Rio - 15.2hh Polo Bred Gelding 2011 Liver Chestnut

Offered to the market on behalf of his owner Rio is looking for a new best friend to call his own.

With an extensive CV Rio has lots to offer.

Hunted with the bloodhounds, Rio proved unfazed by the busy atmosphere and enjoyed being around lots of other horses and having a fast paced job to do.

Beach rides and fun rides are his favourite. Lots of cantering and adventuring around the open countryside as well as dipping his toes into the sea.

Having previously played polo he is a responsive switched on ride and prefers to take confidence from a still well balanced competent rider.

Rio will ride in an arena although he does tend to activate polo mode a little more in this environment will be more responsive than he would be on say a happy hack.

Happy jumping logs and poles when out and about - not a ready made show jumper as this hasn't ever been asked of him. With time and schooling this could just be his unfound forte.

Great on traffic and is a brave sort. Happy to hack alone and in company.

Sadly Rio was sold to his owners 6 months ago and has come back to us to be sold as he simply wasn't a good match to his less experienced jockey. Since being in our yard we have found him ever so slightly worried so think the rider horse/ combo may have left him unsettled.

That said he has also been owned by a fun loving teenager and she idolised him. He was sold purely down to family circumstances at the time - she would love to stay in touch.

Not the type to nap, bronk or rear. Not suited to a novice home - Experienced quiet riders will allow him to shine.

An absolute saint to have on the yard. A gentleman in the stable. Recently trimmed by the farrier. Clipped and only needed extra hands to do his ears and head. No stable vices.

Loads onto a trailer like a professional and travels well.

Happy to turn out with mares and geldings. Is neither top nor bottom of the pecking order so will slot into any home / yard environment.

Looking for a small compact powerhouse? Look no further, this flashy non mareish mare is the most pretty and perfect small horse you could find.

Bred for dressage she has fantastic bloodlines including Wynton, DiMaggio, Jazz, Matador.

She is so light off the floor and very well balanced.

Purchased directly from the breeder and broken in where she has been shown a little bit of everything, ridden round the farm, hacked out alone and in company, been in the school, done some polework and loose jumped. Also been to arena hires, lesson and dressage show.

She has a rubber snaffle mouth and is good off the leg. She is ready to be brought on in any sphere. Was showing good train ability and started baby leg yields, shoulder in, rein back, on and back in trot before being turned away for break. Wouldnt take long to start back up and be ready to go out

I could see her as a small dressage horse, intermediate show horse, intermediate worker, junior eventer, show jumper, or a class all rounder.

good with farrier. Lovely natured, super intelligent, kind.

Currently barefoot. Sound tough and hardy

Loaded and good to travel in trailer and 3.5 lorry

Super easy to handle on ground and away from home

Also clipped with no issues

Suit teenager/ small adult.

Sad sale as not quite big enough and a little to laid back for me.

Currently on winter break as I find it impossible to keep horses in work over winter with our lack of facilities and weather although perfectly safe to sit on even after weeks off

Would consider px / swap for something bigger sharper for dressage

Louie is a huge part of our family. I brought him 4 years ago as a green 6yo to produce then sell, but have struggled to come to terms with the selling part as he’s so special to us. This will be an extremely honest advert with as much info as possible because his home is the most important decision for me to make.

Louie is the loveliest horse to have on the yard. He is playful, inquisitive and loves attention. He lives out 24/7 in summer but does mostly stable during the winter. He’s barefoot but great to trim/shoe so could be shod again. He’s great in the field but must see other horses. He has loaded/travelled on trailers upto HGV Lorrie’s, even my non horsey mum loads him. He’s great to bath, clip, catch, etc. He’s great with other horses and will stand on the lorry by himself whilst you take other horses away. My 4yo leads him round, brushes him etc. He has no vices or allergies. He has never had the vet out for anything bar vaccinations. He does have a supplement

Louie has been produced as a showjumper for the last 4 years. He has competed at the blue chip championships, Aintree amateur finals and trailblazer finals with results. He has a record upto 1.05 with 613 points and 1.5k prize money (all since I purchased him). He does like to win and is a forward going ride. He does need a confident rider but equally he has never bucked, reared or bolted. He just loves his job. I competed Louie until I was 30 weeks pregnant with wins and still rode him on the flat until the day before I was due. I trust him completely! He’s already qualified for the 85cm & 95cm 2nd rounds 2026, The Ruby Final at the blue chip championships 2026 and Trailblazers 90cm final 2026!

