We weren't made aware that Ellie had sarcoids when we purchased her, so we're simply looking to get back what we paid and find her a great home. She has four sarcoids, all situated on the inside of her hind legs and away from tack. One appears to have been previously treated.

Ellie is an absolute pleasure to have around. She's easy to handle, loves being groomed and bathed, and loads first time.

She arrived with sharp teeth, which have now been sorted, and since then her schooling has been coming on leaps and bounds. To jump, she's great fun. Brave, uncomplicated and genuine to a fence, with the attitude to make a really smart Bronze League prospect.

She's supposedly hunted for two seasons before coming to us. We've taken her on a Quorn ride where she behaved impeccably - relaxed, sensible and not strong. She's bold enough for a hedge while remaining careful and clever through trappy country.

She's typical of one that's recently come over from Ireland: she needs more topline and has a few marks, but she's a cracking little mare with plenty going for her.

Tilly was expertly backed by a 5* rider last year and has been professionally brought back into work. She has 3 balanced, uphill paces.

Choccy Woccy Doo Dah (aka Darcy) is a stunning 16.1hh, 10yo dark chestnut mare and is sadly looking for a new home due to her owner’s personal circumstances. Darcy’s owners bought her as a 2yo so her full history is known and she is very loved so a home that are happy to keep in contact is important.

Darcy is fairly low mileage for her age but has done plenty of arena hires, XC schoolings and a couple of unaff DR & SJ with good success. She’s been with us for just over a month to run through her paces ready for sale and has always been an absolute pleasure to have around!

Darcy has 3 very big, forward moving floaty paces therefore would not be suitable for a novice rider however she has proven safe with everything asked of her. Darcy has jumped round courses of showjumps 1m+ including fillers and water trays without questioning anything and I’m sure with more fitness she’d easily go plenty higher! She is equally very fun out XC and has flown over some very big beefy jumps - this combined with her impressive paces would make her a fantastic eventer or just a super cool all rounder for someone to have lots of fun on! I also think she’d be an absolute blast hunting or team chasing!

Darcy loves to hack out too! She’s brilliant with traffic, big lorry’s and farm machinery etc. and is great to hack alone and in company. We often use her as a lead horse for the babies as she’s so reliable!

Boy Browning (BB) is now looking for his next home, where someone can continue his education and fulfil the huge potential he has shown.

BB is a lovely young horse with all the attributes to make an RoR grassroots event horse. He has an exceptional attitude to his work, genuinely enjoys having a job and is an honest, willing and straightforward ride.

One of BB's greatest strengths is his outstanding temperament under saddle. He is easy to mount, impeccably behaved on the roads and hacks confidently both alone and in company. He is happy to leave or be left by other horses without becoming anxious and even after several weeks - or sometimes months - out of work, he remains sensible enough to simply tack up and ride, with no need for lunging or special preparation.

He has competed successfully in dressage at Kelsall, Reaseheath and Tushingham, consistently producing pleasing tests and coming home in the ribbons. He has also been out show jumping, where he continues to gain confidence and experience. With regular schooling and a confident rider, there is no doubt he has plenty more to offer.

BB has made an excellent start to his eventing career, finishing 2nd in his first BE80, highlighting the exciting potential he has for the future. He may pull faces and can threaten to bite, so he does require a confident and competent handler on the ground. This has never caused any issues while he has been with us, but we feel it is important to be completely transparent.

Importantly, this behaviour is never reflected under saddle. When ridden, BB is kind, genuine and uncomplicated and always trys his best.

Samson ⭐️

The Apple of my eye my little Sammy starfish! I bought Sampson as a 2yo, and have had the privilege of producing him. He has been the most wonderful little horse and a total pleasure to do in all ways. He is a much sought after cross Connemara x draught, he combines native hardiness with athleticism and a cheeky but very level headed nature.

He was broken in with us last yr as a 3yo, had the winter off to mature and then came in this summer to continue his education.

Sammy is good to hack, alone or in company. He never naps. He is good in all traffic/bikes/farm machinery. He is super to ride in open spaces and big grassy fields. He has been on a couple of steady fun rides and was very good and not phased by anything.

He is working well in the school for his age. He works in a soft outline and is very balanced. He has a lovely mouth and is really working well in the contact. He canters on the correct lead and has a basic understanding of lateral work. He has attended a couple of prelim dressage tests and has always done a sweet test and been in the ribbons! He is not bothered by the boards and isn’t spooky in the arena.

He has been to the beach and was perfect in a snaffle and not strong cantering with others.

Samson is showing lots of promise over a Showjump. He has been to some arena hires and a couple of unaffiliated shows. He has never stopped at anything and is super willing and careful. He is an easy horse to ride to a fence as he is always looking ahead to the next job! He has a lovely even canter around a course, and I can’t wait to see what this little chap does in the future.

Sampson is wonderful xc, he is very brave with water/ditches/skinnies. He has been xc schooling on an arena as well as on grass.

Sampson is a super talented jumper, he easily loose jumps 130 for fun. He is a super exciting prospect for the future for riding club / pony club/ grass roots.

He is good to do in all ways, he is good to shoe, lives in or out, good to bath, load, travel, catch. He is good with other horses. He is a plucky, jolly little horse. He has a fabulous attitude and he is super intelligent. I would like to see him in a home produced on to event as this is where I think he will shine. But similarly he will be happy being loved by someone! Open to any vetting. Please note- he dishes with both fore limbs. Is this is something that you do not want, or something that wouldn’t be acceptable for showing then he probably isn’t for you!

A Very Nice Strong sort of horse with a Lovely, gentle manner.

She is just big. 'Leaves of Autumn' is a Clydesdale X Friesian and moves well for a horse of her size.

Professionally backed and riding on quietly. Snaffle mouth. I think she would make a nice Police Horse. Nothing seems to faze her, she looks, takes it in, moves on with a little voice or encouragement from the leg.

She is good with lorries and traffic. I came across 20 or so cyclist the other day, in our country lanes and she just stood and waited for them all to move on. Rides through roaming cattle and wild moorland ponies.

She is not brain dead just a sensible person. I would like to dressage her but my transport has been out of action and she is only up for sale as I am losing my rented land of 35 years. Autumn has not travelled much but needs the practice. Has front shoes.

She has two small splints that came up over this hot spell with the hard ground. I'm hopeful they will eventually disappear.

On the flat, she is currently working at a basic level and continues to improve consistently with regular schooling. She is still progressing in her education, and can occasionally have a green moment, therefore she would not suit a complete novice rider. However, she is genuine, willing, and straightforward, making her an exciting horse for someone wanting a quality mare to continue producing.
