Jack is a striking, sensitive 8 year old Welsh Section D gelding looking for an experienced and confident rider to continue his education. He is green but progressing steadily in the school, working nicely on the flat in walk and trot and happily popping poles. With the right partnership, he would shine in a showing or dressage home, where his presence and movement can truly be developed.
Jack has been taken down a private lane and has seen pushbikes, cars and dogs, taking everything in with interest. He is still young in his education, so he'll benefit from continued, calm exposure and mileage.
He has classic Section D traits - expressive, intelligent and forward. He can be spooky and may be nervous of new people; he needs someone patient who will take the time to earn his trust. Once he bonds with you, he is a loyal and willing horse. Jack is a sensitive soul who thrives on consistency, clear boundaries and regular work.
I have completely over horsed myself with jack, he was originally bought as a mother daughter share which he is not. He needs to be in regular work, maybe a competition home would be best suited. He is ridden twice a week in the school, due to bad weather he hasn't been ridden in a week but has been lunged. He comes to call. I only want the best home for him as I do love him very much.
- Vaccinations / Teeth / Worming all up to date
- Barefoot with regular trims
- Best suited to a smaller quieter yard environment
- Looking for a home where they can offer him routine, confidence and continued education
- Has been clipped we did give ACP just to give him a good 1st experience
- Loads and travelled to me, I haven't travelled him since he arrived to me
- NOT SUITABLE FOR NOVICE RIDERS
****EDIT****
Jack is now being sold from the field, He needs to bond with his person first so because of this he is now being sold as a project. He will require lots of ground work prior to him being ridden. I have had people view him that say they are a confident rider and this has not been the case. Home is more important than price for this horse.
