A lovely big lad looking for his perfect home. He hacks alone and in company, great in the heaviest of traffic and doesn’t get excitable or silly hacking and cantering across big open fields.

He is snaffle mouthed and we don’t find him strong. He is barefoot with great feet. Good with the farrier, good to catch, load, travel, handle etc. Happily stands tied up in the yard with no fussing.

Up to date with teeth, feet, jabs, worming and osteopath.

He has some scars on his hind legs from a very old injury which do not affect him at all.

We would love him to go to a loving home with someone who enjoys lots of hacking. There’s no reason he couldn’t also do low level schooling/jumping and he has done this in previous homes, but this isn’t something we have done with him ourselves.

He would not suit a nervous rider.

Delphine is schooling nicely on the flat with 3 balanced paces and snaffle mouthed at all times

She has been on a handful of outings including beach rides, arena hires and cross country schooling where she proved to be sane and sensible with a bold jump

She has jumped solid and coloured fences up to 70cm and has a great can do attitude and never says no. she has scope for more but due to age we don’t want to rush or spoil her

Scout has hacked many miles alone and in company on our rural roads where he has seen quads, buses, lorries and cars always proving to be as steady as a rock in any traffic he has seen.

He is great in open fields and forests too. He has only been in the school a handful of times but has all the basics down. He is happily popping coloured poles and logs.

Scout has never bucked or reared and could be ridden by a novice but due to his age needs an experienced home to continue his education. He can be left for weeks at a time with no difference.

Mollie - approx 16.1, 5 year old ISH mare passported but no breeding recorded.

Mollie was backed and ridden away late in her 4th year over in Ireland and hacked, did some arena hires and a few days hunting with the Scarteen. Since coming over to us in January we’ve taken our time to carry on producing her and she’s now ready to find her new home to continue her education.

Mollie hacks alone and in company, enjoys boxing up for a hack and popping a log in the woods. Goes in front or behind and good in open spaces.

She’s been to a few arena hires with us (flat/sj/Xc schooling) on her own and with another horse, doesn’t hang to the other horse and happily works away on her own. She is good to take out and about and not a spooky type, she’ll have a look but is pretty bold and brave so doesn’t over react! She has an absolute ton of scope and easily popped some 100 fences at Tweseldown. She’s bold and brave XC, no issues with water/ditches/steps. Starting to string some fences together out SJ schooling and isn’t worried about fillers. Flatwork she is green in the canter (I’ve had people enquire that think this means she’s naughty in the canter, she isn’t - more that she needs more strength to learn to hold it, not bending perfectly round corners, normal young horse stuff!) coming along really well in the walk and trot. Our arena is very small for a big horse like her (18x35!) so she hasn’t been drilled in there but works happily and with some consistency (and a bigger arena!) the canter would come along quickly. Much easier when we’ve been to arena hire in a 20 x 40 or bigger!

Mollie would go on to do any job be that classy riding club/eventing/sj/hunting/dressage with time.

She is a big rangey type and a bit of a powerhouse so somebody that likes that type is ideal. I’d like her to go to an experienced home that understands she is only 5 so not the finished article!

Very sweet temperament and really tries hard to understand what you are asking of her. Good to catch/load/shoe/travel/clip. Not shown to be mareish at all here.

She is green for her age, but shows no malice , she has never bucked, reared, whipped round or bolted but she is forward, and uphill with powerful paces. she is a very nice quiet ride, nicely off the leg and never sharp.

Hacks out alone or with company, un phased by any traffic, dogs, bikes, munkjac, pheasants etc and a big dog often goes out with her. unphased by it around her legs.

Has won showing classes in hand and taken championships locally

I feel she would be more suited to a dressage / hacking home , with a knowledgeable rider, preferably someone with experience of the breed.

This mare has a lovely soft friendly cheeky character, very easy to do and deal with, comes to call , loads herself, travels well, (lorry and 3.5)

Good with farrier, (bare foot/rock hard feet) , has been shod.

Brand new fairfax saddle also available, fitted to her (neg)

Passed a 5 stage vetting when I brought her, but open to any vetting .