Louie has 3 beautiful paces. He has taken part in a couple dressage tests for the riding club team events but this isn’t something I’m interested in.

Louie loves to hack. He’s great in the heaviest of traffic. He will happily lead or slot in behind. He hacks alone or in company. He is also regularly ridden whilst leading my other horse whilst out hacking. He’s great in open spaces and loves a good canter. He’s been to the beach and behaved impeccably, loved going in the sea. Louie will stand patiently to do gates whilst still mounted. He will spook at a blowing plastic bag but will not spook at any traffic or day to day life.

Louie has been XC schooling a handful of times but this isn’t something I regularly do so he would need some training in this area. Although he loves going in/out of water and had a great time.

Louie is such fun to ride. He’s forward, keen and loves to get on with the job. He’s responsive so would not be suitable for a novice or nervous rider. But would definitely suit a teenager wanting a pony club/riding club all rounder. His home is by far my priority and I will be vetting potential viewers to ensure suitability before wasting either of our time. Only for sale as I don’t believe Louie is suitable for a pure showjumping home, he likes variety.

I have thousands of photos/videos of his whole journey. Northampton based.

Standing at 16.2hh, this 5-year-old is a straight-moving, correct model with a leg in each corner and a super head with a kind, intelligent eye. He combines quality and temperament, making him an exciting prospect for a variety of disciplines.

He is schooling well on the flat, showing balance, trainability and a willing attitude. Happily hacking alone and in company, he is sensible in open spaces and currently jumping small fences confidently with plenty of scope to progress.

He has all the attributes to make a top-class all-rounder — equally suited to the show ring, working hunter classes, riding club activities or the hunting field. With continued education and experience, he has the temperament and type to develop into a lovely mother/daughter share.

Good to clip
Good to shoe
Travels happily in everything
Friendly, affectionate and cheeky character

He is still green due to his age and would suit a competent, experienced rider to continue his education.

Handsome British Warmblood Seeking His Forever Human

A much-loved, well-bred 16.2hh British Warmblood gelding who is on the lookout for his special person to continue his story.

He is a genuine, low mileage (14 year old) with plenty left in the tank and a huge amount of untapped potential. Due to life getting in the way (never his fault), he is now ready for a consistent, confident partner who can give him the direction and routine he thrives on.

The Important Bits
* Lovely, expressive three correct paces.
* Schooled on the flat and shows real quality for dressage.
* Hacks happily in company.
* Previously enjoyed beach rides, forest fun rides and weekends away in company.
* Good to handle and polite for the vet, farrier, physio etc.
* A real people-person who adores fuss and attention.
* He has been to a handful of low level dressage competitions and consistently scored well and would be ideally suited to a dressage-focused home or a confident rider who wants a smart, quality horse to enjoy hacking and flatwork with.

When he was younger, he was introduced to jumping but politely and firmly informed us that leaving the ground is not his preferred life choice. He would therefore not suit a jumping or eventing home (he is very much a keep all four feet safely on the floor type).

His Quirks (Because Nobody's Perfect And We Want To Be Honest)
He is a sensitive soul who takes confidence from his rider.
Very occasionally (if he questions something), he can challenge you with a drop of the shoulder and a spin.
He does not need a highly technical rider but he does need a calm, clear leader. The sort who quietly says, No, that's not happening, and means it.
He thrives on routine, consistency and clear direction. Sporadic work doesn't bring out his best.
He remains firmly uninterested in showjumping fame.
He does not like to hack alone (The monsters will come for him).

In short: he isn't looking for the most advanced rider, he's looking for someone confident, fair and decisive. In the right hands he is hugely rewarding, affectionate and full of quality.

Home is Everything
He must go to a knowledgeable, loving 5* home where he will be kept in regular work and cherished. This is far more important than price.

