Harry – 16.2hh Irish Draught Gelding by Fintan Himself, 6 Years Old

Imported from Ireland as a two-year-old and carefully produced by ourselves. Harry has been used as a hireling for the past two seasons, ridden by a wide variety of clients. He is a true old-fashioned Irish type – plenty of bone, a leg in each corner, and the temperament to match.

A real armchair ride with a lovely soft mouth. Never pulls. He will jump absolutely anything you point him at – timber, wire, hedges, ditches – nothing phases him. While well-established on the flat, he has primarily been used for hunting.

Harry is never silly or sharp. He is not strong and does not buck, bolt, rear or nap. A real gentleman in every way – he’s good to do in and out of the stable, hacks alone or in company, and is completely unfazed by traffic.

A mannerly, straightforward horse with a lovely temperament – truly one for the whole family.

**Does have a curb to his off hind. Had since a two year old. Hunted three seasons on it. Does not affect him in anyway and is purely cosmetic. Fully formed. Some vets do not like them. Needing the person viewing to have some common sense about this. Not needing a 5 stage vetting & wanting to insure for a million quid. He is a very good hunter.

Milly is an exciting young prospect, she will make a fabulous event horse, dressage horse, show jumper, or a great mother/daughter share. Perfect for a first horse off ponies. Really kind natured and a very safe honest ride. Can be ridden by a novice but equally good enough for a competitive rider.

Milly hunted last season with the North Mayo Harriers and has competed successfully in hunter trials in Ireland, proving very bold and brave! She has jumped clears round 90cm at training shows and is ready to go out and jump a British Novice. She’s very honest to jump, will pop over absolutely any filler and is not at all spooky! Has recently done SJ clinics at Kelsall Hill.

She is very safe and sensible for her age. Hacks out like a dream alone and in company, passing traffic sensibly and very happy to leave the yard by herself. She loves exercising at the beach.

I can’t say enough good things about this kind mare. Milly is a pleasure to handle and deal with in every way. She has no vices. Stands quiet to groom, bath, tack up. She doesn’t change away from home, she loads and travels very well. She will stand on the box quietly by herself, you don’t even notice she’s there! She happily lives out in the field but just as happy to be stabled.

She rides lovely on the flat with three correct paces and working well in a natural outline. She would do a great dressage test. She’s snaffle mouthed at all times, not at all strong.

Looking for a perfect home for Milly, she really deserves it and has so much to give somebody. Open to any viewings/vet inspections. She passed a five stage vetting on purchase. She is priced very well before we put more work into her and get her out registered BS.

She has done all Pony Club activities, including camps and rallies, and last year won a one-day event and qualified for both regionals and nationals in 80cm showjumping most recently Spring Festival in April this year. Foggy is a super all rounder - shared between me (16) and my 5ft 5 Mum! Never sick or sorry, foggy can turn his hand to anything - sadly we are selling though as Mum is riding less due to work and now I have completed my GCSE’s I am looking for my heart horse and we haven’t won the lottery so cannot afford two! He has done everything - showjumping, ,arena eventing and cross country comfortably jumping a metre and over in each discipline - though given a choice his favourite by far is arena eventing/eventing. Dressage is not his favourite! Goes off any stride and doesn't look at a fence.

Hacks regularly on the South Downs with a mum and the dogs - alone and in company, stands for gates and will go infront or behind. A BFG on the ground, good to shoe, clip, dentist, and travel, all over super ready to handle at home and away. He excels in his cross country and arena eventing where he is placed every time. This horse is amazing but please no novices - I had to re advertise due to so many novices applying last time - hes a saint but hes a sports horse - the key is in the word SPORTS....

Haven’t tried hunting but he did in Ireland as a youngster and I am;m sure he would love it! No vices ,he had a minor wind op when he was young (hence the name) but we’ve not found it affects his performance. This horse will only available to private 5 star and FOREVER home.
