  • Ragnor Knight (Ragnor) IRH X - dapple grey gelding - 15.3 hands

Ragnor is a handsome gelding with a fantastic temperament. He has a positive attitude and a lovely personality, he always wants to please making him an absolute pleasure to ride. He has three lovely paces in the school with an extremely comfortable canter, you could sit it all day!

Since being imported from Ireland two years ago Ragnor has done a bit of everything; hunting (in Ireland), fun camps, jump clinics, fun rides, beach rides and has competed very successfully in Formation Riding. Ragnor is proven all-rounder turning his hoof to anything, he hacks alone or in company, happy front or back and is good in traffic. A fantastic opportunity for a competent rider looking for a versatile horse to enjoy a variety of activities.

Ragnor loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend as he is extremely loving. He is always easy to catch and is good natured in and out of the stable. Ragnor loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered, good to bath, clip and shoe. He will live in or out and loads and travels well.

Better videos will be available Monday.

Open to viewings and vetting.

Selling on behalf of one of my liveries as unfortunately a change in his owners circumstances forces sale. Based south of Norwich, Norfolk.

Snow Drop has not taken to polo as I had hoped, but she would make an excellent hacking horse.

She successfully passed a Stage 2 vetting last year and is sound and ready for work.

While she is not suitable for a beginner rider, she would be ideal for a competent rider looking for a reliable and enjoyable hacking horse.

She may also have potential in other disciplines with the right training and direction.

Stella is a super example of a first TB x heavy cob. Very correct and solid but with athleticism and a super movement.

She’s a very sweet girl who will make a wonderful family/riding club horse. I’m sure will turn her hoof to a bit of anything.

She has been with us since weaning at 6 months (now 4). Very well handled, loves a fuss, easy to manage around the yard.

Please note she is UNBACKED! She is a completely unstarted so a real blank canvas. She is ready to get going!

Please do not ask to see her lunge, loose school etc as we have not yet done this. She is a super horse, and her price reflects that she has not yet been started.

One hundred percent bomb proof. Horse. Absolutely has never bucked or reared. Not nappy.

Hacks great alone or company. A beautiful canter x. Ive owned Rocky. Just under a year and total has given me confidence to go up the ladder. So honest with her jumping.

She really loves it. Locks onto a fence. And equally great on the cross country course.

Last time out we were second. Bs.

A saint to hack. U can leave her and shes still as good.

The only thing I would say. She travels better in company.

Can send lots of video ect

Very smart 16.1hh Gelding by Native Ruler

  • A very versitile horse who would excell in numerous disciplines
  • Showjumped around 80/90cm with ease
  • Professionally schooled and easy to do

A super smart, quality gelding with a fabulous outlook and a very versatile profile – a horse that would suit a wide variety of ambitions and is equally appealing for grassroots eventing, riding club activities, hunting or an all-round competition home.

A full Thoroughbred, though very much not your typical fine or weak type. He has substance, presence and a quality sports horse look about him, often passing as more of a traditional sport horse model. Importantly he is not ROR eligible, having never been in race training.

Bred at Gatcombe Park before being purchased by his current owners as a two-year-old, with his full history known. His dam competed as an event mare, whilst his sire was noted for his jumping ability, and he certainly reflects those attributes in both his attitude and natural athleticism.

A very handsome gelding with an excellent way of going. He works in a correct rhythm with a purposeful walk, a balanced and forward-thinking trot and a naturally uphill canter that is easy to maintain. He gives a lovely feel under saddle and is an enjoyable, uncomplicated ride.

He has jumped around courses of 80/90cm and proves to be an incredibly genuine and forgiving type over a fence. He is very much a push-button ride, happily helping his rider out and taking a miss without becoming offended or sharp. He has all the foundations to continue producing in the right hands and would make a very smart grassroots event horse.

Out hacking he is reliable and well exposed. He hacks alone and in company, is sensible in traffic and has seen plenty of village life and general activity. He has also travelled away to clinics and arena hires, proving straightforward and easy to take out and about.

He has been ridden by a teenager, further highlighting his rideability and versatility across different riders.

On the ground he is a lovely horse to have around with a kind personality and easy nature. Good to clip, excellent in the stable and travels particularly well on a lorry. He is better on a lorry than a trailer. Good to trim and handle, though he does require a small amount of sedation for shoeing (not IV sedation).

A genuine, attractive and likeable horse with plenty still to offer and the attitude to excel in numerous spheres.

No silly offers.
Tack available.
International transport can be arranged.

  • Mr versatility, will turn his hoof to any job

Oversized full up 16h 5y Part bred Connemara gelding.