Price includes tack and rugs

A smart, genuine little mare with so much to offer. A true allrounder who is an honest, keen jumper and moves beautifully on the flat. She produces a lovely dressage test and is an absolute pleasure to ride.

This mare is not a plod and would not suit a beginner or novice rider. She knows her job, is forward-going and responsive, and can be buzzy to a fence as she absolutely loves her jumping. She needs a competent jockey who enjoys riding a horse that is on the button and ready to go. That said, she is never nasty or silly — she simply enjoys her work

She would be ideal for an experienced teenager or adult wanting a genuine, capable partner to go out and enjoy themselves on.

She hacks out happily and has not been phased by traffic.

Super easy to have around and good to do in all ways:

• Clips, loads and travels well

• Good for the farrier (currently barefoot with excellent feet)

• Snaffle mouthed

• No vices or hang-ups

Up to date with vaccinations, dentist and physio.

A lovely, straightforward mare ready to find her next home and give someone plenty of fun.

Sensitive Allrounder looking for forever home

  • Schools nicely, enjoys popping a few jumps
  • Very loyal companion horse, well behaved in the herd

Due to daughter's study commitments and her leaving for university we are rehoming our handsome gelding Ozzie.

- Needs a knowledgeable, patient and competent rider/handler. Sensitive horse that prefers a quieter environment and calm consistent handlers.
- Once warmed up Ozzie is a nice forward ride. Enjoys hacking in woodland and fields - keen to canter at the head of a group. Can nap while hacking alone if unsure, but takes confidence from his rider so he can be lead past any issues and carry on.
- Never bolted or reared.
- Full history known. 1 owner prior to us, who produced him from the field aged 6, and evented him 3 times. We bought him 4.5 years ago age 9 primarily for showjumping and hacking. Has jumped clear 80cm and 90cm courses, and up to 1.20m in jumping clinics but has lost confidence and will plant in a show/arena environment. Still enjoys short sessions of fun jumping (and is very forward) where height is built up gradually.

- Currently out on grass in the day/in at night but could live out 24/7 with field shelter
- Very loyal companion horse, can be turned out with mares and geldings. Has displayed separation anxiety after joining a new herd, this improved once settled in. Finds being on his own stressful. Happiest when turned out daily, and able to have visual and physical contact with stable neighbours (e.g. through bars). Currently comes in from field with his bonded companion.

- Up to date with vaccinations, farrier, dental and saddle checks. Consistently low worm counts.
- Good for farrier, vet, dentist.

- Has been barefoot for 2 years, wears boots on fronts for hacking on hard ground. Good with farrier so could be shod in new home if necessary.

- History of glandular ulcers, since scoped clear. Managed with turnout and constant access to forage. Food guards in stable.
- Diagnosed with arthritic joint in neck 2 years ago. Since then has had twice yearly steroid injections to maintain comfort and suppleness when schooling and jumping. These may not be necessary if going to a hacking-only home.
- Full vet records at Bell Equine can be disclosed, vet is happy to discuss any concerns.
- Comes with Agria lifetime equine policy in place (unfortunately neck injections are not covered)

- Hesitant loader. No trailers. In previous home travelled with company on 7.5t lorry. He has only travelled a few times in a 3.5t box while we have owned him, as we do not have our own transport, and have hacking and excellent riding facilities/instructors/shows at our yard. Loaded and travelled fine with a little sedation.
- Good on quiet roads, used to cars, vans etc. Familiar with yard vehicles such as JCBs, forklift truck, tractors. Good with dogs.

- Ozzie will make a lovely ridden horse to someone who is prepared to give him time to settle in and do the positive training required to get the best from him.

- Comes with tack and boots (fronts)

- Can be viewed at livery yard in Bexley/Sidcup (South East London/Kent border, can be accessed via non ULEZ road)

- No loans or trials

The ultimate Christmas cob!

Stunning dun & white cob

Tyson has got one of the nicest temperaments you will ever find in a horse. He loves having fuss and attention and will stand to be groomed and pampered for hours. He’s definitely a yard favourite here such a mannerly young cob!

