Offered for sale through no fault of her own, Liddyfield Lulu is a truly special pony who has brought endless joy and confidence to her current rider. We have owned Lulu since she was rising 6, and during this time she has proven herself to be a genuine, talented, and versatile all-rounder.

Lulu has competed successfully in unaffiliated showjumping up to 1m with previous owners and enjoyed a variety of disciplines including:
• Arena Eventing
• Working Hunter
• Showing
• Cross Country (confident through water and over solid fences)
She has a careful, scopey jump and brave, willing attitude—showing real potential as a future HOYS Working Hunter contender with the right rider.

Lulu schools beautifully on the flat with three balanced, expressive paces. She is soft in the hand, responsive to aids, and never sharp or silly in open spaces.

A pleasure to hack alone or in company—Lulu is confident in traffic, unfazed by farm machinery, and experienced on busy and quiet yards. She leads or follows happily and is safe on farm rides. She is perfect to hack around local lanes and roads.

Lulu would suit a confident and competent rider looking for a second or third pony to progress through the levels. She has also been led with novices and children but is definitely not a true first pony as she can be strong, but never sharp or silly. She looks after her rider and is always willing to please. But please no novices.

14.3hh 9yrs old WPB Black gelding. Charlie is a very smart horse, he has 3 balanced flashy paces and works into a contact. Competed at pony club, dressage, XC and SJ events.

Charlie has a lovely jump happily popping course of 80 with scope for higher. Has done unaffiliated dressage with ability to progress.Hacks alone and in company. Good to clip/ shoe/ box/ catch.

Charlie has been our much-loved happy hacker and leisure horse. He’s mostly been used at pony club, hacking and schooling by our teenage daughter, but unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances our daughter is no longer able to give him what he needs.

He’s a fun, forward-going ride with that classic Welsh spark. He’s never nasty, but he does have that cheeky, intelligent Welsh nature, so he’s best suited to a confident and experienced rider who can enjoy and channel his personality.

In the right hands, he’ll make someone an absolutely brilliant partner and go a long way – whether it’s for hacking, fun rides, or even bringing on further if you want to do more.
