The wonderful AJ is sadly looking for a new home

Aj has competed to newcomers BS with numerous clears and scope for plenty more, skipping over the top of the wings at home. He’s incredibly careful with a lovely technique and gives a great feel over a fence. He’s snaffle mouthed and a real gentleman to a fence. He is very well bred being directly by the infamous Quidam De Revel and very much bred for the jumping job! Kampala is BS name. Was professionally produced so is well schooled and knows his job through and through.

More recently AJ has also taken part in more all rounder activities, pony club activities, dressage & eventing!

Aj is however a competition horse, and proven to be a bit much horse for his current jockey, he is never nasty, never has any malice to him and is a lovely character both ridden and on the ground. But equally he has a big jump and likes to be busy and have a job, and is not for a novice and requires a confident experienced jockey to get the most out of him, with the right rider he will jump 1.30s.

Aj is very easy to do in all ways, loading, hacking, clipping, shoeing etc. will live in or out and friendly with other horses. A real sweetheart on the yard!

No medical quirks or history, open to any vettings.

Plenty of videos available on request

SMART & SAINTLY DRESSAGE SCHOOLMASTER

Harry, who is a 16.1hh ISH, is one in a million. It’s an over-used phrase, but he really is. Here’s why (and who he’s right for):

• Competed successfully up to Advanced Medium, but equally happy to do a Prelim (you can look up his record on BD – ‘Keep Spirits Up’).
• Wonderful to compete for the most nervous/amateur of riders – so chilled at a competition
• A true schoolmaster – dozens of gears and buttons – incredibly amenable at all levels
• Excellent conformation and way of going - ‘born on the bit’
• Incredible manners, both at home and away in every way – in the field, stable, with the farrier, dentist, vet, loading, at a competition – you name it, he does it all with grace and charm
• Never, ever known to buck, rear, spin, bolt, nap or anything horrid, no vices.
• Wonderful to hack out in any situation, on his own or in company, takes anything and everything we meet out hacking in his stride – and doesn’t change his way of going out hacking even when very fit.
• Adores people – loves his cuddles
• So chilled to look after – if he has to stay in due to fields being wet for days on end, he still won’t hot up; turn him out on his own or in company – no ifs buts or anxieties (other than a rug in the corner of an arena that wasn’t there the day before!); if you can’t ride him for a couple of days, he’s still the same!
• A very good doer (cheap to run) and yet very easy to keep in good shape
• Healthy, great feet and teeth, low maintenance vet-wise
Harry may be right for you if you:
• Want to compete in dressage anywhere between Prelim and Advanced Medium (n.b. his points mean you have to compete at BD Silver, not Bronze), and want a truly seasoned, calm performer and schoolmaster – great for BD/Petplan and/or riding club teams
• Love to hack out, alone and/or in company on a horse you know you can trust
• Love the idea of a true schoolmaster with whom you can really progress and learn – or maybe you just want a great friend with whom you can put into practice what you already know, at the level you’re happy with
• Love being around your horse as well as riding him – he’s delightful company and loves people
• You’re not a novice looking for a horse to learn to ride on – you’re a competent amateur who would love to benefit from his experience and form a partnership to enjoy competing/riding club/hacking. You need to ride him, not be a passenger.
• You don’t think, hmm he looks like he can jump. He can, but he just doesn’t particularly enjoy it. I would like him to go to a flatwork home.
• Like to keep a horse like a horse, not a machine
I bought Harry when I was recovering from an illness two years ago and I thought I would keep him forever, but the illness has returned, and he needs to go to a home that can get the most out of his talents and wonderful nature. Over the last 2 years, other than one brief outing, I haven’t been able to get him out and about competing, but he is kept at at a dressage yard with excellent facilities, hacked out and ridden by me, being trained by Georgia Stokes, and also ridden and schooled regularly by the yard owner, who rides at Inter 1 level, again with Georgia training. I’m in my mid-60s with an ongoing illness, but he’s just as polite and willing for me as he is for a professional rider. He is fit and ready to compete now.
He has hunted and is apparently wonderful, with immaculate manners, and not strong. He used to event, but he really isn’t interested in jumping, although happy to do pole work, raised poles, etc.
A good, active, loving home and references essential. He turned 14 in late April– he has years of experience behind him, and years ahead of him for you to enjoy.
Hard to put a price on his saintly nature and true schoolmaster qualities, but I would pay the asking price over again anytime – his blend of kindess and knowledge is unmatched in any horse I’ve ever met – and others say the same.
Can be viewed at livery near Malmesbury in Wiltshire
Please message me via the ad or via WhatsApp and tell me why you would be interested in Harry and something about you. I’ll then be happy to send you videos and more pictures.
Note re videos: There's a video of me cantering up a field, just so you can see him in an open space, and me riding him in the school, so you can see how he is with a real amateur who has never ridden above Novice BD. Further videos available on request. NO LOANS OR LEASES.