He has a great laid back temperament and Will let you get on from mounting block or ground.

He is a great allrounder and will turn his hoof to anything asked of him. Although he is young he has started his education with his schooling and he is coming along nicely with three lovely balanced paces. He would go out and do a nice dressage test. We have also jumped him over some fences at home where he has proven him self to be a very honest careful jumper.

He is good to hack alone or in company. Not phased by farm machinery or any traffic you can hack him on the busiest of roads.

This cob is top quality and one that will go far!

He is good to do in all ways

No lumps or bumps

  • She would be a fantastic all rounder
Drew is such an honest mare with a completely lovable character and is definitely a yard favourite. Myself and my daughter have owned her for 5 years now, in that time my daughter has used Drew for happy hacking, fun rides and general schooling but due to increasing work commitments she has only been in light work for 2 years. Now due to circumstances we are having to make the decision to part ways with Drew which is very difficult.

Drew is great with traffic, she rides alone or in company (she does prefer to follow though) . I would say that Drew is not completely a novice ride as she does have the higher gears too and can get a little excited at times and she does seek confidence from the rider at times (never silly or strong) . She would be a fantastic all rounder but just needs bringing back into work!
She needs a bit of schooling as she is very unbalanced on the one rein. However she works in a stunning outline. She has a dipped back, which she had always had, it does get better when in work and exercised regularly, and doesn’t cause her any problems.

Shes fabulous to catch, load, farrier, dentist, bath etc.

I have contact details for most of her previous owners as she had lived locally for most of her life.

I will only consider a 5* home for Drew as that’s what she deserves!

100% in all traffic, safe and sensible to ride, has not done dressage or jumping with me purely down to lack of transport but would happily do these. Will ride first or last. She will look for confidence from her rider if she is unsure.

Has shown in hand locally and her behaviour is impeccable, she would easily be able to contest the affiliated in hand and ridden classes but sadly as mentioned above we have not been able to peruse these due to lack of transport.

She has clean limbs and correct true to type conformation and would also be an asset to any stud as a broodmare - has had a couple of foals previously and has been a fantastic mum.

100% on the ground to handle, she is more like a oversize dog! Good to bath (not too keen on her legs) shoe, vet, teeth, load etc!

Lucy is only available to the very best of homes as this is not a decision that has been taken lightly and is a heartbreaking sale due to my circumstances, she has been in the same home for 5 years and it took me years to find her.

Please note she is currently in her winter woolies and lives out 24/7.

This is an abolutley heartbreaking sale of Sammy. I have owned Sammy for 4 years, and ONLY selling due to not having the time he deserves anymore.

Sammy absolutley loves life. He loves to be out and about, he loves fuss and attention, he loves new adventures. He is never sick or sorry and never has an off day. Sammy is a very forward going ride, and is always full of energy and fun.

Showjumping
Sammy loves showjumping. He never ever refuses, he will attempt the jump infornt of him no matter how wrong his rider is. Sammy is comfortable jumping up to 90cm courses, however I do feel that with the right education he is certainly capable of much more.
He is very forward going over a jump. He locks on and hes going over it. He occasionaly does a little leap going into the jump. But this is all part of the fun. He is great in a jump off, got the speed and the turns. Sammy is very rarely not placed in a show.

Hacking
A wonderful hack. Forward, fun, but safe. Sammy has done beach rides, pub rides, fun rides, hacks on his own, in a large group and is fantastic in traffic. He has a fast walk and is usually up front, but will hapily walk on the buckle. If we are in a group and we canter, he is easy enough to hold back and stay at the back. He is never out of control or bombs off. He has hunted a handful of times and was very well behaved, no different to his usual self out hacking.

Cross country / arena eventing
Nothing phases sammy, he will jump ditches, logs, bushes, trees, hedges and water. Happy to land in water. Sammy has done the derby show in broomes plenty of times and has never put a stop in, and charges across the bridge.

Sammy is easy to handle in all situations. He is calm, kind, and always full of mischeif. Sammy has a massive personality and never fails to make us laugh.
Sammy is good to shoe, catch, clip, and load.
He lives with mares and geldings, and is stabled at night in the winter.
He does like turn out as he gets bored.

