  • An Opportunity to buy a lovely pony at a cheaper price before she does more.
  • Good on the ground and an overall nice person.
Purdy has just started coming back into work lightly, after having the winter off. She was lightly backed last year before she was turned out for the winter. She is great to catch, good for the dentist, farrier etc, loves a groom and she is an overall a lovely person.

She is great out hacking but prefers someone next to her on the ground to build her confidence. Hacking is the only thing she is doing at the moment to get her going.
She has a full Welsh passport with all breeding recorded.

Her price will increase the more I do with her. Open to full vetting. Videos upon request.

Made to measure saddle and rugs available at extra cost.

Jack is a rising 4 (June) Connemara by Maumturk Oliver out of Lough Fee Star.

He is well handled and a joy to be around. He has a sweet trusting nature but is not bolshy or rude. He has had breaking tack on and not been phased by it.

Would be a lovely summer project for someone and has potential to excel in any sphere.

Lack of time and space forces sale but I have had Jack since he was a yearling and am very fond of him. He will make someone a beautiful pony and I am keen to find the right home for him.

Charlie is a 148 chestnut rising 5 year old mare. Charlie has a very willing attitude, always wanting to please and really enjoys her work.

I broke her in myself last summer then had some down time in the winter before picking her back up again for further education.

Charlie has been to arena hire, clear round jumping and her first jumping competition. Behaving impeccably in a show environment, in the warm up and outside the ring.

Currently Charlie is jumping 60 and 70 with plenty of scope to progress through the heights, showing enjoyment for jumping.

Charlie has also competed in dressage a handful of times, with 3 lovely balanced paces, she could easily become a dressage pony or event pony. I haven’t taken her xc schooling but will do in due course.

Polite to handle, Hacks alone or in company, good in traffic. Good to shoe, catch, load and travel.

Charlie has been produced slowly with her future in mind.

This little mare has a big future but needs a quiet and confident rider to continue her education and reach her full potential

Plenty of videos and photos on request

Quality Registered Fell Pony Mare

4 year old, well bred. Standing 137cm and super wide, lots of feather. Is maternal sister to previous HOYS 138cm m&m WHP champion Brooksan Kichener

I have only owned Tori for a short time and my plan had been to show her this summer then produce her as a ridden pony for my kids. Unfortunately due to large vets bills and my warmblood not coming right, im having to let her go to a new home to increase our budget for the new horse.

I bought her direct from her breeder, who thought a lot of this pony. In the short time she has been with me, I have had her vaccinations and teeth done. She now picks up her feet nicely and stands well for the farrier to be trimmed. Ties up and is good to groom and bath.

We started her ground work recently. She now lunges and long reins and we have sat up on her a couple of times and walked around the yard with no issues.
She is quick to learn, brave and not much phases her.

Good, straight mover and a good canter. Totally clean legs. And no white markings. I don't know much about showing but I belive she would do well. However would also make a fabulous pony/riding club, all rounder. She loves attention, good to catch.

As this was not the plan I don't have 100s of videos but happy for her to be viewed and open to any vetting.

This is a very sad sale, looking for a home who can help this special pony reach her full potential.

14.2hh approx rising 5yr old bay mare, Connemara x, by Wellbury Play The Joker. Out of a mare from successful showing lines.

Tuppence has been recently broken in by us, and has been the most straightforward, sweetest pony you could get.

She is showing 3 good paces, and a lovely attitude towards everything we have faced her with. She is hacking out confidently, happy to go in front or behind. She has seen some farm traffic and doesn’t seem phased at all. We have hacked her in the wind where she proved to be very sensible. We put a lot of emphasis on desensitisation during the breaking process, she has had all sorts of things waved around her/over her/walked over etc and takes everything in her stride.

Tuppence is a very loving, friendly pony. Always good to catch. Had her first pair of shoes on recently and was perfect. Loads well. We haven’t clipped her, but I can’t see this being an issue given how straightforward she is.

Tuppence won some in hand showing classes at country level as a youngster, including champion riding pony breeding and reserve shp breeding, plus 1st yearling sports horse at North Yorkshire county, champion shp breeding at Stokesley, and reserve champion shp youngstock at Hambleton.

I would expect her to have a very bright future ahead of her as a competition pony with a bit of education.

Price reflects need for a quick sale.