A wonderful talented mare. Only competed 6 times BD successfully prelim/novice/elementary gained up to 76%. Training medium level at home. Very trainable to move up the levels with someone who has more time for her.

Jade is a very willing mare. Her paces are elastic and very eye catching. This horse is the same every time you ride her even if you leave her for a month and get back of her she wouldn’t bat an eye. Will try her hardest at everything she does.

Jade is a beautifully mannered, straightforward horse who is a pleasure both under saddle and on the ground. With no vices and an easy going temperament, she is an ideal partner for someone looking to progress confidently up the levels.

Jade does also have the ability of jumping. After having 2 kids and a busy lifestyle, I just don’t have the time to show the potential that she has.
Great loading and travelling out to competitions and lessons. Travels well. Great with farrier, vet, physio etc. Always been barefooted. Same home since she was 3 years old. Backed her myself.

Although she rides very quiet, not sharp nor spooky Experienced riders only. She rides very simple and forward.

Very sad sale. For Sale due to current owner doesn’t feel she has enough time for her with having 2 young kids. She truly is a mother’s dream that looks after her rider.

Serious Enquirers only.

16.1h well bred 13yrs gelding KWPN school master. Registered Dutch Warmblood by Uphill x Lancelot.

Georgio (stable name Guus) is a very kind, gentle soul who enjoys human company. He has a very polite manner.

His full history is known. Present British owners have owned him for 2 years and moved with him from the Netherlands to the UK in the summer of 2024.

Beautifully schooled Georgio enjoys his work. More push than pull type.

Current owners bought him for their teenage daughter to compete and she rode in the equivalent of BD Novice level. He previously competed in the Netherlands at Z1 level, equivalent to BD Advanced Medium. He has also previously competed at 80/90cm Showjumping and arena XC. He also enjoyed clinics including equitation (similar to Trec)

Sadly school commitments have meant that riding and competing are having to take a back seat and the heart breaking decision has been made to find this special horse a home where he will be enjoyed to his full potential.

In the UK Georgio is eligible to start at Prelim. Since moving he has been to unaffiliated dressage competitions and been placed either First or Second in each test- never scoring below 65%.

Georgie has also competed showjumping indoors and outdoors 70/80cm showing to be brave and settled. He would enjoy clinics and combine training.

He is a true schoolmaster who loads well in a box or a trailer. Once at a show he needs minimal warm up and just clicks into show mode.

Georgios only quirk is hacking. He is currently hacked around the livery yard farm land and he will walk, trot and canter alone or in company, but if he does get spooked he can spin and canter off. Because of this we do not feel he is suited to a home with varied hacking in open spaces. He has been priced to reflect this to allow for an understanding home where he will be loved and understood as he is now.

His current owners would love to stay in contact as a good home is their highest priority.

Extensive high-quality wardrobe of tack and rugs are also available.

For further details please phone Sarah current rider.

Based Surrey M25 j10.

Please leave a message if phone not answered.

