay away showing, she’s consistently in the top 3 out showjumping, and has won countless dressage championships, and is a weapon out on the cross country field.
I do however believe Lilly would excel in a showing career!
She will only go to a 5 star home, I do not want her passing around and if ever circumstances changed I would be honoured to have first refusal, I’m only selling her as I don’t have the time, and she’s just not quite made the height I was hoping for.
