Would be ideal for a child 9/10+ or even a small adult! Barney absolutely loves to compete, never sharp or silly. He totally knows his job and will teach any jockey the ropes! Easy to do in all ways, hacks alone or in company, no vices or health issues and never medicated! Favourite on the yard.

Barney has been on lease to a teenage dressage rider for the last two years. She has jumped him in training but hasn’t competed him, although he’d absolutely love to go back to jumping more alongside the dancing!

CALLOWFEENISH P.J shines on the international stage – now offered for sale via an online timed auction on MartEye at Connemara Pony Sales Clifden.

CALLOWFEENISH P.J, a 2013 Connemara gelding, continues to make his mark in international show jumping. Bred from Precious Otto and Palermo (by Tanatallon Bobby), the talented grey gelding has proven himself as a consistent and competitive presence on the FEI Youth circuit.

Under the saddle of Italian rider Giorgio Marini, CALLOWFEENISH P.J has represented Italy at some of the most prestigious youth competitions in Europe. His 2025 campaign has featured appearances at Nations Cup stages in Compiègne, Busto Arsizio, and Zuidwolde, as well as a strong showing at the Pony European Championships in Le Mans and the CSIO Youth Finals in Lier where he won a gold medal with team Italy in the Challenge Cup.

In addition to his 2025 performances, CALLOWFEENISH P.J has already demonstrated his ability to deliver results at the international level, including a top-ten finish in the International Pony 1.25 m class at Valkenswaard in 2024.

For the first time in history, the renowned Connemara Pony Sales in Clifden will host an online timed auction, and CALLOWFEENISH P.J will be the pony offered. The auction will run from Friday, October 10th through Monday, October 13th, marking a new chapter for the auction house as it embraces a digital platform to reach an international audience.
What is even more unique about this auction is that CALLOWFEENISH P.J was bought as a five year old in the Connemara Pony Sales in October 2018 and now the auction house has been entrusted in offering him for sale again.

The time has come for us to find a new home for the lovely Lambo. He has been part of our family for the past 3 years, during which time, has taught both children to go up the ranks from jumping 80cm to 90cm-1.15m.

Beautifully schooled on the flat; three even paces. We have done BSJA, NSEA and PC with him; successfully competed and won at all the major pony shows in the UK including BS Nationals and POYS at 90cm, 1m and 1.10m level and the Derby at Wales and West

Previously jumped internationally with former owners as part of the Danish team up to around 1.20/1.25 level on the Danish Teams in Peelbergen, Herning, Lier & Baltic Cup 2022.

Fantastic to hack, great on the ground etc with no vices and the easiest, kindest pony to keep on the yard. Kind hearted and loves family life. Home most important for this special boy.

Based in Kent, Rhyd Ifan Guinness (Guinness) is a 18 year old Irish sportspony.. we've had Guinness for nearly three years now and very sad to sell him as we no longer have enough time for him.

Guinness mainly enjoys jumping and will very confidently jump around a 80cm course with scope to go higher, he also enjoys cross country and will happily hack alone or in company.

Despite being 18, Guinness is in very good shape and definitely has a good few years of competing left in him.

Guinness is good with the farrier, good to clip, good for vet, etc.

Guinness is happy to be turned out alone or in company (both mares and geldings), and Guinness needs turnout all year round.

Guinness is up for anything and is a plug and play horse when competing; you put him in the arena and he knows exactly what his job is. And he truly is a once in a lifetime pony, and we are gutted to sell him.

Guinness is not a novice ride and needs a confident teenager. Don’t be fooled by his age! He’s a gem!

Has competed in all PC and NSEA teams in showjumping, dressage and eventing. He has also regularly hunted for many years.

He has competed in the PC regional finals at Rectory Farm coming 6th in 70cm eventing. He now needs a home where he can compete up to 70cm in all disciplines.

Still really enjoys his work.

Newly backed 4yo 14.1h Connemara X ISH for loan/ long term loan. Iris has been absolutely perfect to start and is now looking for someone to hack her and/ or produce her in the long term.

Iris is the daughter of our perfect mare, Daisy. Her father is international show jumper 'Ardcolum Duke' and he also has an amazing temperament. Our daughter backed Iris this summer with the help of Tom Mitchel with natural horsemanship methods. Iris has been absolutely perfect to start and is now looking for someone to hack her and/ or produce her in the long term.

She has an adorable temperament, is not spooky, and is very straightforward. She has hacked alone and in company, been on a sponsored ride and gone through all 3 paces. She is lovely to handle and very cuddly. She has lived out in a herd, and happy to come in for drying time in the winter and be in over night or through the day. She is easy to travel. She has not had any bad experiences.

Looking for the perfect loan home who will treat her like their own, nurture her and bring her on gently. We do not have a deadline for this loan as our daughter has her own small horse (a 15 hand amazing palomino, who we also need to figure out what to do with!) and has gone off to uni, our son has given up riding and we still have her perfect mother, Daisy. Iris might still be growing and we expect her to be an incredibly versatile horse with a great jump.

Duke is a super smart pony that will do everything! He will Hunt, Event, Pure dressage - BD upto Novice. Working Hunter , Show, Hack or just be your best friend . A true Pony club allrounder!

We have owned Duke from a 4 year old who came from Ireland who had been with a lovely family who had started him with his first event and we have stayed in contact. He was brought for my then 11 year old daughter and they have had so much fun together! This is a heart breaking sale, but sadly my daughter is now 16 and looking for a step up Eventing School Master Horse.

Duke was my daughters first pony , my daughter was nervous and had not ridden much - since having Duke they have done everything, from pony club camps, regionals, Regional and Area BD Dressage, Pony Club Camps, BE and Cotswold Cups, NSEA.

He is great for a Mother/Daughter Share and I would love to keep him if I could as I have recently done Pontispool Cotswold Cup and he took me round after not eventing for many many years! I have also started doing British dressage on him, lower scores due to me forgetting tests! He also would make a great working hunter pony or solely dressage as he is so smart! He can get tense sometimes , but then relaxes and does a lovely test. My daughter has recently done JCB Pony Club Champs dressage to Music Novice.

He is sensitive and looks after you, so will need a quiet rider who will set him up correctly for jumping - He jumps everything - ditches, walls, water etc.

He won the Puissance with our local pony club last year at 1.15cm, he has jumped 1.25 at home, but at a competition he is best at 80/90cm - He may go on to do more in the right hands.

He has also hunted with myself and my daughter and looked after my daughter over huge walls on Boxing Day Meet last year! He loves Hunting! He will put in a buck with excitement!

He hacks alone ( may look at things) but hes good alone or in company, a dream to load! Plait, mane and tail. Good to shoe and handle, catch , clip. Hes a big pet and we adore him! He is nervous of a water hose pipe but thats it!

Easy to take away at shows, / stay away shows. We currently feed him lots of competition food for the job, but would easily step down for a slower pace!

Home is so important for this gorgeous pony who I didn't really ever want to sell and we would like to keep in contact with his new owner. We are also only selling him so we can buy the next horse - School Master Event Horse. So no loans or time wasters please. This pony deserves the best home and will offer so much!

He is a joy to have about and is fit and ready to carry on with his next rider.