13.1hh Appaloosa gelding. 11 years old. All rounder/project. Not a first pony.
Home more important than price.

Alfie has incredible potential. With three excellent paces and a pretty face, I could see him making a winning debut in the show ring. Alfie has an active mind and always needs something to do. He would be a perfect spring project ready for a summer of fun. He's had a restful winter so just needs to be brought back into work again and reacquainted with the outside world.
Alfie is being sold due to no fault of his own, rider is simply needing something bigger and Alfie is bored sitting in the paddock.

Alfie is a wonderful hacking pony, sound in traffic, doesn't bat an eye at farm machinery, but does like his hand to be held when going past a scary plastic bag!

Alfie has strong flat work, would suit dressage with more work. He is ridden only in a snaffle or bitless bridle, he has a light mouth and is sensitive to leg and energy aids. Although Alfie prefers flat work, he has a lovely little jump. Jumped up to 80cm with rider.

No dirt (buck/bolt/rear etc).

Alfie is an absolute Labrador, he loves humans and having something to do. Suited to a laidback home where his personality is able to shine through and he won't be forced to do something he doesn't enjoy. Alfie is incredibly capable, his talents range from liberty work all the way to lateral.

Will only consider home with other horses. His lovely paddock mate is also available to keep him company.
Kind, experienced owners only.

Valerio - 14.3 Welsh d who has the heart of gold, I got him last year in not so good shape but has come on leaps and bounds and has plenty to offer.

I’ve hacked, schooled him but he needs more work hence project title He’ll be a cracking hunter type but just needs a confident rider who will push him to the max. He can through the odd excited buck when excited and has the classic cheeky Welsh personality.

I would love to keep in touch as this is a very sad sale unfortunately I just don’t have the time to show him the world and hasn’t been touched in a bout a month so selling from feild ideally He does take an extra bit of time to trust people but once he does your winning

Passported and is up to date with dentist, saddler and physio

He’s just had a new saddle fitted so he can come with tack but at an extra cost

Jim is a beautiful Connemara part-bred This is a truly special pony! Just turned 6, he’s a real life Black Beauty! With show quality looks and confirmation along with the temperament to match! He’s loving and affectionate on the ground and the children do everything in the stable.

He is schooling well and popping a course of jumps confidently. Currently jumping around 60cm/70cm with scope for higher heights with more education. Enjoys jumping logs , going through water etc. Attended a pony club show jumping rally where he behaved impeccably .Attended a hunt meet on the lead-rein.

Now looking for a loving home and to begin his career with a capable jockey / we feel most suited to a teenager . Not suited for novices or young children as a first pony due to his age. We feel the best home is a knowledgeable home that can spend the time and patience to educate a youngster. This is reflected in the price. Unfortunately my son wishes to concentrate on show jumping with an older established pony, I can’t keep them all so had to make the difficult decision to part with Jim.

Jim loves hacking alone and in company without any issues. Ridden by a teenager twice a week (schooling , jumping and hacking , cross -country ) and then by my young children.

Currently in at night and out by day, he loves his comforts . Can be with others or on his own in a paddock. Easy to catch and turn out by children. Amazing manners in traffic etc, first or last and not spooky. Used to heavy farm machinery and animals.

Excellent for the farrier, dentist vet easy to shoe, clip and load. The children brush, wash , tack up, load him etc - all groundwork done by the children.
Up-to-date with teeth, farrier, physio, vaccinations , worming.

Fit and ready to go. Strictly no time wasters. The right match and loving home is the most important thing to us.

Rosie is a lovely cob cross, rising four in May, who needs a person of her own to bring her on and continue her education. She has been lightly backed and well handled, having been in one home from birth. She is currently standing just over 14.1hh and is still bum-high so has a little more growing to do.

She turns out in a mixed herd without any drama but is also happy to stay on her own in field or stable. Easy to catch from the field. She is good in traffic and for the farrier (bare foot). She loads and travels well, currently acting as emotional support for a field mate who doesn’t like to travel alone. She’ll happily stand on the wagon with a hay net while everyone is busy.

She has taken well to having a job and is happy under saddle but is in search of a person to continue her education as we’re lacking the time and a suitable jockey to do her justice. Bags of scope and potential.

CHAPS registered. Up to date with vaccinations and teeth. Never sick or sorry with no veterinary history. Tack and wardrobe available.