  • Confidence giving / experience
  • Fun character, laid back but knows its stuff
  • Easy to handle, take to shows on my own
Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 5 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 2 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Would like to start doing more dressage so ideally a horse that can show me the ropes and help me out.

I do enjoy the odd fun ride with a friend so would be nice if I can do this without the horse jogging the entire way or running off when another horse comes past. (Had many of these type of horses when I was younger, my body was more able back then)

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Height - 15.2hh to 16.2hh don’t want anything smaller. May consider something bigger but I am only 5ft2 so don’t want to be over horsed.

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

Ideally looking to buy from a private home, someone who has had their horse for a while and knows a lot of history.

Horse must be open to vet and vet history.

If you think you may have something to suit please get in touch.

I am also happy to keep in touch with previous owner etc.

Sorry no full TB/ex racer or cobs
Happy to receive what’s app videos etc
I’m based in North wales, happy to travel for the right horse.

Thanks for reading.

******** Please please only message if your horse fits my criteria above. I have had a lot of people messaging me with 4 year olds/ rising 5 year old or 13/14 years old. This is not what I’m after - I already have youngsters at home and 2 retired horses. ***********

- 1st place 2* 1.40m in Lier from over 100 staters
- 3rd in a 3* 1.45m in Sentower

He’s had 20 top 5placings in the last 12 months from 1.35m speed classes - 1.50m GP’s.

Bart is one of a kind! He’s this nicest kindest horse you could meet with so much character and always try’s 110% no matter what’s asked of him. He’s a hot blood forward thinking bouncy horse but is very safe and genuine! He never gets fresh or silly, doesn’t buck rear or nap. He’s same if he’s ridden every day or once a month.
He rides nicely on the flat, is great to hack and a real pleasure to have on the yard.

He’s jumped all across Europe and at big county shows, he’s happy jumping on any surface and at any venue.

He’s a lovely type, very compact and workman like. He’s never sick or sorry, has never had any injuries and never been treated/ medicated.

Clean correct and vice free.

A very sad sale of a much loved horse.

He’ll make a top juniors or young riders horse for a capable confident young rider or would equally fit right into a professionals string. He’s so brave and genuine to a fence he would also suit an amateur wanting to move up the levels and gain some experience round some bigger classes!

Genuinely sad sale of a much loved horse who in the past has jumped double clear at Intermediate level BE and completed a 3* short. Top ten placings at 2 * and won at Novice / 100 level.

He has been in the money the odd time he has been BSJ.

He has won and been placed all the way up the levels to PSG at BD and despite the tempi changes being a work in progress due to the rider not being able to count to 4 he has his area festival qualification for the summers this year!

I would love him to go to a home where he could either teach a child coming off ponies the ropes or an amateur wanting a gentleman to go and have fun on!

He is vice free and will travel with others or on his own (he’s acted as my emotional support animal for the young horses when travelling) and good to shoe, clip, hack etc

He’s not strong and will go around a xc track in collected canter or a gallop depending on what you want him to do.

I didn’t event any of my horses last year and I have kept him at 100open level this spring so that the option to downgrade him was possibility for the rest of the season.

Genuine enquiries only please.

River , 16.3hh, 8 year old bay gelding, SUPER EVENT PROSPECT! Will go all the way in the correct hands

  • 16.3 hands
  • Been to dressage comps, show jump clear rounds, team chased and hunted

River , 16.3hh, 8 year old bay gelding, SUPER EVENT PROSPECT! Will go all the way in the correct hands

River has been slowly and correctly produced, gaining his scores in his unaffiliated dressage tests, never scoring below mid to high 60%s in his dressage. Qualified first rounds SEIB trailblazers championships, ready to qualify second rounds in the next week. Just moved up to Novice level dressage and ready to affiliate.

River has been to numerous arena hires, popping round courses of 90cms and 1m with ease! So
Much scope to go up the levels, he has also been to arena eventing hires a few times and lots of XC hires (sommerford park a few times, rectory farm park and Swalcliffe Ec).