By the very popular Connemara performance stallion, Ross Fear Bui, out of an Earl of Newbridge dam.

Perfect for someone wanting the versatility and temperament of a Connemara but with a bigger stride and frame.

Moves beautifully on the flat and loves to jump!

He has been started perfectly. I have taken my time with him being a big lad. He has now been to plenty of clinics and training shows.

He effortlessly won his first go at a novice working hunter at my local agricultural show, and was also awarded overall hunter champion!

He has the versatility to turn his hoof to any discipline and has had a nice varied start to his education. He has also been out hound exercising over winter.

He is a true Connemara in a sports horse body. He really is in a class of his own and is a really fun horse to work away with.

He’s polite and mannerly both on the ground and onboard and is the dream horse to deal with in all ways. My children love helping me with him.

I take him everywhere on my own and he will quietly stand on the wagon and wait his turn.

He has done plenty of hacking both alone and in company. He lives in or out with mares or geldings and is happy to be left on the yard on his own.

Clean limbs, perfectly conformed, with absolutely no lumps, bumps or vices.

He is a seriously special horse and will undoubtedly be someone’s horse of a lifetime.

Perfect for an amateur wanting a very talented and capable young horse with a brilliant brain to have lots of fun with. Would make a fabulous eventer, riding club, working hunter.

I am very lucky to have found him, as a horse of this calibre, with no imperfections, and a brilliant temperament is like gold dust, so a 5 star home is a must for this special horse.

IDSH mare by Holsteiner stallion. Stands 17.3hh. 13yrs. Mare is an outstanding mover.

Has previously competed at RI and HOYS in Working Hunters. She has hunted. I took her to a couple of dressage competitions in the early winter and she did fine.

She is good in traffic and is a fun forward hack that could turn a hoof to lots of things with an experience.

Good in the stable and to box. I've not clipped her but apparently she is fine.

She has been turned out since February and is sold out of the field. Please do not ask to come and ride her. I do not have any ridden videos but there are plenty of photos.

Mare has a very slight shiver but is ok to shoe behind. There are a couple of very small melanomas and flat sarcoids. Vets view was they issues are unlikely to cause a problem but price reflects these issues.

She would suit an experienced rider on a budget who wants to have some fun.

If I had time I would bring her up into work but work commitments are getting in the way.

Quissini LS “Dorito” 16.1 14yr old Oldenburg

Honest advert for a much-loved horse – home is my absolute priority

This horse has truly been my best friend. He took me from jumping 70cm at 13 years old right through to 1.30 - we happily competed together for three years.

However, our journey hasn’t been without its challenges. After a fall (through rider error) at the second part of a double, it knocked both our confidence more than I realised at the time. Over the past 18 months I’ve tried to rebuild that confidence, but he is such a sensitive horse that he knows I’m not quite the same rider with him anymore.

I bought a new show jumper a year ago, and sadly my relationship with him has faded since. Over the winter I made the very difficult decision to turn him away for six months and start looking for the right new home – which is far more important to me than anything else.

He is currently being brought back into work and is the same genuine boy. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his character – he genuinely thinks he’s either a big dog or a person! He is a princess and loves attention.

I feel his ideal home would be with a confident, keen teenager or rider who wants to have fun and build a partnership, but not necessarily to go up the ranks. He hacks beautifully alone or in company, is happy to lead or follow, is a great babysitter for youngsters and absolutely loves beach rides. He is also good to lunge and enjoys schooling.

While his background is in show jumping, I don’t feel his heart is in the bigger tracks anymore – otherwise I would keep him. He has three lovely paces and would suit someone interested in lower-level show jumping (up to around 1m), combined training, or preferably all-round riding mother / daughter share

He enjoys being in work and is too good to be left in a field 24/7.

Open to sensible offers as I am relocating abroad.

Tango 5-year-old thoroughbred mare

We have had tango since she was a 3-year-old after proving she was not cut out for racing. After only 2 races.

Since we have had Tango, our daughter rode her just having fun taking her on lots of hacks, school/pole work etc, and she showed willing and is eager to please. She loves fuss and is easy to handle. And was proving she would make a great ROR for somebody.

We decided to turn her out for 12 months to give her time to mature and have a break. In the meantime, we bought an experienced showjumper, and my daughter is now too busy with qualifiers to bring tango on to her full potential. We our looking for a loving home who has the time to carry where we left off.

**Available at a reduced rate before we bring her in and start doing work with her again, which will increase it.*.

Izzy is a part bred Welsh mare who has been in the same home with us for the past nine years. She is really nice natured and loves to please. Clean limbed, very attractive mare with showing bloodlines. She has done all round activities with me including unaffiliated dressage, show jumping and cross country on BE tracks. She is well schooled and understands lateral aids, walk to canter etc. She is nice to school - forward going without running from the hand or leg. As she is now 17, she is looking for a home where she can enjoy going out to the occasional show, hacking, and/or a bit of jumping.

