2018 bred by the sire CC Captain Cruise [Clover Hill x Cruising] who has 1.60m wins National GP circuit. Dam: 1.10m [Diamond Lad x Lim]. Fig is an exceptionally well bred Irish Sports Horse who has grown to 15.1HH. She is a mare that could be a gelding.

Bought as a three-year old and produced slowly to be a competitive amateurs horse for myself. I purchased this filly for her size, breeding, conformation and paces, but her temperament and ride-ability has proven to be what is most exceptional about Fig. Small but competitive horses with her ability and nature are rare to find.

Fig was broken by myself as a four year old and took to work like a duck to water, she lead the hack on her first ride out. I established her as a four year old before giving her the winter to physically mature. She has been in full work for her entire fifth year (turning six this coming month of May). I’ve taken her to weekly arenas hires, training shows, hunt rides and cross country both on surface and grass. She loads, travels and will wait in the lorry all day. She stands and ties up quietly and can be handled by anyone.

To hack: Fig is always a soft snaffle mouth. She is very well mannered alone and in company, on the roads, in the woods or in open grass spaces. She will go in front or behind and she’s the horse I’ll give to a friend wanting to join me for a ride. Stands nicely while you sip port with the hunt or stop at the pub!

To jump: Fig is naturally straight, rhythmical, adjustable and covers the ground - making the horse stride no problem. She takes you to a fence without getting strong, helps you out of a miss and is careful and clever. There’s power in her engine and she’ll make some impressive turns to be unbeatable against the clock in due course. For now! She’s been thoughtfully taken around 80cm courses and 105cm on training exercises.

To school: She is balanced and correct in her schooling. She’s quick to learn, keen to please and will produce a successful dressage test. Scoring 32.3% (77.8) and winning her first combined training show this week.

Ready to go - Badminton Grassroots, BS Bronze League, NSEA/PC or an exceptional Riding Club horse.

Never strong or silly, ridden in a loose ring snaffle for all three phases, will walk/trot over a pole or small fence and equally canter to something bigger in a relaxed manner.

Easy to handle on the ground and in the stable. Loads perfectly and stands by the lorry quietly eating a haynet at a show.

Extremely sad sale due to no fault of his own, simply don’t have the time to give him the attention that he deserves. Ali is a sassy boy and has been adored for years. He is a safe ride. Has competed up to 75 cms but has jumped 1m at home. Ali can buck out of excitement but nothing nasty he just loves his job. Ali can be a stubborn boy when hacking alone with myself but with my sister he hacks beautifully as he needs a more experienced rider than myself. Will hack beautifully in company, amazing with traffic, pigs, tractors, lorries etc as we are on a busy farm. He is amazing to lunge and work with in the round pen as he is very responsive to speech.

Ali is a beautiful boy and he knows it! He is the perfect all rounder. He love’s attention and fuss.great with the farrier and dentist as long as they are kind. Good to load, sometimes can be a bit silly for the first 5 minutes but okay overall. With new things, Ali needs someone who is patient and soft handed. He is good to be be turned out and in,e will come to you when you call him even if he’s at the other side of the field. He loves his friends in his herd and causes no issues. He is extremely loved by everyone on the yard.

Recently we changed his bridle to a non leather bridle as he didn’t get on with leather bridles as it gives him strain behind his ears. Since this change he has so much better putting his bridle on.

Ali can be head shy at first but once he gets to know you, you can do anything with him. Sometimes he can be cheeky when putting his bridle on but I have worked on this with him for years and will show all the tricks get around this at the viewing.

Ali is a special one of a kind pony and will not just go to anyone and will not go to anyone unseen. Ali will only go to a soft kind rider and someone who is willing to put the time and effort into him.

He has been lightly worked during the winter but this has not made any difference to his work ethic only difference is he a chunky monkey.

As I said previously, I simply don’t have the time anymore as I work 6 days a week and I now feel he deserves better.

He is up to date with the farrier, dentist and vaccinations.

Heartbreaking sale due to a change in personal circumstances.Lily is an absolutely beautiful mare with stunning paces and a sweet personality to go with it.Lily didn't have the best start in life and so can be a slightly nervous person with new people,however once she gets to know you she will be your best friend.

Lovely affectionate Connemara with tons of potential in any discipline .. he is beautifully schooled already on the flat and has been out to shows and arena hires. He is 5 but has a very mature outlook already.

He has been to 2 dressage shows and won and placed each time .. he won a big Prelim on 75% (Bury Farm) and scored 66% and 67% in his other 2 tests with lovely comments. His attitude is exceptional and with these being his first shows, the future looks super for him. He stood on the lorry all day, was super relaxed in the warm up, literally faultless.

RB loves to jump and is showing lots of potential for both showjumping and eventing. He is currently training around 90cm SJ courses at home, and trained over individual fences to 1m10, showing scope and ability for more. He has a lovely careful jump and is unfazed by fillers, water trays etc. RB has been XC schooling proving bold and brave, goes through the water and over ditches. He stays a lovely responsive ride out xc and goes in a snaffle. RB has also drag hunted where he behaved well.

RB moves well and works nicely on the flat. He has been out to a prelim dressage gaining 68.77%

RB is good to hack both in company and on his own, he is good in traffic and open spaces.

RB has been slowly and carefully produced and is now ready for a competitive rider to enjoy him. He would be perfect to produce with badminton grassroots in mind. Also would excel in BS classes.

RB is good to do In all ways including box, shoe and clip. He is a lovely responsive and willing ride, and goes in a snaffle for everything. He is still a little green but is incredibly willing and proving to be a very quick learner.