River has team chased, (didn’t even have a cavasson noseband on, just went round in a snaffle with minimal tack) nothing fazing him, hedges, ditches , water, steps etc, he has also hunted over some big country and attended numerous ladies days where he has been impeccably well behaved and learnt to settle on a hunting field.

River is a horse that needs a job, he loves going out and about , and it’s never too much to ask , he would go out every day to do something if he could! At competition venues he is an absolute pleasure , calm and easy to handle, warm up arenas no problem, and just delivers every single time.

River is fit and ready to go, I would love to see someone continue to produce him and further his education, stepping him through the levels in any discipline.

A bit of background: Finished racing December 2022, only ran twice so very low mileage
Had some few months down time after racing.

So this horse is something very special, a real head turner and such a pleasure to deal with! he also absolutely loves a fuss! A real life teddy bear

Great In open spaces, always snaffle mouthed, Hacks alone ( although can take some encouragement if he is nervous of something) or in company, good in heavy traffic, fit and ready to go , very well schooled, works in a beautiful outline, 3 balanced paces, very flashy and uphill movement.

Done Pub rides(stands whilst you finish your drinks)

Good to box, clip (although a little ticklish in some areas!) and shoe, up to date on shoes and vaccinations up to date and just been wormed.

Has had a wind op, after his first race doesn’t affect him in anyway.
Retired sound no injuries. However, has been seen to weave invery occasionally when stressed/ not getting enough work/ turnout
(Soon settles and isn’t constant only at times of high stress) and this must be a handful of times I’ve seen this over the past year and a half!

Turns out alone or with others (mares and geldings)

River is one I would keep for myself as we have spent a long time producing him, but I have too many horses and I can’t keep them all, he will make such a fantastic horse for someone

Open to viewings and vetting’s more info on request

He gives an exceptional ride and is always very mannerly for the ride judge, often scoring highest ride marks in his classes

Phoenix is a schoolmaster and knows his job in the ring

He also is fantastic to hack, and absolutely loves it!

Due to his lovely rhythmical and uphill paces I feel he would also be well suited to dressage.

He is Freisian X so feel this is certainly something he could excel in

He turns heads wherever he goes, he really is an oustanding horse!

Sadly available on behalf of his owner as her circumstances have changed

  • Quinton would be a super fun horse for someone wanting to be competitive in dressage or showjumping
Quinton is a 10 year old Irish Sports Horse gelding. Quinton is incredibly talented in all phases but unfortunately doesn’t enjoy jumping bigger cross country tracks. Therefore I am looking for a new dressage or showjumping home for him.

Quinton excels in the dressage. He has got three good paces and is very balanced. He has a soft and easy mouth. He doesn’t get sharp. When he goes in the ring he always gives a little bit extra which gives you a really good feeling! He has always scored above 70% in the dressage, often leading after the first phase. He knows most movements up to advanced medium.

Quinton also has a very nice jump and is very rarely touching a pole in the showjumping. He has showjumped up to 1.20. He has been clear in all his showjumping rounds this year.

Quinton would be a super fun horse for someone wanting to be competitive in the dressage or showjumping. He has a lovely personality, very kind and easy to handle. Hacks alone or in company. Good to travel, shoe, etc. Sound and ready to go!! Looking for a good home for him where he will pursue a career in SJ or dressage. He would be suitable for a younger rider also. No vices. He definitely has the talent and ability to progress up the levels in dressage and showjumping.

Based at Somerford Park Farm with excellent trial facilities.

This horse has a heart of gold and always tries his best, he loves his job and would compete everyday of the week! I have completely lost interest in showjumping so he is currently waited with me.

I have kept to discovery, 1.05m and the odd newcomers as this is my comfort level however he has the scope to do much more if someone would like him to! I have videos of him jumping 1.25m/1.30m

He has a BS record all from a 4yr old. He hasn’t been registered for last couple of years due to me not him- always been sound and in work!

