Ruby has been with us for the past few years and has been a great companion to our 37yo mare

Ruby is a part bred Hanoverian. sire is Chicago / cor de Le bryere lines

She is happy to be left on her own or mixes well in a herd

Sadly her friend was put to sleep so we no longer need her as a companion.

She is an absolute sweetheart to handle. Always comes over to you in the field, loves a stroke and a brush

Good with farrier and vet

Would make a great therapy horse as she loves the fuss and attention

Currently living with 3 other mares

When we purchased her we were told that she was broken to ride as a 4yo but we have never ridden or tried her as she was purchased as a companion

She is very sweet in the stable loves being groomed and cuddles. Can live out in winter. Currently barefoot

She's been to local dressage competitions and camps and lessons and behaved impeccably - she’s very good to travel and will stand I lorry all day to keep something company.

Now for the bad bits -
She gets sweet itch so this needs managing with rugs, ointments and routine etc
See has stifle issues so Not for ridden work now, but great at groundwork and she’s not on any medication. Full disclosure re previous medical condition and treatments