She enjoys pleasure rides, she is great to hack in company, she takes confidence from her rider when hacking alone. We have off road hacking so I can't comment on what she would be like in traffic. She is good to shoe, clip and catch. For travelling she is better loading onto a lorry than a trailer but will load onto a trailer with a training halter. She travels well on both.

Genuine reason for sale. She is better with unrestricted turn out and shelter and for this reason I won't sell her to a home with limited turn out. She turns out well with both mares and geldings and is nice natured in the field. She is currently coming back in to work after a winter break. She is a kind mare but not for absolute novices. Happy to discuss her past veterinary history.

She is a lovely mare and I'm really just looking for a kind, experienced home for her. Good home is much more important than price. Price to include some rugs and tack is available by separate negotiation. Based near Thetford Forest.

Jemima , 15.1hh 5yr old Irish cob mare. Nice stamp , well marked with a leg in each corner. Potential hunter / alrounder / riding club.

Jemima has been with us for a couple of months now , previously been in the same home since a 2yr old. She has done lots of hacking with us , alone and in company , good in all traffic including busses farm machinery bikes etc.

Super easy in open spaces. She has been on farm rides and enjoys xc schooling. She makes a nice shape over a fence and really enjoys it. Her flatwork is improving all the time , she has 3 nice paces , she enjoys her work and has potential to produce a nice dressage test. She can work in a nice shape but not the finished article just yet. We have taken Jemima out to arena hires , she has jumped a small course of showjumps and not phased by fillers.

She is easy to take out , loads and travels well and stands on the box well alone.

Easy to shoe , bath , clip etc. She can sometimes be tricky to catch in a big mixed herd , but we feel with a 1-1 home or maybe just more of a routine this will improve. At the moment she isn’t getting loads of work due to having so many breakers in.

She’s happy being ridden once a week or every day. Jemima has no vices lumps or bumps. She isn’t a novice ride as she is forward going and still green in places. She will need a balanced rider , she has never bucked reared etc but she is a nicely responsive ride. She can sometimes be a bit impatient when asked to stand once ur on , but stands at the mounting block like a rock.

Get on and go sort of a cob! Lovely summer project for someone , she has all the basics there just needs finishing off and would really thrive in a 1-1. Someone will have loads of fun with this cob!

Ivor is a genuine, kind-natured horse looking for a knowledgeable home where he can be enjoyed to his full potential.

He is an excellent hack, both alone and in company, and is happy to go anywhere, making him a very enjoyable and confidence-giving ride out and about.

Previously competed up to Foxhunter level (BS name: Inverness), giving him a solid foundation and plenty of ability. More recently, he has been used for hacking, lessons, and fun rides, which he thoroughly enjoys.

Ivor is a friendly, sociable horse who loves attention and is easy to have on the yard. He is good to shoe, clip, load, etc., and is happy living in or out.

He is not a novice ride as he can occasionally be spooky in the school, so would best suit a confident, capable rider who will get the best from him.

He has a mild shiver which has remained unchanged and has never affected his work. He has passed two 5-stage vettings.

Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, and routine care. Open to any vetting.

Price negotiable to the right, knowledgeable home.

Stardust is such a lovely pony, never nasty, will lick you all day long.

11 years old by Kylebeck Crespo. He is a lovely chestnut / slightly roan in places with striking markings and his well known white feather display on his o/s flank.

Very well shown in hand and sired many foals before being cut for his ridden career. We have had him for just over 3 years and really don't want to sell him but my daughter has changed jobs and the hours and days have made it impossible to ride and show any ponies. This is so sad as he is at his best now. Advertised him before, took him off because so many of the wrong people ringing, he is loved and will only go to the right home.

You can take him into the buziest rings and he never get hot or edgy, pouring rain, heavy mud.

Never strong, ridden on light contact, Big softy , easy to do , totally home produced , perfect confirmation, has a glass like coat in the summer and very little in winter.

Lives in and out happily, good with others, farrier, travel.

Can be found easily on the internet.

1st Devon County 2024

2nd in couple of RI qualifiers

Should easily go out pick up his tickets if you want to show but he loves a varied life.

Stardust is so loved he will not be sold to anyone, he deserves the best of homes. He is priced to sell not put up for a silly figure. His Black country saddle available at extra cost.

Location Somerset, 3 miles from junction 23 of M5

She is a comfortable armchair ride. Easy to do in all ways. No vices or health issues. Safe hack on the open mountain.
