Patchy is an out and out jumping machine who has taken me from BE 80 - Novice and started BS seniors Novice to Newcommers. She’s quick against the clock and would be an ideal Amateurs/ bronze league horse. She’s been on every Pony Club and Riding Club team you could imagine, jumped up to 1.15 at shows, 1.25 at home and novice xc although she has schooled over plenty of intermediate lines.

She’s uncomplicated to a fece, never stops and not spooky at fillers etc. Patchy loves a big occasion and has jumped on teams at all the local internationals, and competitor at countless championships.

Patchy is a beast out xc, won many hunter trials and always close to the clock . She’s one of those ponies that you could work everyday or equally give her weeks off and she’d be the same.

She loves to hunt, been to all the big days out new years, Boxing Day etc happy to be at the front or back and jumps all the big hedges then stands impeccably at the port stops.

If you want a pony that really jumps she’s your girl, however she is not the best in boards but if you can put up with her 46 dressage score she’ll jump novices all day long. Although she has worked well on the flat with some other riders so if you have some time the scores might come down. Jumped indoors and out, on grass and in the deepest of mud.

Great to load, stay away shows, and stands and waits impeccably on the lorry or trailer for her turn. I also ride and lead all my young horses of her and she’s not fazed. She’s got a lovely temperament lives in or out and easy to do in every way.

She is good to clip but a little nervous to start with. She also does weave occasionally at dinner time but if you tell her to stop she does.

Lovely quality 6 yr old Connemara gelding who has had a great varied education with experience in showing, showjumping, arena eventing, XC, hunting, beach rides, hacking etc.

He is safe and sensible, snaffle mouthed at all times. He has competed successfully at some big shows including RDS and unfazed by the atmosphere. He is good as gold in collecting rings, around other horses etc. Equally happy to stand and wait quietly for others to have their go so ideal for PC etc.

Having shown very successfully, he is clean limbed and correct. He is a very comfortable and easy ride. He has no vices or quirks or vet issues.

Lovely to hack, both in company and alone. Good with traffic, farm traffic, and open spaces.

This lovely boy has a great attitude and tons of potential to be a super consistent Pony Club pony across all disciplines. He is in full work and ready now to go straight out and about. He is forgiving enough to take a less experienced rider from cross poles up the levels with the right support. He is ridden by both children and adults and always the same. Ridden and competed in the past year by my 15 year old daughter, with some professional help too, he is only now for sale due to lack of time to produce him to his full potential & he is ready to go on to the next level. He has been produced slowly and carefully so far and has the potential to turn his hoof to any competitive sphere.

My daughter has done a bit of everything with him including a stay away camp, ODE, cross country, showjumping, pony club & loads of hacking both alone and in company. Bold & brave XC, with beautiful uphill paces and a big show jump too, he would do WHP, event, show jump or even do pure dressage with the right rider.

Wotsit is quite sensitive, with plenty still to learn & very forward going, especially jumping, so he is not suitable for a novice or for an older child looking for a 'first horse' unless very capable rider.

Was a little tricky when she arrived, so not a novice ride and needs a competent small rider, but we have done a lot in the last 4 months (ryan has done a great job) and she’s now ready to find someone to bring her on further, that she can trust and have a lot of fun with. She has a super talent over a fence, although we have only done a handful of times here. Hacks out and lovely to handle.

Grace is green and needs to get stronger in her body and continue her education, but she will be a super little horse for someone in any discipline. I have been lucky enough to own Bea for nearly 5 years now and we have had the best fun together! She loves all activities, we’ve done fun rides, hacking (solo and in company) flat and jumping clinics, dressage, showing and camps. She is always in the ribbons. She has a fabulous jump on her as you can see from the photos and will pop round a course of 50-80cm with gusto at a clinic or at home but is less enthusiastic in a competitive arena. This might be something that could change over time, I have only taken her SJ 4-5 times. She works nicely in the school and we can currently be found on the Quest leaderboard for Intro and Prelim, where she consistently scores in the mid to high 60’s.

Bea is a typical Welsh, with bags of sass and super-expressive, you will never be in any doubt where you stand with her! She has lovely manners and is very easy to manage. She can be a bit sharp occasionally when ridden, however, and for this reason would not be suitable for a novice or child. She has never ever frightened me the whole time I have had her, she will keep you safe, providing you ride quietly and confidently. Bea is 100% in traffic, stands quietly to be shod, clipped and bathed.

She is up to date with the chiro/physio/vacc/teeth and is open to vetting. She loads and travels beautifully in a lorry or trailer and will stand quietly on the box at an event. I go out on my own with her a lot and she’s very easy to travel, tack up and mount. She is currently fit and ready to go for a summer of fun.

Bea would make an ideal mother/daughter share, riding club horse or would suit a confident teen. I have made the very difficult decision to sell her as I desperately want to do more jumping; I am of an age where I may not have too many jumping years left in me and am keen to make the most of them! Bea is at livery just outside Bicester where she can be viewed and ridden. Please note that I will be vetting potential buyers as much as you will be vetting Bea, so be prepared!