The Negatives
As ive said, sammy is forward going, and he does like a cheeky buck. It is absolutley nothing malicious, it is purely playfulness. His bucking is worse when he is ridden in the school at home. When he is in a show, he never bucks in the ring. Might have one in the warm up, but never in the ring. When we are out hacking, if he knows he is on a canter path, he wil do a little buck as if it to say "come on lets canter" but like I said, he never bolts off. My mum hacks him often, and even though she is very experienced, she is also a pretty nervous rider, but she really enjoys riding him.
I let my daughter ride him, and I let my friends ride him, with no concerns whatsoever. He is just not for a novice.

Sammy would be perfect for a confident teenager who just wants to go out and do everything and have loads of fun.

Sammy will only be going to the most perfect home, No timewasters, as I cannot stress enough what a hard sale this is.

10 year old 16.1 gelding for sale. Max is an Irish sports cob who was imported from Ireland 5 years ago to be a mother daughter share, however my daughter is now giving up and he his too good to just be a happy hacker with me.

In the 5 years that we have owned Max he has been to regular clinics, fun rides, camps, hunting, dressage and county shows regularly coming home with rosettes. He hacks out alone and in company, where he is happy to be first or last.

Jumping is one of his favourite things, he will jump anything and gives his rider lots of confidence. He is currently jumping at 80cm but has scope to go bigger.

We regularly refer to Max as a bit of a turbo cob as he enjoys his work and is very much more go than woah therefore not for a novice/nervous rider. He does best when he has a job and would turn his hoof to anything. A pony club/hunting/competition home would be his idea of heaven.

Easy to clip, shoe, load, travel etc.

Will live out 24/7 but will also stable. Has lived with mares and geldings always getting on with everyone.

Max is up to date with his vaccinations, teeth and physio.

£15,000 with full tack and wardrobe. Which would include a Kent &Masters dressage and GP saddle, his bridles and rugs.

Open to vetting and instructors. Plenty of pictures and videos on request.

15hh 7 yrs piebald cob x Welsh mare

Fun all rounder and super hack. Would enjoy doing some PC or RC and has done unaff dressage previously.

Rosie is a sweet mare who is quiet to ride, and more woah than go, she’s not sharp or silly but can have an opinion on things and as such needs a rider / handler who’s not totally novice as we feel she would quickly learn to take advantage if she thought she could. She enjoys her work in and out the school and is keen to please.

With us she hasn’t put a foot out of line but does need reminding of her manners occasionally as can be a bit rude! Nothing someone half competent can’t handle though. She has been with older novice ladies doing some dressage but quickly realised they were a bit wet and she could walk all over them.

She’s a mare who likes a firm leader and then is an absolute doddle.

Please don’t expect a cuddly mare! She has a great resting bitch face, I feel this will improve but she very much needs one to one and to find “her person “, she’s not a biter or a kicker but just not in your face and pockets and rather be left to be a horse when she can. Rosie is very much a girl who likes clear direction, she appreciates an assertive human who just tells her to get on with things.

She hacks out very well alone and in company, will go first or last. Happy to go for a gallop then go back to a steady plod. Very good in traffic. Been hacking here with everyone from novice teens upwards. She’s still a little green in the school and her canter needs a bit of work, she’s been ridden badly and very backwards previously but improves every day, She wants to work in a shape and tries hard to please just hasn’t really been taught where the go button is so can be a bit slow with her transitions currently and falls out of canter.

She’s a nice mover with flashy paces and definitely has a lot of potential to be out and about willing rosettes but needs a bit of flat boot camp first. She loves her jumping and although green as grass never says no and jumps anything you ask of her. She has taken part in jumping clinics since being with us again ridden by keen teenager. With further work she will do all PC and RC activities, unaff SJ, XC etc. she would be a nice type to take hunting as she’s steady but capable.

Perfect to catch, box, clip, shoe etc. she’s very sweet with other horses, happy to live in or out. She’s a lovely mare that just needs polishing off in to being the perfect rounder.
Seen at livery.

