Rain has a super kind and friendly nature. She loves to be fussed over and groomed.She works sweetly in the arena, and is well produced with three excellent paces. She is also safe and sensible schooling in an open field or cross country course.

Rain has recently started her jumping career but is showing plenty of talent, willingness and scope, over both cross country and show jumps!

Benson — an absolute stunner with a beautifully balanced conformation and a kind, genuine nature. He’s a super smart, eye-catching horse both inside and out, a versatile partner for a variety of pursuits.

Benson is a fun, honest, and sensible allrounder who truly loves to work. Not a kick-along plod, but forward-thinking and eager to please, he’s currently excelling in Pony Club activities and clinics alongside a relatively inexperienced 14-year-old rider giving her endless confidence and big smiles . His willing attitude and good temperament make him ideal for a rider looking to develop confidence and skill.

Absolutely fantastic jump, effortlessly popping around XC tracks at 90cm and happily skipping over 1m showjumping courses — with plenty of scope for more. He’s honest, reliable, and straightforward to ride in a snaffle, whether in the school or out hacking in open spaces always in a snaffle.

Benson has competed in unaffiliated dressage, showjumping, hunter trials, pony days, and camps. He has also worked in a riding school environment. While he’s a sturdy, sweet-natured type with athletic ability, he may be better suited to a slightly more experienced rider rather than a complete novice from the riding school as he works off the leg and has more engine than a true beginner would want, although he never does any thing nasty in any way.

He’s a pleasure to hack — unfazed by farm machinery, traffic, barking dogs, not spooky . No vices, and he’s up to date with vaccines and dentist.

Meet Bond - The time has come to find my Bond his new forever home. Bond has such a lovely kind temperament and is just a really lovely horse to have around.

Bond is currently out of work due to Joe fault of his own. When in full work he work’s beautifully and gives his rider a nice feeling. He’s mostly just hacked in his time with me, hacks alone and in company, good with traffic. Hasn’t done any jumping with me other than the odd log out hacking. He started coming back into work at the start of the year but due to his rider having a non horse related injury his work stopped. I’ve started longreining him out and done some lunging but I’m too heavy to ride him (14stone). He likes a nice lightweight rider.

Injury and vice free, up to date with all his vaccinations, teeth and feet. He has a couple of small flat sarcoids, one on his face and stifle, these have never grown and I’m treating them with a natural healing balm which had great results with my other horse. Good to load and travel, you’d forget he’s even in the box.

Tilly - approx 15.3, 5 year old Cob x mare no breeding recorded.

Tilly is a really super type and will make a lovely allrounder. Tilly has come over from Ireland having done lots of hacking, fun rides and lightly hunted. Did a few days hunting at the end of this season and was well behaved.

Working away sweetly in arena and picking things up quickly, she has naturally balanced paces and a lovely comfortable canter. Been to arena hires and is good to take out and about. Jumping a course of fences and not bothered about fillers/water trays. She has tons of jump and will be very capable once the finer details are finessed. XC schooled and popped away no problem she’s very honest to a fence.

Hacks alone and in company, good in traffic and in open spaces.

Good to get on and off. Super sweet temperament she really enjoys a fuss and a groom. Tiny but wary until she gets to know you but really nothing difficult! Would suit a variety of riders she’s a really lovely mare for someone to carry on producing.

Good to catch, load, wash off, clip. Super type that will mature into a horse that you really do not see anymore.

Hugo has been out and about to a few various places including arena hires, local clear rounds and xc schooling in which he has taken in his stride and handled with ease!

Hugo has been introduced to the road and seen Traffic, large, vehicles bicycles, the whole lot and has proven to be unfazed. He’s a very brave courageous character.

On the ground Hugo is a pleasure to be around he is well mannered and easy to handle, he is a true gentleman! He has a lot of character and never fails to make you laugh with his funny goofy personality making him almost impossible not to love. He stands well to be clipped, pampered and bathed and loads like a dream. He always stands patiently for the farrier too.

Imported from Ireland last year as 'just backed' and has spent the majority of her time on English soil hacking so far with her owner (she has been based at A.E Equestrian since she arrived).

From day 1 she has been really amicable, trainable and willing. She is a real 'leg in each corner' yet athletic type, with FUN stamped all over her.

Her flatwork is basic but nice, she pops a fence and really enjoyed the handful of XC/ farm ride outings she has been on - this would be where she excels.

She would be an ideal hunter/ RC/ PC/ all-round type. We think she would be great for a tall teenager looking to move onto a horse as, although she is big, she doesn't ride big and is lovely to have about. She is certainly a horse whereby the rider and horse could grow together.

She is not without sparkle and could do any job really at amateur level.

The trot is not big, and the paces are not 'wow', but Zaffron has heart and character to put a smile on her next humans face. The type that you learn the ropes together and the next minute you are at Badminton Grassroots.