I have also competed him in a few arena eventing where he come 2nd at Royal Norfolk show 2023. He has been to a few big shows and the Atmosphere never bothers him. He has been to Hickstead, Houghton International, Royal Norfolk show to name a few.

I took him Cross Country schooling for first time proving bold over the ditches and into the water! Video available!

Great to bath load catch clip, will stand on the box all day.

His price reflects that he is totally wasted with me and he is conformationally over at the knee- never been sick or sorry 8years of vet records to prove this!

He is not a horse that would live out he likes his stable!

16.1hh 7year old mare by Balou Du Rouet
Out of a mother successful jumped at 5* 1.60m level by Voltaire

A real clear round machine and a real winner.
She was triple clear and 3rd in the newcomers second rounds at vale view on her first attempt picking up a master ticket.

She’s got all her new and fox clears for this season second rounds and would be a top contender!

She’s proving to be a real winner winning upto 1.30m level and is very easy/ uncomplicated to ride.

She recently spent 2weeks at an international show in Belgium where she was constantly placed every day in the 7year old classes.

Lita is sure to continue being a very competitive 7year old this season and would be a real asset to a professionals string but equally is easy enough for an amateur to enjoy and have alot of success with.

She rides beautiful on the flat, never gets fresh or silly and is great to hack. A lovely person on the ground with no lumps bumps or vices at all. She’s not at all mareish and never gets fresh or silly.

This mare is a real yard favourite with a heart of gold.

Langaller Cambridge Don is a bright chestnut 16.1hh 6 year old gelding. Incredibly well bred Irish Draught cross Throughbred from the famous Langaller stud in Devon. Peanut also known as Perfect Peanut in the show ring is the ultimate allrounder. Shown to the highest level with too many wins to mention. But he’s not just a show horse, he’s an armchair hunter and loves his jumping.

As a three year old, he qualified for Horse of the Year Show in the Inhand Cuddy and behaved impeccably at HOYS. Since then he has been show as a lightweight hunter and Irish Draught Part bred sport horse with consistent success. He qualified for the Royal International Horse Show in both classes in 2024 and took everything in his stride at the final. He actually qualified for RI five times in 2024! He has also qualified for RIHS for 2025 and sold with the ride. A few of his successes in 2024 include:
- 1st and 2nd at the BSHA Spring Show
- 1st and Champion at Stafford County Show
- 1st, 2nd and Reserve Champion at the Royal Welsh Spring Festival
- 1st Three Counties Show
- 1st and Champion at Burwarton Show
- 1st and Reserve Champion at Tenbury Show

Peanut is fit and current competing in the start of his 2025 season, having already had a couple of wins and picking up his RIHS ticket. He has also started doing working hunter this year. He has a great jump and will jump any filler you put him at. Also done lots of showjumping, and is jumping lovely clears at around 80cm. Would go bigger in the future.

Perfect Peanut definitely lives up to his name on the hunting field. He really is your armchair hunter. Hunted two full seasons with the Wheatland hunt. Stands perfectly at the meet, mannered in the field or on his own, never pulls or hots up. Jumps all timber, ditches, hedges and anything you come across. Hunts in a snaffle. Perfect manners and really looks the part. Mainly hunted by a lady and even done abit of field mastering.

Perfect conformation and always gets compliments on how well he’s put together. Stunning floaty straight movement. A leg at each corner with plenty of bone.

The perfect allrounder who has really done it all. Done fun rides, cross country, jump clinics. Easy to do in all ways. Bombproof in the heaviest of traffic. Good to clip, shoe, catch, load, travel and wash. Rides out alone or in company. Super safe ride and quiet enough for the whole family to ride.

Up to date with vaccinations. Fully shod, fit and ready to go! Can be seen out competing at Stafford County Show. Perfect peanut really is a horse of a lifetime. Very sad sale of this much loved horse.