Jude is an absolutely gorgeous 15h dapple grey 6 year old reg Connemara mare. For sale on behalf of her owner.

Jude is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. Superb stamp with a lovely chunky body wothout being wide and heavy. She is very well bred with 5 generations of pedigree recorded. She is a very striking colour being a dark dapple grey with a unique black mane. She has such a kind pretty head, she really is stunning. She catches the eye where ever she goes and stands out from the crowd. She is an ideal size for teens coming off ponies as well as adults so would make a brilliant mother/ daughter share too. She is a very desirable type that will do lots of jobs. She has excellent conformation, is blemish free and has good feet (Nn for hoof wall). She is the perfect alrounder who excels across all disciplines with a real “can do” attitude, she is lovely now but has so much more to come with a very exciting future ahead of her.

Jude works really nicely on the flat with a regular rhythm. She has nice active paces and works correctly between leg and hand into a soft outline. Se is nice and light in the contact and always ridden in a snaffle. She is a good medium speed who is nicely forward going with good transitions. She is a responsive ride so just needs a squeeze and not a pony club kick, so a rider with a bit of feel would be her perfect match. She is a lovely straight forward ride who gives her rider a great feel. She is schooling lovely now but still has more to come as she hasn’t been rushed; she has been quietly produced to date. She has such a lovely attitude to her work and is a quick learner who always has a smile on her face and wants to please. She has so much potential to excel in dressage, she has been out to arena hires and clinics and is now ready to go to a competition and work her way through the levels.

Jude loves her jumping and makes a lovely shape over a fence. She nicely takes you into a fence and is very honest and genuine to jump. She doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. She is very bold and jumps all fillers first attempt confidently. She has been to several jumping arena hires and training clear rounds where she has shown lots of potential for all riding club competitions ect. She has been jumping around 80cm courses currently with potential to jump higher, but again hasn’t been rushed. She has also been attending pole work clinics which she loves. She is very good to ride at new places and has a very good attitude to her jumping. She has done a few small jumping competitions in Ireland with her previous owner and is now ready to crack on and go competing over here. She is equally as bold over xc jumps. She was very ridable and jumped everything asked of her in a sensible manner including water and steps. She has done some areana eventing clear rounds where she was great fun. I can see her really excelling as a pony club/ riding club alrounder. She would even event as she is good at all 3 disciplines, so a lovely Cotesworld cup contender.

Jude hacks alone and in company. she is good with traffic and is confident to lead, not the spooky type. She has also done some fun rides in her previous home in Ireland.

Jude has a superb kind friendly temperament. She loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend as she is so interactive and forms a really strong bond. She loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. She is a good to handle in all ways. She lives in and out and is happy turned out next to or in with other horses, she is very quiet in the field and gets on well with all horses and ponies. She is good to shoe, bath, catch, lead ect. She loads perfectly (single handed) and travels like a dream. She really is such a genuine honest horse who deserves the best of homes.

Jude would be very suitable for a competent teenager coming off ponies and adults alike. She would make a fabulous riding club/ pony club alrounder. As well as a lovely dressage and eventing prospect. Sadly for sale due to her owners change in circumstances. Her owner would very much like to keep in touch as she thinks a lot of Jude. She is very sound and healthy, passed a 5 stage vetting in November 2025 and is open to another vetting.

Maverick - 15.1hh 5-year-old gelding (Turbo Cob)

Recorded breeding

Maverick is a quality young gelding with excellent presence and ability. He offers three balanced, correct paces and a bold, scopey jump.

This is not an average cob and would be best suited to a competent rider. He has no malice, but thrives on variety in his work and enjoys an active lifestyle. He happily keeps up when cantering with thoroughbreds and shows particular aptitude for jumping, including cross-country.

Maverick has a great attitude to work and is proving straightforward to manage. He hacks well both alone and in company, is sensible in traffic, and is good to load, clip, and handle in all routine aspects.

He will be hunting on a few more occasions, and further schooling videos will be taken this week.

A talented and versatile young horse with plenty of quality for someone looking for more than the usual cob
